Abstract

The phenomenon of the Islamic economy recently is a principal part of the global economy. The brands and services with halal/sharia concept in many products have become increasingly trending in the global economy, including in the tourism industry. Opportunities for the development of halal tourism are widely open as the rapidly growing Muslim population in the world. This study aims to analyse the potential of halal tourism from the educational aspect and the number of tourist visits to Bromo Tengger National Park. Primary data were collected through distributing questionnaires to Muslim tourists, in which the judgment sampling method was used for the selection of respondents. The number of respondents who filled out the questionnaire was 250 people. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using the exploratory multivariate method. Tourist education and the number of tourist visits to Bromo Tengger act as aspects that can influence tourist perceptions in providing an assessment of the potential of halal tourist destinations. The results showed that the tourists gave a pretty good perception for every aspect of measuring halal tourist destination. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the Bromo Tengger destination has the potential as a halal tourist destination. Keywords: halal tourism, potential, tourists.

Abstract

This study aims to empirically examine the influence of service quality on the saving intention of Islamic bank customers. It further investigates the mediating role of security perception in this relationship and analyzes the moderating effect of religiosity on the link between service quality and saving intention. This research method uses a quantitative approach through a survey. Primary data were collected via questionnaires from priority customers of Bank Syariah Indonesia using a purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to test the direct relationship and mediation effects of perceived security and religiosity as hypothesized in the research framework. The findings confirm that service quality directly enhances saving intention at BSI. Crucially, security perception acts as a significant partial mediator, meaning service quality builds trust and a sense of security, which in turn strengthens saving intention. Furthermore, religiosity positively moderates this relationship; customers with higher religiosity demonstrate a stronger link between perceived service quality and their intention to save, affirming the value of Sharia-compliance. This research enriches the marketing and Islamic finance literature by providing a validated model that incorporates mediation and moderation. It moves beyond direct-effect models, demonstrating how service quality translates into saving intention through the critical psychological mechanism of security perception. This study acknowledges several limitations. The geographic focus on a single BSI branch in Jakarta restricts the generalizability of the findings to other regions with different cultural or economic contexts.

Abstract

The performance of government employees plays an essential role in ensuring the delivery of effective, responsive, and accountable public services. In practice, differences in leadership approaches, human resource capacity development, and adherence to work rules often create variations in performance across organizational units. This study seeks to explore how these three factors contribute to the performance of government personnel. A quantitative explanatory design was applied in this study. The research respondents were 124 government officials working in 12 sub-districts in Lowokwaru District, Malang City, selected using census techniques. Data were gathered using structured questionnaires with a Likert scale and processed using multiple regression techniques. The results indicate that leadership practices, human resource development efforts, and work discipline are all positively associated with employee performance. Among them, human resource development emerges as the most influential factor. Collectively, these variables provide a substantial explanation of performance variation, indicating a strong model fit. In summary, enhancing government employees' performance requires a balanced effort to strengthen leadership quality, continuously develop employee competencies, and maintain consistent work discipline.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the use of the SIMGAJI Web Taspen application on reducing errors in family allowance payments for Civil Servants (ASN), with discipline as a mediating variable. The background of this research is based on the continued occurrence of payment errors despite the implementation of a digital payroll system in the Government of Probolinggo Regency. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 54 payroll treasurers from Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD). Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) to examine the relationships between variables. The results show that the use of the SIMGAJI Web Taspen application has a positive and significant effect on reducing errors in family allowance payments. In addition, the use of the application also positively influences the level of ASN discipline. ASN discipline is proven to have a significant effect on reducing payment errors and also acts as a mediating variable in the relationship between application usage and the reduction of payment errors. The R² values of 0.49 for discipline and 0.587 for the reduction of payment errors are both categorized as moderate, indicating that the model has sufficient explanatory power for the relationships among variables. These findings indicate that the success of information system implementation is not only determined by technology but also by user behavior, particularly discipline in data management. Therefore, improving the quality of application usage should be accompanied by strengthening ASN discipline to minimize payment errors and enhance payroll accuracy.

Abstract

This study examines the mediating role of customer satisfaction in the relationship between digital marketing, spiritual value, and patient loyalty in pesantren-based hospitals. A quantitative approach using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) was applied. Data were collected from 160 patients at  Yasyfin Darussalam Gontor Hospital using a structured Likert-scale questionnaire. The findings show that digital marketing and spiritual values significantly influence customer satisfaction. Spiritual value directly impacts patient loyalty, whereas digital marketing influences loyalty indirectly through satisfaction. Customer satisfaction was the strongest mediator. Integrating digital marketing strategies with spiritual services enhances patient satisfaction and loyalty. Customer satisfaction plays a key role in linking these factors to the long-term loyalty of patients. This study contributes to the literature by demonstrating the combined impact of digital marketing and spiritual care on patient loyalty, highlighting the importance of addressing both technological and emotional needs in healthcare settings. This study is limited by its focus on a single hospital with a sample size of 160 patients. The cross-sectional design restricts the ability to capture changes in patient loyalty over time, and other influencing factors such as service quality were not considered.
