Abstract

Teenage soft skills training as part of community service activities, in the form of soft skills and leadership training for teenagers at SMAN 9 Pandeglang. The focus of the activity is developing digital soft skills and emotional intelligence (EQ) as preventive capital to face juvenile delinquency and drug abuse amidst rapid social changes and life pressures. The method used is a participatory workshop involving 50 students with structured material on preventing juvenile delinquency and developing self-skills that utilize social media positively. The results of the activity show an increase in participants' awareness regarding the importance of emotion management, digital empathy, and strategies to adapt to digital era challenges. This article concludes that an intervention approach that integrates digital literacy with EQ-based character education is a relevant and effective strategy to strengthen adolescents' psychosocial resilience.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan metode bernyanyi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir simbolis pada anak usia 4–5 tahun di RA Al Fadhilah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode bernyanyi secara konsisten dan terencana dapat merangsang kemampuan berpikir simbolis anak. Anak-anak mampu menghubungkan lirik lagu dengan pengalaman nyata, seperti mengenali tokoh dalam lagu sebagai representasi teman atau anggota keluarga, serta mengekspresikan ide dan emosi melalui gerakan, ekspresi wajah, dan komentar spontan yang berkaitan dengan isi lagu. Lagu-lagu bertema emosi, alam, dan kehidupan sehari-hari terbukti efektif dalam memicu respons simbolik anak, baik secara verbal maupun non-verbal. Faktor pendukung keberhasilan metode ini antara lain adalah kreativitas guru dalam menyajikan lagu, antusiasme anak dalam berpartisipasi, serta dukungan orang tua di rumah. Di sisi lain, beberapa tantangan seperti keterbatasan durasi kegiatan, keterbatasan variasi lagu edukatif yang sesuai usia, serta adanya anak yang masih pasif atau malu, menjadi catatan penting dalam pelaksanaan metode ini. Simpulan dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa metode bernyanyi bukan hanya sebagai sarana hiburan, tetapi juga merupakan strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dan menyenangkan dalam mengembangkan aspek berpikir simbolis pada anak usia dini.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the overall effect of principals’ leadership on teachers’ innovative work behavior, compare the relative strength of different leadership styles, and assess heterogeneity and potential publication bias within the post-2015 digital education context. A meta-analysis of 26 quantitative studies (k = 26) indexed in Scopus between 2015 and 2025 was conducted using a random-effects model. The inclusion criteria were: (1) empirical quantitative studies; (2) examination of the relationship between principals’ leadership and teachers’ innovative work behavior; (3) provision of statistical data convertible into effect sizes; and (4) publication in Scopus-indexed journals. Statistical indicators (r, t, and F values) were converted into standardized effect sizes and analyzed using JASP to estimate pooled effects, heterogeneity indices, and publication bias statistics. The results indicate that (1) there is a very high level of heterogeneity across studies (I² > 98%); (2) all leadership styles demonstrate a positive and significant effect on teachers’ innovative work behavior (p < 0.001), with visionary leadership showing the largest effect size relative to participative, transformational, and ethical leadership styles (r = 0.641); and (3) publication bias tests using the Egger test and Fail-safe N reveal no significant indication of publication bias. These findings indicate that principals’ leadership is a significant factor in promoting teachers’ innovative work behavior in technology-mediated learning environments; however, the magnitude of its impact varies substantially across contextual conditions.
