Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang signifikan metode proyek terhadap kemampuan kerjasama anak elompok A Taman Kanak-Kanak Gugus V Kecamatan Buleleng. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi eksperiment). Desain penelitiannya adalah Non Equivalen Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 183 anak yang ada di gugus V kecamatan Buleleng, sedangkan sampel berjumlah 72 anak. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu rerata kemampuan kerjasama anak yang mengikuti metode proyek yaitu 38,41, sedangkan rerata kemampuan kerjasama anak yang dibelajarkan tanpa menggunakan metode proyek yaitu 30,46. Hasil analisis data lebih lanjut dipeoleh nilai thitung = 16,45 dan ttabel dengan dk (37+35-2 = 70) dengan taraf signifikansi 5% = 1,99 dengan demikian thitung>ttabel = 16,45> 1,99, maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode proyek berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan kerjasama anak kelompok A di gugus V Kecamatan Buleleng Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019. Berdasarkan simpulan tersebut, maka disarankan kepada peneliti lain agar dapat menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kerjasama anak.   Kata kunci : Metode Proyek, Kemampuan Kerjasama, AUD   Abstract This study was aimed at investigating the significant effect of project based learning towards students abilities in group A at Kindergarten Cluster Five, Buleleng district. This study used Quasi Experiment, and the design of this study was Non Equivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population of this study was 183 students of clustiver five, Buleleng district, meanwhile the sample was 72 students. The result of study was found the average of students abilities in group which is implemented project based learning method was 34.81. while the students abilities in group which did not implement project based learning method in the classroom was only 30.46. The further result of analyzing the data for t-count value was 16.45 and t-table with dk (37+35-70) and significant degree was 5% = 1,99 therefore t-count>t-table= 16.45>1.99. Hence, null hypothesis (H0) was rejected meanwhile alternative hypothesis (H1) was accepted. It can be concluded that project based learning method gave an effect towards students cooperation abilities Group A, Bulelenf district academic year 2018/2019. Based on the conclusion, so it suggested to antoher research to use appropriate teaching me5thod on increase studens cooperation ability.   Keywords: Project Based Learning Method, Cooperation Abiliity, Young Children

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode suku kata dengan media kartu kata bergambar terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan rancangan pretest posttest control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok B Gugus VI Kecamatan Buleleng Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019. Sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik random sampling sehingga diperoleh siswa kelompok B RA Nurul Huda yang berjumlah 29 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen, dan siswa kelompok B TK Ceria Asih yang berjumlah 23 orang sebagai kelompok kontrol. Untuk mengumpulkan data tentang kemampuan membaca permulaan digunakan pedoman observasi yang teruji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Untuk menguji hipotesis data diuji dengan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh metode suku kata dengan media kartu kata bergambar terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan anak di Taman Kanak-kanak. (t = 2.466 ; 0.017). Dari hasil deskripsi data dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat Pengaruh Metode Suku dengan Media Kartu Kata Bergambar Terhadap Kemampuan Membaca Permulaan Kelompok B Gugus VI Kecamatan Buleleng Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Kata-kata kunci : Metode Suku Kata, Media Kartu Kata Bergambar, Kemampuan Membaca Permulaan

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi guru TK terhadap pendidikan seksual untuk anak usia dini. Penelitian ini melibatkan 116 guru TK yang ada di Kecamatan Buleleng Kabupaten Buleleng Bali, 2015. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif yang disajikan dalam bentuk table atau grafik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi guru terhadap pendidikan seksual untuk anak usia dini adalah negatif. Jawaban responden secara keseluruhan 55.17% memiliki persepsi negatif, sedangkan jawaban responden 44.83% memiliki persepsi positif.

Abstract

Abstrak: Salah satu penguatan dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat terutama dalam pendidikan dan perkembangan anak usia dini adalah dengan adanya program pendidikan orangtua atau yang sering disebut parenting. Di masa pandemi covid 19 pendidikan parenting untuk orangtua sangat dibutuhkan. Kesibukan orangtua yang harus membagi perhatian antara pekerjaan dan mendampingi anak belajar di rumah tentu menjadi tantangan yang tidak mudah dihadapi orangtua. Sekolah sebagai agen perubahan ikut bertanggungjawab terhadap pendidikan anak di rumah selama pandemic berlangsung sehingga perlu memberikan penguatan kepada orangtua tentang literasi parenting hal ini bertujuan agar orangtua dapat mendampingi anak belajar di rumah. Berdasarkan identifikasi diketahui tidak semua guru paham bagaimana harus menjalin komunikasi dan bekerjasama dengan orangtua terkait perkembangan anak. Dinas pendidikan Kota Tangerang Selatan bekerjasama dengan fakultas ilmu keguruan Universitas Terbuka mengusahakan memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan literasi parenting kepada guru SD dan TK agar guru-guru orang dapat melaksanakan program parenting di sekolahnya.  Pelatihan ini diikuti 35 guru dari 9 sekolah dengan menggunakan metode webinar dan pedampingan oleh fasilitator. Hasilnya diperoleh 7 dokumen program parenting dengan topik membangun komunikasi empatik, peran guru dan orangtua dalam membangun kesiapan bersekolah dan sinkronisasi pendampingan pembelajaran daring antara guru dan orang tua. Abstract:  One of strengthening of society life especially education and development of early childhood education is parenting program at school. In pandemic situations, education for parents is very needed. The busy parents must share attention between the job and the accompaniment their kids were learning at home that could be a challenge for parents. As an agent of change, the school has a responsibility to the children's education at home, so that the school has to strengthen the parents. Based on identification it is known that most of the teachers did not understand how to communicate and do teamwork with parents about the development of children. The South Tangerang City education Office in collaboration with the faculty of teacher training of Open University seeks to provide parenting literacy training and accompaniment to elementary and kindergarten teachers so that the teachers can implement parenting programs in their school. This training was attended by 35 teachers from 9 schools using the webinar method and mentoring by facilitators. The results obtained 7 documents parenting program with the topic of building empathic communication, the role of teachers and parents in building school readiness, and synchronizing online learning assistance between teacher and parents.

Abstract

The rise of cases of sexual violence that occurs in minors causes victims to cause negative reactions such as shame, anger, hatred, offense, and psychological disorders. This study aimed to use picture card learning media to increase sexual understanding in early childhood. This type of research was development research. The model used in the study was the ADDIE model, which consisted of five steps, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The techniques used in collecting data were observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The instrument used to collect data was a questionnaire. The data analysis method used was the descriptive quantitative analysis technique. The material expert validity test was carried out with one material expert and one learning media expert. The study results were the assessments given by subject matter and learning media experts. The image media developed were very well qualified. It could be concluded that the picture card learning media was appropriate to be used as a learning media because it could increase students' enthusiasm and motivation in learning to increase children's understanding of sexuality. This research implied that the developed media could be used by teachers in increasing sexual understanding in early childhood.

Abstract

Sistem pendidikan terbuka dan jarak jauh merupakan sistem pendidikan yang sangat erat kaitannya dalam penggunaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dalam memfasilitasi keterlibatan  mahasiswa dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Guru Pintar Online (GPO) merupakan salah satu portal di dalam situs resmi Universitas Terbuka  yang dikembangkan sebagai bentuk kontribusi dan dedikasi Universitas Terbuka pada dunia pendidikan dan pengembangan kompetensi guru berkelanjutan. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini  adalah untuk menganalisis dan mengevaluasai implikasi dari website GPO, serta mendapat gambaran website yang ideal bagi pengembangan kompetensi guru dalam sistem pendidikan jarak jauh. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode asosiatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini di ikuti oleh 526 responden yang tersebar dari 11 program studi yang ada di lingkungan Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Terbuka. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya unsur kegunaan, kualitas informasi dan kualitas interkasi layanan dalam pengembangan website. Dalam pendidikan jarak jauh website pembelajaran diperlukan untuk memfasilitasi guru atau calon guru dalam pengembangan komptensi secara berkelanjutan. Website pembelajaran hendaknya menampilkan desain tampilan yang sesuai dengan perkembangan jaman, sistematik, menarik, dan bermanfaat dalam pengembangan kompetensi penggunanya.

Abstract

Various parties, especially parents, can carry out children's education. Education by parents is included in the informal channel. To properly educate children, parents need to receive adequate provisions so that parents can educate and care for their children based on their needs and the development of children. This provision can be provided in various formats, including online training packaged as Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) Parenting. MOOCs Parenting, prepared by the ECE-UT study program team, consists of 6 main topics: child growth and development, healthy eating, the concept of playing in children, playing time, discipline, and effective discipline. For each subject, a discussion space is provided to discuss the topic according to the time allotted. In addition, independent exercises and formative tests are also offered in each case as feedback to participants on the issues raised. At the end of the Moocs session, a competency test was given, which consisted of 20 objective questions that tested participants' mastery of the six previous topics. Participants who actively complete all issues and take competency tests will receive a certificate. In 2022, Moocs parenting has been opened starting in July 2022 and is being attended by 119 participants. Currently, some participants have been able to complete the MOOCs online training and are entitled to a certificate. At the end of the session, a MOOCs evaluation form was also prepared, which was helpful for managers in ECE-UT study programs to make improvements to Moocs Parenting from time to time.Key words: MOOCs, ParentingABSTRAKPendidikan anak dapat dilakukan oleh berbagai pihak, terutama orang tua. Pendidikan oleh orang tua ini termasuk dalam jalur informal. Agar dapat mendidik anak dengan tepat, orang tua perlu mendapat pembekalan yang memadai, agar orang tua dapat mendidik dan mengasuh anaknya berdasarkan kebutuhan dan perkembangan anak. Bekal ini dapat disediakan dalam berbagai format, antara lain melalui pelatihan daring yang dikemas dalam bentuk Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) Parenting. MOOCs Parenting yang disiapkan tim prodi PGPAUD UT terdiri dari 6 topik utama yaitu pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak, makan sehat, konsep bermain pada anak, waktu bermain, disiplin, disiplin efektif. Pada setiap topik disediakan ruang diskusi untuk membahas topik sesuai waktu yang disediakan. Selain itu juga disediakan latihan mandiri dan tes formatif pada tiap topik, sebagai umpan balik pada peserta terhadap topik yang diangkat. Pada akhir sesi MOOCs diberikan uji kompetensi yang terdiri dari 20 soal objektif yang menguji penguasaan peserta terhadap keenam topik sebelumnya. Peserta yang aktif menyelesaikan semua topik dan mengerjakan uji kompetensi akan mendapatkan sertifikat. Pada tahun 2022 ini, MOOCs parenting telah dibuka mulai bulan Juli 2022, dan diikuti 115 peserta. Saat ini, sebagian peserta telah mampu menyelesaikan pelatihan daring MOOCs dan berhak mendapatkan sertifikat. Pada akhir sesi juga disiapkan form evaluasi MOOCs yang berguna bagi pengelola di prodi PGPAUD UT untuk melakukan penyempurnaan MOOCs Parenting ini dari waktu ke waktu.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process and results of increasing initial numeracy in children aged 4-5 through an educational tree counting game at Pelangi Kasih Kindergarten, North Jakarta, in 2023 with six research subjects. This research method is classroom action research, namely the use of qualitative data analysis techniques and quantitative data analysis techniques. Using qualitative data analysis techniques, they collected data through anecdotal notes, observation sheets, and children's worksheets. Data collection and recording were conducted to determine the increase in the percentage ability to start counting in children aged 4-5 years, so quantitative data analysis techniques were used. The results of pre-research data on class A numeracy skills were 49.17%, increasing to 73.6% in cycle one activity and cycle 2 to 89.7%. The conclusion obtained from the research data results is that the counting tree educational game tool is proven to improve early numeracy skills in children aged 4-5 years at Pelangi Kasih Kindergarten, North Jakarta. The implications obtained from the results of this study are natural or concrete early childhood learning processes in learning activities in the classroom. Teachers can motivate children, provide stimulation, provide examples, and conduct question-and-answer activities so that teachers can maximize children's development.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of disciplining children from an early age as a foundation in forming an orderly and responsible society. The consistency of schools and parents in applying discipline to children greatly influences the child's personality in the future. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the school environment and parenting in applying discipline to children at home. This study used a cross-sectional study design which was conducted in four schools in South Tangerang City, Pamulang District and Central Jakarta. The selection of schools was carried out purposively (purposively) based on several considerations, namely (1) schools with more than 100 students each year; (2) public kindergarten and state kindergarten. Furthermore, the sample criteria in this study were kindergarten B class children from selected schools aged 5 to 6 years, two private kindergarten schools and two public kindergarten schools from each school, 30 children were selected, so the total number of samples was 120 children. The type of data used in this research is primary and secondary data. Data analysis used in this research is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The inferential statistical analysis used was the Spearman and Pearson correlation test, as well as the t-test of differences. The results of the study show that there is a significant relationship between parenting styles and the level of discipline of children. Parents who are actively involved in parenting have an impact on activities at school in terms of forming child discipline. Teachers and parents always synergize well in improving child discipline. So that the expectations and goals to be achieved are fulfilled as expected.

Abstract

The ability of Early Childhood Education (ECE) teachers to create instructional materials constitutes one of their pedagogical competencies. This competence entails overseeing the development process, which consists of planning, executing, and evaluating the development process and its outcomes. This article aims to describe the procedure involved in the conception and development of comprehensive game tools (CGT) to enhance the pedagogical competence of ECE teachers. This community service instructs and equips teachers in developing CGTs, conducted in a blended method within six weeks. Specifics of offline materials consist of the following: 1) activity schedule, 2) understanding of the nature of CGTs, 3) product development, 4) revision of results, and 5) product evaluation. Online resources provide instruction on 1) developing and creating designs and 2) constructing comprehensive game tools. Thirty teachers from PAUD Katuk and Asyifa Islamic Kindergarten - South Jakarta were participants. The final product is comprised of 5 CGTs, and the teachers' ability to design and develop CGT is enhanced. Suggestion: CGT development should be conducted under intensive supervision.
