Abstract

This research explores the role of scouting activities in shaping the disciplinary character of students at MIMA Nurul Huda Gondang Rejo. Scouting, as a form of non-formal education, plays a crucial role in instilling values such as faithfulness, nobility, law-abidance, and disci-pline in children and young people. The Ministry of Education and Culture mandates scout-ing activities in schools as a combination of attitudinal values and skills development. The study focuses on scouting activities at MIMA Nurul Huda Gondang Rejo, where scouting be-came a compulsory extracurricular activity in 2017. The extracurricular activities are de-signed to not only develop scouting skills but also to build character, emphasizing politeness, obedience, and discipline. The activities include both indoor and outdoor components, providing students with a holistic learning experience. The research methodology employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing observation, interviews, and documentation to gather primary data. The results highlight the achievements of MIMA Nurul Huda Gondang Rejo scouts, including notable successes in various competitions. Scout coaches play a pivot-al role in implementing activities aligned with the 2013 Curriculum, using learning methods that make the experience enjoyable for students. The study also identifies constraints faced by scouts, such as economic limitations affecting the acquisition of complete attributes. Motiva-tion is found to be positively influenced by external coaches. Despite challenges, the research underscores the importance of discipline character education, emphasizing the need for con-tinuous support from coaches and parents. The internalization of discipline character through scouting activities is evident in students' behaviors, including punctuality, adherence to rules, and completion of tasks on time. While students face difficulties, the coaches' role in providing guidance and motivation is crucial. The research concludes that character education at MI-MA Nurul Huda Gondang Rejo effectively shapes disciplined students, emphasizing the collaborative efforts of coaches and students in creating a conducive learning environment.

Abstract

The existence of issues in the environment of arts and culture material learning activities us-ing musical notation in primary schools is what spurred this research. Researchers created a learning medium based on the Android operating system because these learning activities did not receive positive feedback. 1) The development of augmented reality-based learning materials for fourth-grade elementary schools' arts and crafts classes that explore musical notes. 2) Another goal of this research is to ascertain how media experts and subject matter experts create learning media, and 3) how effective learning media implementation is. The research and development technique was employed in this study, and the end result is a product whose viability has been proven. (1) The design of instructional materials for aug-mented reality employing tools from Adobe Photoshop CC 2021, Adobe XD CC, Blender 3D, Unity 3D, Cubase 12 Pro, and Vuforia SDK (2) The results show that the Augmented Reality learning medium achieves 96.7% (in the small group) and 91.6% (in the big group), showing that it is very effective and well suited for usage as a learning medium. These find-ings led to the conclusion that this arts and crafts learning medium was effective and suita-ble for use as a teaching tool for elementary school fifth graders.

Abstract

This study examines the need for developing a PAI-based digital LKPD to enhance spiritual intelligence among elementary school students at SDN 1 Ubung. Traditional PAI learning materials are less engaging, leading to low student motivation and superficial understanding of religious values. The research adopts a qualitative approach, involving interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal four key issues: (1) lack of interactive features in conventional PAI learning, (2) absence of reflection-based activities, (3) teachers' challenges in integrating technology, and (4) limited accessibility due to internet constraints. This study supports Keller’s ARCS Model, Bloom’s Taxonomy, and Zohar & Marshall’s Spiritual Intelligence Theory, emphasizing interactive, reflective, and accessible learning. The findings suggest that a well-designed digital LKPD can enhance student engagement, critical thinking, and moral development. Future research should explore long-term impacts and effective teacher training strategies for digital Islamic education.

Abstract

This study examines the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) for character building of elementary school students. This study is motivated by the gap between the ideal condition (das sollen) of integrating AI technology in Islamic character building and the reality in the field (das sein) which is still dominated by conventional methods. Using a qualitative approach with a library research method, this study analyzes primary and secondary sources published between 2019-2024 from various scientific databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, and Sinta 1-3. The results show that the integration of AI in PAI learning has a transformative impact, with an increase in student learning motivation and understanding of religious concepts. The developed AI-based adaptive learning model consists of four main components: Islamic Values Integration System (IVIS), Personalized Learning Pathway Generator (PLPG), Character Development Monitoring System (CDMS), and Interactive Feedback Mechanism (IFM). Factors influencing successful implementation include teacher competence (very high influence), technological infrastructure, institutional support, and learning content suitability (high influence). The implementation strategy is developed in three phases: foundation building, phased implementation, and continuous evaluation. This research contributes to the development of an effective Islamic learning methodology by integrating Islamic values and modern technology, and provides a practical framework for educational institutions in implementing AI for Islamic character building of elementary school students.

Abstract

The integration of technology in Islamic Education (PAI) teaching at the elementary school level has become increasingly crucial in the digital era. This study aims to analyze PAI teachers' competency levels in utilizing technology, identify influencing factors, formulate optimization strategies, and develop a sustainable training model. Using a qualitative approach through library research, this study analyzes primary sources from Sinta-accredited national journals and reputable international journals published between 2019-2024, along with relevant secondary sources. The findings reveal that only 35% of PAI teachers demonstrate high technological competence, while 45% show medium competence, and 20% remain in the low category. Key factors affecting technological competence include internal factors (age, teaching experience, and attitudes toward technology) and external factors (infrastructure availability, institutional support, and professional development opportunities). The study proposes a sustainable competency development model comprising four main stages: assessment, training, implementation, and evaluation. This model, supported by adult learning theory, has shown a 60% increase in technology-based PAI learning effectiveness. Recommendations include developing TPACK-based training programs, establishing teacher communities of practice, implementing mentoring systems, improving infrastructure support, and creating comprehensive evaluation systems. The study contributes to the understanding of technological integration in Islamic education and provides practical strategies for enhancing PAI teachers' digital competencies in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of Autoplay Studio in teaching Islamic Religious Education (IRE) at SDN 21 Dauh Puri Denpasar. Using a qualitative approach, the research explores the experiences, perceptions, and challenges faced by teachers and students in integrating digital learning tools. Data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis, then analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The findings indicate that the use of Autoplay Studio enhances student engagement, comprehension of religious concepts, and overall learning effectiveness. Interactive features such as animations and digital quizzes increase student motivation and participation. Teachers reported that digital media simplified complex religious concepts, although challenges related to infrastructure and digital literacy were observed. This study supports multimedia learning and social constructivism theories, which emphasize the importance of interaction and hands-on experiences in education. Despite challenges in adopting digital technology, the findings suggest that Autoplay Studio has the potential to improve the quality of IRE instruction in elementary schools. Key recommendations include enhancing teacher training and digital infrastructure to optimize technology integration in religious education.
