Abstract

Parigi Moutong merupakan salah satu kabupaten pengembangan tanaman pala yang tersebar disetiap kecamatan maupun desa. Daging buah pala sendiri digemari oleh masyarakat jika telah diproses menjadi makanan olahan, misalnya: sirup, asinan pala, manisan pala, selai pala, dodol serta kristal daging buah pala. Dengan melihat potensi yang besar pada tanaman pala tersebut maka dipandang perlu melakukan diversifikasi produk dari buah pala sehingga menghasilkan produk yang lebih beragam dan juga dapat meningkatkan perekonomian petani pala melalui pemberdayaan perempuan yang ada di Desa Kasimbar Barat dengan sentuhan teknologi pengolahan hasil buah pala salah satunya mengolah buah pala dalam bentuk dodol. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini yaitu menganalisis potensi yang dimiliki petani pala dan industri rumah tangga guna memberikan alternatif produk pala pilihan yang bernilai tinggi serta mengkaji prospek pengembangan komoditas unggulan berbasis produk buah pala dan menguntungkan melalui upaya diversifikasi untuk pemberdayaan perempuan di Desa Kasimbar. Metode pelatihan dan penyuluhan dalam kegiatan diversifikasi olahan buah pala dalam memberdayakan perempuan di Desa Kasimbar Barat menggunakan metode ceramah dengan transfer teknologi untuk pemahaman prosedur pengolahan buah pala dengan melakukan demonstrasi pembuatan dodol buah pala sebagai salah satu produk olahan yang memiliki nilai ekonomi yang menjanjikan. Dodol buah pala sebagai pruduk turunan dari buah pala menjadi produk bernilai ekonomi bagi usaha industri rumah tangga khususnya perempuan yang berada di Desa Kasimbar Barat dengan melakukan pendampingan dalam memantau penguasaan teknologi pengolahan dan keberlanjutan industri rumah tangga.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendapatkan dosis pupuk NPK yang tepat dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman padi gogo. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Pusat Pengembangan dan Penelitian Padi Gogo Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Tadulako, Dusun Kalama, Desa Tamarenja, Kecamatan Sindue Tobata, Kabupaten Donggala pada LS 00o26’51.4” BT 119o49’50.5, dengan ketinggian tempat 230 mdpl. Waktu penelitian dimulai dari bulan November sampai Maret 2021. Penelitian ini disusun menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan dosis pupuk NPK Majemuk pebagai perlakuan: Tanpa NPK, dosis 100 kg/ha, 200 kg/ha, 300 kg/ha, 400 kg/ha, 500 kg/ha, dan 600 kg/ha. Perlakuan ini diulang sebanyak 4 kali sehingga terdapat 28 unit percobaan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis varian yang kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji BNT taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk NPK dosis 400 kg ha-1 nyata meningkatkan hasil prouksi padi gogo dengan ditandai adanya peningkatan jumlah anakan, jumlah anakan produktif, dan produksi gabah.

Abstract

Data in 2012 explained that Indonesia had dry land about 148 million ha (78%) and wetland by 40.20 million ha (22%) out of 188.20 million ha of the total land area. The variety of rice which can grow and produce well on marginal land such as gogo rice is very indispensable. This research aimed to find the gogo rice cultivars that can germinate normally in particular osmotic pressure and the tolerance limit on the drought by using PEG 6000 solution. The research was prepared with two-factor factorial design by using Completely Randomized Design. The first factor consisted of three gogo rice cultivars, namely 1. siang, 2. Pulut ko, and 3. roda, while the second factor consisted of four treatments, namely 1. water as control of 2. -1 bar, 3. -2 bar, and 4. -3 bar.Thus, there were 12 combinations of treatment in which each treatment was repeated four times. In the experiment Rolled Paper placed in plastic test method was used in which there were 50 items in each experiment unit.The variable observed was potential for growth, percentage of germination, and germination rate. The research findings reveal that the three cultivars were able to germinate normally only up to -1 bar osmotic pressure, while the pulut cultivar had higher germination capacity compared with siang and roda cultivars up to -3 bar PEG 6000 osmotic pressure. Siang cultivar and -1 bar osmotic pressure gave potential for growth, germination capacity, and germination rate.

Abstract

Production and management technologies are needed to produce great seeds. This study aims to obtain the location and length of time to store upland rice seeds. The study was conducted in Tamarenja and Kalukubula villages. Germination testing was carried out at the Seed Science and Technology Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture from May to December 2019. The seeds used were newly harvested seeds from the field. The treatment used a randomized two-factor block design. The first factor was storage locations: indoor Tamarenja, outdoor Tamarenja, indoor Kalukubula and outdoor Tamarenja. The second factor consisted of two storage times, namely: one month and two months. The treatments repeated six times, so there were 48 experimental units where each experimental unit contains 50 seeds, and the whole seeds used were 2,400. Data analysis used Fisher's test and continued with 1% Tukey’s HSD test. The results showed that the best storage location was in Kalukubula, both outdoors and indoors. The best storage time was two months. Those produced the highest germination capacity and growth potential and faster germination time, percentage of moldy seeds, and moldy sprouts.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effects of swallow bird droppings bokashi on several soil chemical properties such as pH, C-Organic, N, P, K, CEC, and to determine the appropriate dosage of bokashi fertilizer for the growth of ebony seedlings. This research was conducted at Permanent Nursery located at Tadulako University. This study was conducted using a completely randomized design with 5 treatments and 4 replications, 20 experimental units as: P0 (control), P1 (7 tons/ha), P2 (14 tons/ha), P3 (21 tons/ha), and P4 (28 tons/ha). The results showed that the swallow droppings bokashi fertilizer was able to improve: soil pH 7.18 to 7.55 with a neutral status, P from 41.34 to 65.06 with very high status, K from 46.26 to 53.87 with high status, C-Organic from 5.30 to 10.25 with high to very high status, and N-Total from 0.12 to 0.34 although in low status in the soil. The application of swallow droppings bokashi into the soil was very much needed. C-Organic content in swallow droppings bokashi was 50.23%, N (4.26). The application of swallow droppings bokashi with a treatment of 21 tons/ha (61.25 g/pot) was the best dose for the growth (height) and the increase number of leaves of ebony seedlings.

Abstract

Dormancy is one of the obstacles in cultivating zalacca plants which have hard skin and seeds making them difficult to grow. Soaking using growth hormones is an alternative for growing seeds well. This research aims to determine the concentration of Gibberellin and determine the appropriate length of soaking time for Gibberellin (GA3) in germinating zalacca seeds. The research was carried out at the Seed Science and Technology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Tadulako University, Palu in January - February 2023 using a Completely Randomized Design with a factorial pattern. The first factor is the Gibberellin’s concentration which consists of 40, 60, and 80 ppm. The second factor was the length of Gibberellin’s soaking time which consists of 15, 55, and 95 minutes so that 9 treatment combinations were obtained which were repeated three times to obtain 27 experimental units. Each experiment used 20 seeds, therefore 540 zalacca seeds were needed, with 5 samples per experimental unit. The results show that gibberellin concentrations of 60 ppm and 80 ppm and soaking times of 55 and 95 minutes were treatments that provided good growth in germination capacity, germination time, plumule length, radicle length and dry weight of zalacca seed sprouts

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah untuk mengetahui kevalidan Lembar kerja Peserta didik untuk digunakan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development menggunakan model 4D yaitu define, design, developement, desseminate. Kegiatan yang dilakukan  pada tahap uji validitas Lembar Kerja Peserta didik kepada 3 orang ahli yaitu, Ahli Materi KeSDan dengan nilai validasi 3,30, ahli Tata Bahasa dengan nilai validasi 2,75, dan Ahli desain dengan nilai validasi 3,50. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai yang diperoleh dari validator sebesar 3,18 (Sangat Valid) hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Lembar Kerja Peserta didik sangat layak untuk digunakan). Pada tahap Praktikalitas Lembar kerja peserta didik dinilai oleh 1 orang Pendidik yaitu 3,66 (Sangat Praktis) dan 5 orang Pesrta Didik 3,75 (Sangat Praktis). Kesimpulannya Lembar kerja peserta didik Tematik Terpadu Menggunakan Model Tihnk Pair and Share valid dan praktis digunakan digunakan pada kelas V Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Stunting in children is still a major challenge in Indonesia, including in rural areas such as Sidera Village, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi. The Thematic Community Service Program (KKN) on Stunting aims to assist the government's efforts to accelerate the reduction in stunting rates by providing the community with education related to stunting prevention. Through this KKN, Tadulako University students are involved in activities integrating the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, especially in community service and student competency development. The methods included field observation, direct education, and collaboration with local health counsellors. Observations are carried out to identify factors that cause stunting, such as environmental conditions and nutritional parenting patterns in children. Counselling provides education on the importance of nutritional intake, environmental cleanliness, and healthy eating patterns as preventive measures. The results of the activities show an increase in community knowledge about the causes of stunting and intervention steps that can be taken to reduce the risk of stunting. In conclusion, this program has succeeded in increasing awareness in the Sidera Village community about the importance of stunting prevention. It is expected to be an effective education model for other areas. Stunting pada anak masih menjadi tantangan besar di Indonesia, termasuk di wilayah pedesaan seperti Desa Sidera, Kabupaten Sigi, Sulawesi Tengah. Program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Tematik Stunting bertujuan membantu upaya pemerintah dalam percepatan penurunan angka stunting dengan memberikan edukasi terkait pencegahan stunting kepada masyarakat. Melalui KKN ini, mahasiswa Universitas Tadulako terlibat dalam serangkaian kegiatan yang mengintegrasikan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, khususnya dalam bidang pengabdian masyarakat dan pengembangan kompetensi mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan mencakup observasi lapangan, edukasi langsung, serta kolaborasi dengan penyuluh kesehatan setempat. Observasi dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor penyebab stunting, seperti kondisi lingkungan dan pola asuh gizi pada anak. Edukasi diberikan dalam bentuk penyuluhan tentang pentingnya asupan gizi, kebersihan lingkungan, dan pola makan sehat sebagai langkah preventif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai penyebab stunting serta langkah- langkah intervensi yang dapat dilakukan untuk menurunkan risiko stunting. Kesimpulannya, program ini berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat Desa Sidera tentang pentingnya pencegahan stunting dan diharapkan dapat menjadi model edukasi yang efektif bagi wilayah lainnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dosis inokulasi Rhizobium japonicum yang tepat dan varietas yang lebih baik pada pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kedelai. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kebun Akademik Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Tadulako di Kelurahan Tondo, Kecamatan Mantikolore, Kota Palu, pada Bulan Agustus sampai November 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) pola faktorial yang terdiri dari dua faktor. Faktor pertama adalah inokulasi R. japonicum, terdiri dari tiga level (tanpa inokulasi R. japonicum, 5 g R. japonicum kg-1 benih, dan 10 g R. japonicum kg-1 benih). Faktor kedua adalah varietas terdiri dari dua (Varietas Dering dan Dena). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya interaksi antara varietas dan R. japonicumditunjukkan pada perlakuan Varietas Dena dengan dosis 10 g kg-1 benih menghasilkan jumlah polong tertinggi 88,5 dan perlakuan Varietas Dering dengan dosis 5 g kg-1 benih menghasilkan bobot biji per tanaman tertinggi 8,85 g. Varietas Dering cenderung memberikan hasil lebih baik di bandingkan dengan varietas Dena terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil kedelai. Inokulasi R. japonicum dengan dosis 10 g kg-1 benih memberikan hasil terbaik dibandingkan dengan dosis yang lain dalam mempengaruhi pertumbuhan dan hasil kedelai.
