Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes through the use of Quartet Card media in Pancasila Education Subjects, Pancasila Practice Material for Class II SD Magersari. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK). The subjects of this research were 36 class II students at Magersari Elementary School, consisting of 22 male students and 14 female students. This research was carried out in two action cycles. The implementation stages of cycle 1 were carried out in two meetings and cycle 2 was carried out in two meetings. Data collection was carried out using learning results tests and observation sheets. The data that has been collected is then analyzed qualitatively. The results of the research show that the use of quartet card media can increase interest in learning about Pancasila Education for class II students at SDN Magersari seen from the results of tests carried out in two cycles which show very good results with classical learning completion in cycle I reaching a percentage of 55.5% out of a total of 36 students in one class and cycle II reached a percentage of 83.3% of the total of 36 students. In order to achieve very good qualifications, it can be concluded that using the quartet card learning media can increase the learning interest of class II students at Magersari Elementary School.

Abstract

Sesuatu yang tidak dapat dihindari di dunia ini adalah kemajuan dari teknologi, yang dimana kemajuan teknologi itu sendiri berjalan sesuai dengan berkembangnya ilmu pengetahuan manusia. Teknologi dibagi menjadi beberapa bagian seperti teknologi transportasi, informasi, komunikasi, medis dan konstruksi. Pengabdian masyarakat di Desa Berbek ditemukan beberapa kekurangan dari teknologi informasi. Pertama, tidak adanya website pribadi milik desa. Kedua, kurang adanya minat serta pengetahuan pemuda Berbek terhadap desain grafis. Metode pelaksanaan program pembuatan website yaitu menggunakan langkah wawancara dengan perangkat desa, pihak IT mengenai konsep web yang akan dibuat dan berbagai informasi yang akan dimasukkan dalam website. Kedua, Pelatihan pengenalan desain grafis diikuti oleh 15 peserta, yang menggunakan metode ceramah, tanya jawab, berdiskusi kepada peserta mengenai berbagai macam desain dan praktik. Something unavoidable in this world is the progress of technology, where the progress of technology itself goes according to the development of human science. Technology is divided into several sections: transportation, information, communication, medical and construction technology. Community service in Berbek Village found several deficiencies in information technology: There is no village-owned personal website. There needs to be more interest and knowledge of Berbek youth in graphic design. The method of implementing the website creation program is using interviews with village officials and IT regarding the web concept that will be created and various information that will be included on the website. The Graphic Design Introduction Training was attended by 15 participants, who used the lecture, question and answer method, discussing various designs and practices with participants.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini berfokus pada peran ikon desa di Desa Gisik Cemandi, Kecamatan Sedati, Kabupaten Sidoarjo, dalam mempromosikan budaya lokal dan pembangunan komunitas. Ikon desa yang merupakan tokoh penting dan berpengaruh dalam masyarakat, berperan dalam menjaga dan mengembangkan tradisi serta nilai-nilai lokal. Metode penelitian meliputi antropologi budaya dan sosiologi, dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa ikon desa sangat penting dalam mempertahankan tradisi budaya, memfasilitasi kerjasama komunitas, dan berperan aktif dalam inisiatif pembangunan. Ikon desa menjadi penghubung antara masyarakat desa, pemerintah, dan pihak lain, serta membantu meningkatkan semangat gotong royong dan partisipasi warga. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang peran ikon desa sebagai agen perubahan dan dapat membantu mengembangkan strategi pembangunan yang lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan. This community service focuses on the role of village icons in Gisik Cemandi Village, Sedati District, and Sidoarjo Regency in promoting local culture and community development. Village icons who are important and influential societal figures play a role in maintaining and developing local traditions and values. Research methods include cultural anthropology and sociology, with data collection through interviews, observation, and document analysis. The results show that village icons are important in maintaining cultural traditions, facilitating community collaboration, and playing an active role in development initiatives. Village icons link village communities, the government, and other parties and help increase the spirit of cooperation and citizen participation. This research provides insight into the role of village icons as agents of change and can help develop more effective and sustainable development strategies.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan menjelaskan kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis proyek untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) yang dikembangkan oleh Robert Maribe Branch. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakam observasi, angket dan tes. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) hasil validasi LKPD memperoleh nilai 3,75 dengan kategori sangat valid, hasil validasi materi 3,78 dengan kategori sangat valid, validasi RPP memperoleh nilai 3,73 dengan kategori sangat valid, dan lembar tes hasil belajar memperoleh nilai 3,56 dengan kategori sangat valid; (2) hasil kepraktisan dari keterlaksanaan pembelajaran pertemuan I memperoleh persentase 75% dan pertemuan II memperoleh persentase 94% dengan kategori terlaksana baik, sedangkan aktivitas anak pertemuan I memperoleh persentase 77% dan pertemuan II memperoleh persentase 94% dengan kategori aktif dan hasil angket penilaian guru memperoleh rata-rata persentase 97%; (3) hasil keefektifan dari lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis proyek yang dikembangkan memperoleh nilai n-gain 0,67 dengan kategori sedang. Kesimpulan dari lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis proyek yang dikembangkan pada materi siklus air valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This research aims to improve learning achievement on the material of identifying soil types through a contextual approach for class V students at SDN Magersari Sidoarjo. The method used is the classroom action research method, the research was conducted at SDN Magersari Sidoarjo. The subjects used in this research were class V with a total of 27 students consisting of 16 boys and 11 girls. The results of the research show that from cycle completeness, the pre-action activities obtained a class average score of 64.07 with classical completeness of 62%, increasing in cycle 11 to 72.59 with classical completeness of 70%. The average class score in cycle 2 was 81.85 with classical completeness of 81%. The conclusion of this research is that a contextual approach to the material on identifying class V soil types at SDN Magersari can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Students from elementary school are expected to have good language skills because language is the most critical human capital. Speaking is an act carried out by every human being in togetherness with other humans to communicate. Language as a means of communication can be in the form of spoken language or written language. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the field trip method on elementary school student's ability to write descriptive paragraphs. The research carried out in this research is quantitative research. The method used in the research was quasi-experimental with a nonequivalent research design (pretest and posttest) control group design. The research sample consisted of 62 students consisting of 31 class IIIA students as the control class and 31 class IIIB students as the experimental class. Data was collected using test sheets to determine student learning outcomes. The data analysis used was a t-test analysis with a significance level of 5%. The research results show significant effectiveness in the ability to write descriptive paragraphs. Field trips for elementary school children can be used to expand the information obtained in class, providing experience regarding existing realities. Thus, the field trip method is effectively used to learn to write descriptive paragraphs and can be a solution for teachers experiencing similar learning obstacles.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Fry readability-based digital storybooks on reading comprehension skills among elementary school students. The method used in this study was an experimental research design with a pretest-posttest control group design to measure students’ reading comprehension skills. The sample of this study was fourth-grade elementary school students. Data were collected through reading comprehension skills test sheets and analyzed using descriptive and statistical analysis to assess the extent to which the variables being studied align with the predetermined benchmarks. The results showed that digital storybooks based on Fry's graph readability are effective in improving the reading comprehension skills of fourth-grade elementary school students as evidenced by the n-gain test results, where the experimental class (medium) had higher scores than the control class (low). Based on the t-test, it has a significant effect with a calculated t-value greater than the table t-value. These findings show that books designed according to the grade level of students have an impact on reading comprehension skills, and the integration of digital technology in book development can attract students' attention to read with full understanding.

Abstract

This article discusses the role of interactive media in learning Natural and Social Sciences (ESS) for grade 4 students through literature study method. The research shows that interactive media, such as videos, digital simulations and technology-based quizzes, can improve the quality of learning by making the learning process more dynamic, interesting and effective. It facilitates students' understanding of complex concepts, increases learning motivation, and supports project-based learning that is relevant to the IPAS curriculum. In addition, interactive media creates a collaborative learning environment, provides flexibility in learning time, and provides real-time formative feedback. However, the implementation of this media faces challenges such as limited technological infrastructure and lack of teacher training. To overcome these obstacles, collaboration between the government, schools and related parties is needed. With the right support, interactive media can help students develop 21st century skills, such as critical thinking, collaboration and digital literacy. This article concludes that interactive media has an important role in improving the effectiveness of IPAS learning, making it more relevant and in line with the needs of the digital era.

Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning achievement as an effort to achieve competency through the development of learning media in social science material at MINU KH. Mukmin Sidoarjo in grade V and aims to design and develop Panasia (Map of Flora and Fauna in Indonesia) learning media in social science material for grade V at MINU KH. Mukmin Sidoarjo. The type of this research is development research in the form of a 4-D model which is carried out through 4 stages, namely defining, designing, developing and disseminating, but the researcher did not reach the fourth stage because there is no distribution, but it is implemented in a school. The object of this research is grade V students in social science material with the aim of optimizing learning for teachers and students at MINU KH. Mukmin Sidoarjo. The results of this research show that Panasia learning media has a very big influence on the student learning process as seen from the validation results of media experts and material experts. Media expert validation was 84% ​​and material expert validation was 91%, as well as the product trials carried out by researcher at schools from the teacher response questionnaire results was 84% ​​and students response questionnaire results were 86.6%. The results of this research show that Panasia learning media is very suitable for use in supporting the learning system in schools in order to make it will be better.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana menggabungkan penghargaan dan hukuman ke dalam model pembelajaran jigsaw memengaruhi motivasi untuk belajar sains. Menggunakan model pembelajaran jigsaw dengan penguatan dan strategi berbasis penguatan akan memotivasi siswa untuk belajar sains dalam konteks Mengenal Peta dan Rencana untuk Pendidikan Dasar Kelas IV, menurut hipotesis penelitian. Karena kurangnya kontrol yang sebanding (tes pra dan pasca), metode yang digunakan adalah desain kuasi-eksperimental. Enam puluh siswa kelas empat menjadi sampel untuk penelitian ini. Alat yang digunakan adalah kuesioner motivasi belajar 25 pertanyaan yang merinci fitur dan kemampuan alat tersebut. Uji-t digunakan untuk analisis data. Dengan tingkat signifikansi 5% dari 0,05 dan nilai tanda signifikan (2-tailed) sebesar 0,007, hasil uji-t menunjukkan bahwa ada dampak yang signifikan terhadap keinginan siswa untuk belajar sains. Jika terdapat 1.672 individu (N = 60) dalam tabel dan nilai t diprediksi sebesar 7,750.
