Abstract

This research is motivated by the low critical thinking skills of students, as evidenced by low learning outcomes and students who are less actively involved in learning. This study aims to analyze the influence of the Prediction, Observation, Explanation (POE) learning model on the critical thinking skills of the material on the properties of light in the Natural and Social Sciences subject of students at SDN Tanjungsari 1 for one week. The sample of this research was class B as the experimental class and class A totaling 21 as the control class. Type of Quasi Experimental research with Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. The data collection technique used in this study is a test. This research instrument uses 7 questions to adjust the critical thinking indicators and teacher observation sheets. Based on the data analysis, it can be seen that there is an influence of the POE learning model on the critical thinking skills of students at SDN Tanjungsari 1. This is evidenced by the results of the t-test analysis at a significance level of 5% obtained a sig value of 2 tailed 0.014 <0.05 and tcount 2.579 and ttable 2.483 so it can be concluded that 2.579> 2.483 or tcount> ttable then Ha is accepted. Thus, the POE model is an alternative solution in improving the critical thinking skills of students in the material on the properties of light in class V SDN Tanjungsari 1.

Abstract

Pembelajaran interaktif yang didukung oleh teknologi AI diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, mempersonalisasi materi pembelajaran, dan menghasilkan pengalaman belajar yang lebih efektif dan menyenangkan. Pelatihan ini mencakup teori dasar mengenai teknologi AI dan aplikasinya dalam konteks pendidikan, diikuti dengan sesi praktik yang memperkenalkan berbagai alat dan aplikasi berbasis AI yang dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Peserta dilatih untuk memanfaatkan teknologi AI dalam merancang materi pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif, membuat evaluasi otomatis, serta menggunakan AI untuk analisis data belajar siswa. Sesi praktik langsung memungkinkan para peserta untuk mengembangkan keterampilan yang diperlukan untuk mengimplementasikan teknologi ini dalam kelas mereka. Meskipun demikian, terdapat beberapa faktor penghambat, antara lain keterbatasan pengalaman teknologi pada sebagian peserta dan terbatasnya fasilitas teknologi di beberapa sekolah. Faktor pendukung yang turut berperan dalam keberhasilan pelatihan ini adalah tingginya antusiasme peserta, keterlibatan aktif pemateri, serta ketersediaan fasilitas yang mendukung selama pelatihan. Secara keseluruhan, pelatihan ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam memperkenalkan penggunaan AI dalam pendidikan dasar, dan diharapkan dapat mendorong penerapan teknologi ini di kelas untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran. Interactive learning supported by AI technology is expected to increase student engagement, personalize learning materials, and produce a more effective and enjoyable learning experience. This training covered basic theory regarding AI technology and its applications in educational contexts, followed by practical sessions that introduced various AI-based tools and applications that can be used in the learning process. Participants were trained to utilize AI technology to design more interactive learning materials, create automated evaluations, and use AI for analyzing student learning data. The hands-on practical sessions enabled participants to develop the skills necessary to implement this technology in their classrooms. However, several inhibiting factors existed, including limited technological experience among some participants and limited technology facilities in some schools. Supporting factors that contributed to the success of this training were the high enthusiasm of the participants, the active involvement of the presenters, and the availability of supportive facilities during the training. Overall, this training made a positive contribution to introducing the use of AI in elementary education and is expected to encourage the implementation of this technology in the classroom to improve the quality of the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning model assisted by Literacy Cloud on the early reading skills of first-grade students in Indonesian language subjects at SDN Ganting. The research employed a quantitative approach using a Quasi-Experimental Design. The subjects consisted of 22 students from class II A as the pilot group, 26 students from class I B as the experimental group, 27 students from class I A as the control group, and the classroom teacher as the facilitator. Based on the results obtained at SDN Ganting through an independent sample t-test, the significance value (2-tailed) was 0.000, which is less than 0.05, and the calculated t-value (5.115) was greater than the critical t-value (1.675) at the 5% significance level. These findings indicate that the NHT learning model assisted by Literacy Cloud has a significant impact on students’ early reading skills in Indonesian language learning. Therefore, this study supports the enhancement of students’ early reading abilities through a fun and interactive learning environment.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana menggabungkan penghargaan dan hukuman ke dalam model pembelajaran jigsaw memengaruhi motivasi untuk belajar sains. Menggunakan model pembelajaran jigsaw dengan penguatan dan strategi berbasis penguatan akan memotivasi siswa untuk belajar sains dalam konteks Mengenal Peta dan Rencana untuk Pendidikan Dasar Kelas IV, menurut hipotesis penelitian. Karena kurangnya kontrol yang sebanding (tes pra dan pasca), metode yang digunakan adalah desain kuasi-eksperimental. Enam puluh siswa kelas empat menjadi sampel untuk penelitian ini. Alat yang digunakan adalah kuesioner motivasi belajar 25 pertanyaan yang merinci fitur dan kemampuan alat tersebut. Uji-t digunakan untuk analisis data. Dengan tingkat signifikansi 5% dari 0,05 dan nilai tanda signifikan (2-tailed) sebesar 0,007, hasil uji-t menunjukkan bahwa ada dampak yang signifikan terhadap keinginan siswa untuk belajar sains. Jika terdapat 1.672 individu (N = 60) dalam tabel dan nilai t diprediksi sebesar 7,750.

Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning achievement as an effort to achieve competency through the development of learning media in social science material at MINU KH. Mukmin Sidoarjo in grade V and aims to design and develop Panasia (Map of Flora and Fauna in Indonesia) learning media in social science material for grade V at MINU KH. Mukmin Sidoarjo. The type of this research is development research in the form of a 4-D model which is carried out through 4 stages, namely defining, designing, developing and disseminating, but the researcher did not reach the fourth stage because there is no distribution, but it is implemented in a school. The object of this research is grade V students in social science material with the aim of optimizing learning for teachers and students at MINU KH. Mukmin Sidoarjo. The results of this research show that Panasia learning media has a very big influence on the student learning process as seen from the validation results of media experts and material experts. Media expert validation was 84% ​​and material expert validation was 91%, as well as the product trials carried out by researcher at schools from the teacher response questionnaire results was 84% ​​and students response questionnaire results were 86.6%. The results of this research show that Panasia learning media is very suitable for use in supporting the learning system in schools in order to make it will be better.

Abstract

Sesuatu yang tidak dapat dihindari di dunia ini adalah kemajuan dari teknologi, yang dimana kemajuan teknologi itu sendiri berjalan sesuai dengan berkembangnya ilmu pengetahuan manusia. Teknologi dibagi menjadi beberapa bagian seperti teknologi transportasi, informasi, komunikasi, medis dan konstruksi. Pengabdian masyarakat di Desa Berbek ditemukan beberapa kekurangan dari teknologi informasi. Pertama, tidak adanya website pribadi milik desa. Kedua, kurang adanya minat serta pengetahuan pemuda Berbek terhadap desain grafis. Metode pelaksanaan program pembuatan website yaitu menggunakan langkah wawancara dengan perangkat desa, pihak IT mengenai konsep web yang akan dibuat dan berbagai informasi yang akan dimasukkan dalam website. Kedua, Pelatihan pengenalan desain grafis diikuti oleh 15 peserta, yang menggunakan metode ceramah, tanya jawab, berdiskusi kepada peserta mengenai berbagai macam desain dan praktik. Something unavoidable in this world is the progress of technology, where the progress of technology itself goes according to the development of human science. Technology is divided into several sections: transportation, information, communication, medical and construction technology. Community service in Berbek Village found several deficiencies in information technology: There is no village-owned personal website. There needs to be more interest and knowledge of Berbek youth in graphic design. The method of implementing the website creation program is using interviews with village officials and IT regarding the web concept that will be created and various information that will be included on the website. The Graphic Design Introduction Training was attended by 15 participants, who used the lecture, question and answer method, discussing various designs and practices with participants.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini berfokus pada peran ikon desa di Desa Gisik Cemandi, Kecamatan Sedati, Kabupaten Sidoarjo, dalam mempromosikan budaya lokal dan pembangunan komunitas. Ikon desa yang merupakan tokoh penting dan berpengaruh dalam masyarakat, berperan dalam menjaga dan mengembangkan tradisi serta nilai-nilai lokal. Metode penelitian meliputi antropologi budaya dan sosiologi, dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa ikon desa sangat penting dalam mempertahankan tradisi budaya, memfasilitasi kerjasama komunitas, dan berperan aktif dalam inisiatif pembangunan. Ikon desa menjadi penghubung antara masyarakat desa, pemerintah, dan pihak lain, serta membantu meningkatkan semangat gotong royong dan partisipasi warga. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang peran ikon desa sebagai agen perubahan dan dapat membantu mengembangkan strategi pembangunan yang lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan. This community service focuses on the role of village icons in Gisik Cemandi Village, Sedati District, and Sidoarjo Regency in promoting local culture and community development. Village icons who are important and influential societal figures play a role in maintaining and developing local traditions and values. Research methods include cultural anthropology and sociology, with data collection through interviews, observation, and document analysis. The results show that village icons are important in maintaining cultural traditions, facilitating community collaboration, and playing an active role in development initiatives. Village icons link village communities, the government, and other parties and help increase the spirit of cooperation and citizen participation. This research provides insight into the role of village icons as agents of change and can help develop more effective and sustainable development strategies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan integrasi kearifan lokal Sidoarjo dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) guna menumbuhkan sikap nasionalisme dan keterampilan sosial siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Subjek penelitian meliputi guru kelas V dan siswa di salah satu sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru berhasil mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal, seperti tradisi Nyadran, Larung Sesaji, Batik Jetis, dan aktivitas ekonomi tambak bandeng serta udang ke dalam materi IPS. Integrasi ini membuat pembelajaran lebih kontekstual, menarik, dan relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari siswa. Dampaknya, sikap nasionalisme siswa berkembang melalui peningkatan cinta tanah air, penghargaan terhadap budaya bangsa, kebanggaan sebagai bagian dari bangsa Indonesia, kesadaran bela negara, dan ketaatan pada aturan bersama. Selain itu, keterampilan sosial siswa juga mengalami peningkatan. Hal ini tampak dari kemampuan komunikasi, kerja sama, empati, toleransi, tanggung jawab, dan pemecahan masalah sosial yang semakin baik melalui kegiatan diskusi, kerja kelompok, serta simulasi berbasis kearifan lokal. Dengan demikian, integrasi kearifan lokal dalam pembelajaran IPS tidak hanya memperkuat penguasaan materi akademik, tetapi juga menjadi sarana efektif dalam pembentukan karakter siswa. Simpulan dari penelitian dinyatakan bahwa pembelajaran IPS berbasis kearifan lokal Sidoarj o dapat dijadikan strategi inovatif untuk menumbuhkan nasionalisme dan keterampilan sosial sejak dini. Abstract This research aims to describe the integration of Sidoarjo local wisdom in social studies learning to foster nationalism and social skills in fifth-grade elementary school students. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The research subjects included fifth-grade teachers and students at an elementary school in Sidoarjo Regency. The results showed that teachers successfully integrated local wisdom, such as the Nyadran tradition, Larung Sesaji, Batik Jetis, and the economic activities of milkfish and shrimp ponds into the IPS material. This integration made learning more contextual, interesting, and relevant to students' daily lives. As a result, students' nationalism developed through increased love for the homeland, appreciation for national culture, pride as part of the Indonesian nation, awareness of national defense, and obedience to shared rules. In addition, students' social skills also improved. This is evident in the increasingly better communication, cooperation, empathy, tolerance, responsibility, and social problem-solving skills through discussions, group work, and simulations based on local wisdom. Thus, the integration of local wisdom into social studies learning not only strengthens academic mastery but also serves as an effective means of character building for students. The study concluded that social studies learning based on local wisdom in Sidoarjo can be used as an innovative strategy to foster nationalism and social skills from an early age.

Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes through the use of Quartet Card media in Pancasila Education Subjects, Pancasila Practice Material for Class II SD Magersari. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK). The subjects of this research were 36 class II students at Magersari Elementary School, consisting of 22 male students and 14 female students. This research was carried out in two action cycles. The implementation stages of cycle 1 were carried out in two meetings and cycle 2 was carried out in two meetings. Data collection was carried out using learning results tests and observation sheets. The data that has been collected is then analyzed qualitatively. The results of the research show that the use of quartet card media can increase interest in learning about Pancasila Education for class II students at SDN Magersari seen from the results of tests carried out in two cycles which show very good results with classical learning completion in cycle I reaching a percentage of 55.5% out of a total of 36 students in one class and cycle II reached a percentage of 83.3% of the total of 36 students. In order to achieve very good qualifications, it can be concluded that using the quartet card learning media can increase the learning interest of class II students at Magersari Elementary School.
