Abstract

Masalah yang dihadapi tentang proses penilaian di seolah dimana guru cenderung memberikan soal dengan tingkatan kognitif rendah dan jawaban singkat, sehingga kurang diperhatikannya keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan instrumen penilaian keterampilan berpikir kritis pembelajaran IPA  kelas 4 SD. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah desain penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Subjek penelitian ini adalah Intrument penilain keterampilan berpikir Kritis.  Hasil analisis pada 15 butir soal uraian validitas menurut review para ahli diperoleh hasil yang baik. Berdasarkan hasil validasi dari pakar materi dinyatakan valid dan kelayakan mencapai angka 77%. Hasil validasi pakar instrumen dinyatakan valid dan kelayakan mencapai angka 70,5%. Sedangkan hasil validasi pakar bahasa mencapai angka 75,5%.  Instrumen peniliaian yang telah dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini dinyatakan valid dan dapat digunakan sebagai penilaian keterampilan berpikir kritis IPA untuk siswa kelas 4 SD.

Abstract

The science process skill is important for teachers. However, not all of the student teachers have the competency, experience, and passion to science. The students of PGSD UKSW come from many kinds of background of middle schools that makes them have some different experiences in science competencies. The specific identification is needed to compare their science understanding/ comprehension. Their daily menu (diet) is the proper way to identify the students’ science understanding, because it is an activity that all people have done. The purpose of this research is to identify the students’ science comprehension through daily consumption patterns based on Home Science Process Skill (HSPS), modified from the science process skill steps used at home. HSPS has some advantages, as it makes the student enjoy their science learning and find the basic of knowledge from daily life. The survey methodology was used to find detailed facts about the level of science understanding. The data triangulation were gathered through questionnaires, interviews, and observations, that describe HSPS indicators, consisting of: scrutiny, note down, try out, create, tell (cermati, catat, coba, cipta, cerita). The results showed that 74.07% of the students encounter difficulty especially in the create phase, in which they have to try and create scientific products. It was also found that the highest difficulty was at the the try out and create phase. Thus, the level of student science understanding is still low. The conclusion is an initial stage of an action research to increase every HSPS indicators achievements.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media komiksebagai media pembelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada materi perubahan lingkungan fisik terhadap daratan kelas 4 SD. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research  and Development (RnD) dan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Model pengembangan ADDIE memiliki tahapan Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation dan Evaluation. Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 37 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa uji pakar/validasi pakar, tes, nontes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan produk yang dihasilkan: (1) Media komik Menemukan Perubahan Lingkungan disekitarku berdasarkan model pembelajaran discovery learning. (2) Kevalidan media komik ditunjukkan dengan hasil uji ahli/uji pakar materi dan media. Pada uji pakar materi diperoleh skor 76% dan pada uji ahli/ pakar media diperoleh skor 88% dengan kategori sangat baik. Keefektifan media komik ditunjukkan dengan hasil angket respon siswa diperoleh dengan skor 90% dan angket respon guru diperoleh skor 82% dengan kategori sangat baik. (3) Hasil belajar  kognitif terdapat peningkatan dari 60,54 menjadi 81,08.

Abstract

AbstrakGuru telah menjadi salah satu profesi yang menjanjikan dan banyak diminati belakangan ini. Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) adalah cara pemerintah melakukan seleksi dan pembinaan guru profesional yang mampu mendukung tercapainya tujuan pendidikan nasional. Namun, terdapat beberapa ketidaksesuaian perencanaan dan pelaksanaan program PPG. Diperlukan evaluasi diri yang dapat menganalisis program PPG Prajabatan Besubsidi. Hasil analisis evaluasi diri mahasiswa PPG akan mampu mengidentifikasi masalah yang terjadi secara nyata hingga pada akhirnya dapat menunjang perbaikan program.Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode survei menyeluruh. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survei online menggunakan google form dengan indikator evaluasi diri mahasiswa tentang analisis kurikulum PPG Prajabatan. Indikator dikembangkan dari Panduan PPG 2017 sebagai bagian dari prinsip penjaminan mutu program. Hasil analisis evaluasi diri mahasiswa PPG Prajabatan Bersubsidi Guru Kelas SD UKSW adalah: 1) terdapat 78,2% mahasiswa yang belum memahami dengan jelas kelengkapan kurikulum PPG Prajabatan yang ada; 2) sebesar 52,7% mahasiswa bingung dalam memahami regulasi kurikulum PPG; 3) baru 40% mahasiswa berhasil memahami isi undang-undang yang berkaitan dengan guru professional Indonesia; 4) sebesar 65,5% mahasiswa aktif dalam membahas tentang arah perkembangan guru professional Indonesia. Tulisan ini sebagai langkah awal untuk melakukan penelitian lebih lanjut yang terkait dengan analisis kurikulum PPG Prajabatan.Kata kunci: evaluasi diri, pendidikan profesi guruAbstractTeachers have become one of the interesting professions lately. Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) is the way the government conducts selection and fostering professional teachers who are able to support the achievement of national education goals. However, there are some discrepancies in the planning and implementation of the PPG program. Self-evaluation is needed which can analyze the PPG program. The results of PPG student self-evaluation analysis will be able to identify problems that occur in a real way so that they can ultimately support the improvement of the program.This study uses descriptive qualitative with a comprehensive survey method. The instrument used in this study is an online survey using google form with indicators of student self-evaluation about the analysis of the curriculum of PPG Prajabatan. Indicators are developed from the 2017 PPG Guide as part of the program quality assurance principle. The results of the self evaluation of the UKSWs PPG students are: 1) there are 78.2% of students who have not clearly understood the completeness of the existing PPG Prajabatan curriculum; 2) 52.7% of students are confused in understanding PPG curriculum regulation; 3) only 40% of students successfully understand the contents of the law relating to Indonesian professional teachers; 4) 65.5% of students are active in discussing the direction of the development of Indonesian professional teachers. This paper is the first step to conduct further research related to the analysis of the curriculum of PPG Prajabatan.Keywords: self-evaluation, pendidikan profesi guru

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar matematika melalui implementasi model pembelajaran berbasis proyek yaitu project based learning (PjBL) pada peserta didik kelas 5. Model PjBL adalah model pembelajaran yang bersifat kontekstual dengan menggunakan proyek sebagai media sehingga diharapkan dapat merubah cara belajar peserta didik secara mandiri dengan meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan action research (penelitian tindakan kelas) yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Model pembelajaran ini  dilakukan dengan langkah-langkah; merancang pertanyaan yang mendasar, menyusun rencana membuat perencanaan proyek, menjalankan kegiatan proyek, memantau perkembangan proyek, membuat penilaian terhadap proyek, mengevaluasi. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran PjBL telah terbukti dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar matematika peserta didik sebesar 8% yaitu 75% ada siklus 1 dan meningkat 83% pada siklus 2. Oleh karena itu, project based learning disarankan untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran matematika.Abstract:This study aims to improve the motivation to learn mathematics through the application of project based learning (PjBL) models for the fifth grade students. The PjBL learning model is a contextual learning model using projects as media so that it is expected to change the way students learn independently by increasing the learning motivation and creativity of students. This research is an action research which consists of two cycles. The results showed that the PjBL learning model was carried out by steps; a) find basic questions, b) compile project plans, c) compile and carry out project activities, d) monitor project progress, e) assess project outcomes, f) evaluate experience. In this study it was found that the PjBL model has been shown to increase mathematics learning motivation by 8%, 75% in cycle 1 and increased 83% in cycle 2. Based on the results of the study, the implementation of project based learning can increase motivation to learn mathematics. Therefore, project based learning is recommended to be applied in mathematics learning.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research uses the Kemmis and Taggart designs which consist of 2 cycles. Each cycle has a stage of planning, implementation and observation, as well as reflection that aims to improve motivation and learning outcomes in theme 3 of the sub-theme 2 of the IPA content using the learning model make a macth. The subjects of the study were 4th grade students at SD Negeri Noborejo 01 Salatiga with a total of 34 students. The criteria for success are 80% of students and minimum learning motivation in enough categories. The results of the study show that the learning model using a method can increase the percentage of learning motivation. This can be seen from the percentage of pre cycle 1.92 (47.89%) cycle I 2.62 (64.60%) cycle II 3.52 (91.15%). increasing motivation to learn also has an impact on improving learning outcomes, namely Pre-cycle 51.3 first cycle 75.59, Cycle II 86.4. Thus the model of making a study not only increased learning motivation but also the learning outcomes of science content on 4th grade students at SDN Noborejo 01 Salatiga.

Abstract

Scientific attitudes are considereble aspect to observe in science learning. This study aimed to analyze students' scientific attitudes. In accordance with this aim, the students’ and teachers’ perceptions were recorded. This study was conducted in Junior High School 8 Salatiga. The sample of this research was 33 students and four science teachers. Furthermore, the quantitative data of scientific attitudes were collected using a questionnaire which than were analyzed using mean score. Meanwhile, the qualitative data of students' scientific attitudes and perceptions were collected by interviewing students and teachers. The results of the study showed that the scientific attitudes were catagorized in the range of mean score from 3.2 to 4.7. In addition, the students and teachers showed positive perceptions. To sum up, the green garden-based education could be an alternative model in science learning.

Abstract

This study aims to improve vocabulary mastery using the TPR method with charade games media. Type of this research is Classroom Action Research. There were 26 students in grade 3 of SD Negeri Pabelan 1 studied. The research instruments used were teacher observation sheets and residuals, as well as structured tests. The results showed that there was an increase in the activities of teachers and students from cycle I and cycle II by applying the TPR method with an average score of teacher activity not experiencing an increase or a decrease of 10 with a percentage of 100%, both in cycle I and cycle II. The average score of student activity has increased, in the first cycle the average score of student activity was 25.5 with a percentage of 63.75%, then in the second cycle the average score increased to 36 with a percentage of 90%. While the completeness of vocabulary mastery in the first cycle of students who reached KKM (minimum passing grade) amounted to 17 students or 65% then increased in the second cycle which reached KKM of 24 students or 93%. Thus, the TPR method with charade games media can improve student vocabulary

Abstract

This study aims to develop IPS learning media in the form of interactive multimedia and test the feasibility of interactive multimedia learning media that has been developed. This type of research is research and development (R & D) which refers to the model developed by Borg and Gall. The results showed the feasibility of interactive multimedia aspects of the media of 4.00, material aspects of 3.23, and language aspects of 4.11. In a limited trial of student questionnaire results showed the feasibility of 4.34 and teacher questionnaires of 4.70. While the questionnaire results of students on a wide test show the feasibility of 4.44. Based on the result of a series of feasibility test process, interactive multimedia developed feasible to be used in IPS learning. Keywords: Development, Interactive Multimedia, IPS

Abstract

Pendidikan menjadi salah satu tonggak dasar pengendalian pola perkembangan era global. Biologisebagai bagian dari sains harus mengikuti perkembangan zaman tanpa meninggalkan hakikat sains. Namun kenyataannya guru dan siswa cenderung fokus pada pencapaian nilai kognitif yang tinggi dibandingkan keterampilan sains. Solusi pembelajaran dengan mengembangkan modul berbasis Home Science Process Skill (HSPS) yang merupakan pengorganisasian materi pembelajaran yang mengembangkan keterampilan proses sains berbasis kehidupan sehari-hari (daily life) dan dapatdilakukan oleh siswa di rumah dengan bimbingan guru. Pengembangan modul pembelajaran telahmendapatkan respon positif dari ahli dan juga siswa dengan kriteria valid tanpa revisi. Keterampilanproses sains berhasil meningkat dari 71,31% menjadi 78,77%. Keunggulan pembelajaran ini adalah:adanya peran teknologi informasi, peran orang tua, sumber belajar variatif, kontekstual, berbasisproyek, siswa mengembangkan produk nyata.Kata kunci: modul pembelajaran biologi, home science process skill dipadukan blended learning, keterampilan proses sains
