Abstract

The decision of pregnant mothers to choose Antenatal Care (ANC) and delivery services is important because it affects hospital visits. The number of pregnant mothers visiting Petukangan General Hospital has shown a declining trend in 2023. Various health services for pregnant mothers have been provided, but they have not yet succeeded in increasing the number of visits. This research aims to analyze the role of Social Media Marketing as a moderating variable in the influence of psychosocial support, health communication, information and education (KIE), and health service facilities on the decision of pregnant mothers in choosing Antenatal Care (ANC) and delivery services at Petukangan General Hospital. Psychosocial support, which includes emotional and social support from family and healthcare providers, plays a crucial role in reducing anxiety and enhancing the comfort of pregnant mothers. Additionally, comprehensive health service facilities, such as specialist and subspecialist obstetric services, significantly influence the decisions of pregnant mothers. This study employs a causal quantitative research approach. The sample for this research consists of pregnant mothers residing in Jakarta who have utilized services at Petukangan Hospital at least twice, have plans to give birth, are aware of the hospital's Instagram social media, and are participants in the BPJS program. The total sample size is 220 pregnant mothers. The analysis technique used is Cross Sectional with the SEM-PLS measurement method. The study shows that psychosocial support and health service facilities have a significant influence on the decisions of pregnant mothers. Conversely, health communication, information, and education (KIE) do not have a significant effect. Social Media Marketing does not effectively moderate the relationship between these variables but has a direct and significant influence on the decisions of pregnant mothers through engaging and informative content. These results emphasize the importance of psychosocial support, quality service facilities, and effective digital marketing strategies to enhance the preferences of pregnant mothers for pregnancy services. Hospitals are recommended to strengthen their digital strategies to improve competitiveness in the healthcare market.

Abstract

The high turnover of nurses in hospitals requires more attention because turnover can harm the organization, both in terms of costs, resources, and the effectiveness of nursing itself. The objectives to be achieved in this study were to analyze the influence of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and Organizational Commitment on Nurse Turnover Intention at Mekar Sari Hospital. This study, the author uses a quantitative approach, survey method with questionnaires and the analytical method used is the Multiple Linear Regression test. The population in this study were all nurses at Mekar Sari Hospital, namely 113 nurses. The results of this study are variables of organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and organizational commitment that have a simultaneous effect on nurse turnover intention at Mekar Sari Hospital. Variable organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) has a negative and significant effect on nurses' turnover intention at Mekar Sari Hospital. Organizational commitment variables have a negative and significant effect on nurses' turnover intention at Mekar Sari Hospital. Implications for Mekar Sari Hospital Management, the results showed that one of the factors that caused low nurse Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) was the workload of nurses, therefore it was hoped that management would pay attention to the workload of nurses by calculating the overall workload of nurses in the Hospital Mekar Sari and provide facilities that support nurses in improving Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). The results showed that one of the factors that led to the nurses' Organizational Commitment was nurse job satisfaction such as salary and career path. Therefore it is important for management to develop nurse Organizational Commitments and pay attention to the needs of nurses by providing satisfaction in work. Keywords: Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), Organizational Commitment, and Nurse Turnover Intention

Abstract

Hospitals need to make various efforts to improve the quality of service in order to attract new patients and retain them. However, retaining existing patients is more difficult than attracting new patients. This study aims to analyze the effect of brand repositioning and social media communication on revisit intention with hospital brand gestalt as an intervening variable at Unimedika Sepatan Hospital, Tangerang. Brand repositioning and communication through social media are important strategies in increasing patient loyalty and intention to reuse hospital services. Hospital brand gestalt, which reflects the patient's holistic perception of the hospital brand, is hypothesized as a factor mediating the relationship between brand repositioning, social media communication, and revisit intention. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach to 260 respondents who have used Unimedika Sepatan Hospital services. Analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with the help of AMOS software to test. The results showed that brand repositioning and social media communication significantly positively influenced hospital brand gestalt. Hospital brand gestalt was proven to have a significant influence on revisit intention. These findings indicate that hospital brand gestalt plays a mediating role in the relationship between brand repositioning, social media communication, and revisit intention. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of an effective brand repositioning strategy and the use of social media communication to build positive patient perceptions of the hospital brand, which can increase patient intention to revisit services. Unimedika Sepatan Hospital is advised to strengthen its brand positioning and increase interaction through social media.

Abstract

Introduction: Repurchase intention is one of the important indicators in the world of health services, especially in hospitals. XYZ General Hospital must evaluate the services provided to patients by understanding patient perceptions, particularly through patient experience, as 50% of respondents expressed unwillingness to recommend or reuse the hospital’s services. This highlights a potential gap between service delivery and patient expectations. Method The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of patient experience, brand image, and trust on repurchase intention at XYZ Hospital, with attitude as an intervening variable. This study employed a quantitative explanatory research design, involving 182 patients from outpatient and inpatient units who had visited more than once. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the Partial Least Square (PLS) method, supported by the SmartPLS software. Results: The results revealed that patient experience, brand image, and trust significantly affect patient attitudes, which in turn directly influence repurchase intention. Attitude serves as a mediating variable between patient experiences, brand image, trust, and repurchase intention. Simultaneous testing confirmed that all independent variables have a joint effect on repurchase intention. Among the variables tested, attitude showed the strongest direct influence on repurchase intention, while patient experience had the highest indirect effect through attitude. Conclusion: These findings underscore the critical role of patient experience in shaping positive perceptions of service quality, which contribute to strengthening brand image, increasing trust, and fostering patient attitudes that support future service utilization. Therefore, healthcare providers must prioritize improving communication, staff responsiveness, and patient-centered care to enhance overall experience, build loyalty, and ensure long-term sustainability of healthcare services.
