Human reproduction in biology is included in the category of a topicthat cannot be sensed directly, but is close to the problems in the daily lives of students. It needs to be optimized in classroom learning, one of which is a worksheet based on human reproductive contextual case studies.This study aimed to find out the effect of human reproduction case-based worksheet on interpersonal communication and collaboration skills. The research method used was one hort case study design involving 68 students of Senior High School in Semarang. The data was analyzed by descriptive quantitative method. The results of the analysis showed that both of student's interpersonal communication and collaboration skills were invery high category.The teacher and student showed a positive response to the use of case-based worksheet in human reproduction learning activity. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the human reproduction case-based worksheet improves interpersonal communication and collaboration skills in Senior High School student in Semarang.The teacher can use this contextual case-based worksheet as an alternative in human reproduction teaching and learning to explore, train and familiarize students' collaboration and communication skills that will be beneficial for their live in the future.

Hasil studi pendahuluan yang telah dilakukan di SD IT Umar Bin Khattab diketahui bahwa bahan ajar yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran selama ini adalah buku dari pemerintah dan beberapa buku dari penerbit lain yang beredar di pasaran. Materi pembelajaran yang disajikan dalam buku tersebut belum mampu menggambarkan kondisi nyata di lingkungan sekitar khususnya daerah Kudus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kepraktisan modul ethno-edutainment pada siswa sekolah dasar berbasis islam di Kudus. Modul ethno-edutainment dikembangkan dengan model Borg and Gall yang dimodifikasi.Tahap pengembangan modul ethno-edutainment meliputi tahap studi pendahuluan, tahap pengembangan dan validasi produk, dan tahap uji coba produk. Pada tahap uji coba produk dilakukan kegiatan uji coba skala terbatas, dan uji coba skala luas. Uji kepraktisan dilakukan pada tahap uji skala luas dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas IV di SD IT Umar Bin Khattab. Kepraktisan modul ethno-edutainment dinilai dengan menggunakan angket respon siswa dan wawancara terhadap guru.  Hasil respon siswa terhadap modul ethno-edutainment menunjukkan adalah 87,5% artinya siswa memberikan respon positif. Guru juga memberikan respon positif terhadap modul ethno-edutainment. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa modul ethno-edutainment yang dikembangkan dinyatakan praktis untuk digunakan.

Teachers question is a habitual activity for affect students' thinking skills in thematic learning of Curriculum 2013. The activity is believed able to improve the students’ thinking skills. Its levels at primary school, according to Anderson taxonomy, can be grouped into high and low-levels. This research has a purpose of finding out the types and functions of the teachers' question in learning at primary school that impact students’ thinking skills. This qualitative descriptive by using simak method to collect the data and advance technique to observe at school. Based on the observation, the most frequently used type of questions by the teacher at lower grade was a low-level question, such as a question to understand. For teachers in higher grades, the tendency of the type of question remembered the question. Both types of teacher questions provide a low-level impact on students' thinking skills. The function of the most frequently used question was checking to understand. The function of question inside of learning interaction depended on the context, such as background, situation, purpose, topic, and doers. The purpose of this study was to; analyze the differences between Gusjigang learning approach and conventional learning on student learning outcomes. The type of research used was a quantitative research method with a nonequivalent control group design. The population consisted of all fourth-grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah TBS Kudus Regency. The sample was selected through a purposive sampling technique, so that class IV B was selected with 23 students as the experimental group and class IV C with 23 students as the control group. The data collection technique uses test techniques, namely the pre-test and post-test questions in the form of multiple choices and brief descriptions. The results obtained in the experimental class, namely the class that in the experimental class that experienced learning with the local wisdom model, Gusjigang gained an increase in learning outcomes by 83 in the high category. The N-Gain results in the control class are students who are taught with conventional learning, students who get low n-gain results are 56%, students who get moderate N-gain results are 44%, and none of the students achieves n-gain results high. Whereas in the experimental class, the students who were taught using Gusjigang's local wisdom-based learning, students who got a low n-gain result of 9%, students who got a moderate n-gain of 56%, and students who achieved a high n-gain of 35 %. This study aims to analyze whether the model of Experiential Jelajah Alam Sekitar* in the biological learning process can improve students’ critical thinking skills. The method used in this study was a Quasi Experiment with design nonequivalent control group design and the design model of pretest- posttest control group design. Better Teaching and Learning (BTL) developed by the Decentralized Basic Education (DBE). USAID Indonesia DBE Program is a joint program between the Government of Indonesia and the Government of the United States that aims to support the government in improving the quality and relevance of education in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to investigate the application of meaningfull learning practice based on Better Teaching Learning (BTL) in microteaching course on professional competence in developing prospective teachers. Sampling in this study conducted with a purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the application of meaningfull learning practice based on BTL to develop professional competency prospective teachers, with a mean score achieved was 74% (excellent), 22% (good). Meaningfull learning-based Better Teaching Learning (BTL), recommended to be applied in the education and training of the teaching profession, and can be used as an innovative strategy to improve the quality of the learning process.

The purpose of this research to analyze the internalization process of religious character conducted by teachers in the learning process in low class in Islamic elementary school in Purwokerto City. The type of research used is qualitative. Research Data is derived from interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis used in this research by triangulation. The results showed that the process of planting religious character in the implementation of learning carried out by associating the value of religious characters into the learning theme integrated in syllabus and RPP and applied in Implementation of learning. Research conclusion shows that the implementation of religious character planting in the low class in the implementation of learning in the city of Purwokerto carried out by integrating religious character book into the implementation of learning. This Research aims (1) to analyze the validity of supplementary book on research-based which is developed according to experts, media and user; (2) to analyze the effectiveness of supplementary book research-based to enhance the results of the study. This study used a modified Borg & Gall development model. The method used to analyze the validity of supplementary book, which is tested the components of feasibility and readability. The feasibility component test was given to materials experts, media experts and users, while the readability test was given to 27 students. The effectiveness of supplementary book is done in  SMA N 8 Semaang, using the Pre Experimental Design type One Group Pretest Posttest Design with a sample of 72 students. Validity and effectiveness test results were analyzed using quantitative descriptive method. Supplementary book effectively used in learning can be seen through KKM and N-Gain results. The results  shows that; (1) supplementary book on research based reach very valid criteria according to experts, media and user; (2) supplementary book on research based developed effective as  students learning outcomes proven by achieving 100% Minimum Criteria (KKM) and N-Gain in the medium criteria. This is also supported by affective aspects with excellent criteria and psychomotor aspects with highly skilled criteria. Supplementary book on research based on mangrove ecosystems are stated to be very valid and effective towards students? learning outcomes.

In this 21st century educational, students are required to be able to have collaborative competence and critical thinking. So that, the school should be able to prepare students with such competences. This is an increasingly competitive challenge in the world of education. The research aims to analyse the effectiveness of PjBL learning models on the collaborative ability and critical thinking of senior high school students on subject of Structure, Way of Life and Role of Bacteria in Life. The method in this research was experimental research with Pre-Experimental design. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 13 Semarang and MA Nurussalam Semarang with a total of 45 students. We used observation sheets and tests as the instrument. The observation sheet was used to measure collaborative ability while test was used to measure critical thinking skills. The data analysis techniques used standard of criteria and N-gain. Standard of criteria to measure collaborative ability while N-gain to measure increased critical thinking ability. The results of the research obtained (1) The average percentage of the collaborative ability score of class X IPA 2 SMA Negeri 13 Semarang is 71.6% while the class X IPA MA Nurussalam is 71.0%; (2) in the first test, the average percentage of critical thinking ability of class X IPA 2 SMA Negeri 13 Semarang is 62.9% while the class X IPA MA Nurussalam is 78.3%. In the second test, the average percentage of the critical thinking ability score of class X IPA 2 SMA Negeri 13 Semarang is 75.1% while the class X IPA MA Nurussalam is 80.0%. Both classes experienced an increase in the average percentage score of critical thinking abilities. The class X IPA 2 SMA Negeri 13 Semarang has increased by 12.2% while X IPA MA Nurussalam has an increase of 1.7%. Based on the research results it can be concluded that the implementation of PjBL learning model is effective on improving collaborative ability and critical thinking of students in SMA Negeri 13 Semarang and MA Nurussalam Semarang

Interest determines the yield. Higher learning interests can improve learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the interest of students in participate the guidance of learning and its implications on the results of biology learning in SMAN 1 Semarang. The methodology research uses mixmethod with sequential exploration strategy. The research was conducted in the field using four methods, namely observation, interview, documentation, and questionnaire. Data were obtained in the form of description of student interest and student interest score. Furthermore, compared with the final exam results of students. Data were analyzed by correlation, regression and t-test which then explained. The results showed that 70% of students interested to participate the guidance of learning and based on linear regression analysis there is a contribution of student interest on the results of biological studies with r2 = 0.87 (? = 0.003). Pearson product moment correlation analysis obtained coefficient value 0.295 with significance 0.003 indicates that there is a positive relationship between interest with biology learning result. Based on the independent test ttest shows tvalue = 5.12 ? ttable = 2.32 (? = 0.00; n = 100). Based on the results of research and discussion can be concluded that some students are interested in participate the guidance of biology learning. Students' interest in learning outcomes has a positive relationship with low criteria and influences biological learning outcomes. There are differences in biology learning outcomes of students who participate the guidance of learning and not participate in tutoring.
