Abstract

Pendahuluan: Menjahit merupakan salah satu pekerjaan yang ditekuni secara individu maupun pekerja industri konveksi. Menjahit pekerjaan yang membuat postur kerja kaku dan beban otot yang statis dengan kecepatan tinggi, untuk waktu yang lama dapat meningkatkan peluang pengembangan keluhan muskuloskeletal didalamnya seperti, nyeri bahu, leher kaku, dan nyeri pinggang. Kontraksi berlebihan pada otot akibat posisi kerja, beban kerja yang terlalu berat dan durasi kerja berlebihan mengakibatkan keluhan Musculosceletal Disorder (MSDs) dengan gangguan fungsi normal otot, tendon, saraf, pembuluh darah, tulang dan ligamen. Salah satu upaya pendekatan ergonomi yang dapat di terapkan untuk mengatasi keluhan tersebut melalui teknik relaksasi yaitu stretching Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi keluhan musculoskeletal pada penjahit. Metodologi: Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimental. Lokasi penelitian yaitu Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta dengan periode penelitian dari bulan September – Desember 2022. Populasi target pada penelitian ini adalah semua pekerja penjahit yang ada di Arsha Konveksi. Pengambilan sampel menggunaan teknik random sampling. Pengukuran dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah bekerja pada Periode I dan Periode II terhadap 12 sampel selama 1 bulan. Data yang diperolah akan dianalisis dengan uji t-paired pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Data dianalisis dengan SPSS versi 22 for windows. Uji dilakukan dengan uji perbandingan t paired. Hasil: Analisis pada keluhan muskuloskeletal sebelum bekerja memiliki nilai p value (0,727>0,05) sehingga tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan keluhan muskuloskeletal sebelum kerja antara Periode I dan Periode II baik sebelum maupun setelah diberikan tindakan auto stretching. Kemudian pada keluhan muskuloskeletal setelah bekerja memiliki nilai p value (0,000<0,05) sehingga ada perbedaan yang signifikan keluhan muskuloskeletal setelah kerja antara Periode I dan Periode II baik sebelum maupun setelah diberikan tindakan auto stretching. Kesimpulan: Dapat disimpulkan bahwa Pemberian Auto Stretching dapat menurunkan keluhan musculoskeletal pada pekerja pejahit di ARSHA Konveksi Godean Kabupaten Sleman Yogyakarta. Abstract

To find out the need for fiber optic access network devices from NOC to rooms at Udayana University, Sudirman Campus, fiber to the home network design was made with Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) technology. Selection of GPON technology to reduce the number of ports on OLT and the number of fiber cores compared to the existing technology using point to point. Assuming the bitrate in each room is 21 Mbps and 291 rooms to be served, it takes 5 OLT ports on the NOC. Feeder Cable Network consists of 5 cores distributed to each location using 3 units of 1: 4 splitter, 4 units of 1: 8 splitter, 6 units of 1:16 splitter, 1:32 splitter of 6 units. To maintain service quality, 16 amplifiers are needed. The required fiber cable length is 2.5 km. The quality of service is tested using the Optisystem simulator. The result is that at the closest distance the PRx value is -14.059 dBm, with BER 6.13608 e-103, Q Factor 21.511. Meanwhile, at the farthest distance, the PRx value is -14.105 dBm, with BER of 1.52751 e-120, and Q Factor 23.3159. The results obtained still meet the ITU-T G.984.2 standard

Abstract

Along with the development of technology, control systems can now control various devices using smartphones connected to the internet remotely (Internet of Things). In order to have a good understanding of this field, universities have a very important role as an education institution. One of them is Udayana University through the Control System + Lab Course in the Independent Campus Learning Curriculum. This study aims to design an IoT-based Lab + Control System Trainer Kit Module using DevKit ESP32. The designed system includes an IoT-based DC motor control system using an L298N motor driver, an IoT-based water cooling control system using a DS18B20 temperature sensor, and an IoT-based water level control system using an HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor. The system will be controlled through an application that has been created and installed on a smartphone connected to the internet so that it can be tested and analyzed to draw conclusions.

Abstract

A control system is defined as a combination of several components that aim to produce a system response in accordance with the desired process variables. Therefore, control systems are now widely used in various fields such as industry, automotive, public facilities, and household appliances. Especially in the industrial field, control systems play a role in improving production quality and reducing production costs. To create qualified human resources who have a good understanding in this field, universities have an important role in realizing this. One of them is Udayana University through the Electrical Engineering Study Program in the Independent Learning Curriculum in the Control System + Lab Course. This study aims to design a Digital-Based Control System + Lab Trainer Kit Module using Arduio Uno to support the process of implementing practicum in the laboratory. In the trainer kit module, there will be three systems designed, which are DC motor direction and speed control system using L298N motor driver, water heater control system using DS18B20 temperature sensor, and also water level control system using HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor.

Abstract

The web-based Computer Based Test (CBT) application is an innovation in the academic assessment system that replaces the conventional paper-based exam method. This study aims to analyze the quality of CBT application services on user satisfaction at SMK PGRI 6 Denpasar using the Servqual and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) approaches. The research sample consisted of 152 students in grades XI and XII. Data were obtained through online questionnaires and analyzed using the Servqual method to identify gaps between user expectations and perceptions, as well as CSI calculations to measure overall satisfaction levels. The results of the analysis show that 90% of indicators have negative gap values ??indicating that user expectations are higher than actual experiences. However, the CSI value of 82.64% is included in the very satisfied category, indicating that the CBT application still provides significant benefits. Therefore, feature development and service improvements are needed to meet user expectations more optimally.

Abstract

This study examines the design of an IoT-based SCOWAS (Smart Coop Warming System) control system for broiler chicken coops using Arduino Mega, DHT 22 sensor, thermocouple, ThingSpeak platform, and Telegram bot. The main goal of this system is to automate the control of temperature and humidity in broiler chicken coops, thereby improving maintenance efficiency and chicken welfare. Arduino Mega serves as the main controller, collecting data from the DHT 22 sensor to measure temperature and humidity, as well as from the thermocouple for more accurate temperature monitoring. The collected data is then sent to the ThingSpeak platform for real-time monitoring and analysis. Additionally, this system is integrated with a Telegram bot that notifies farmers about the environmental conditions of the coop, such as temperature and humidity that do not meet the set thresholds. The implementation of this system allows for more responsive and measured control of coop environmental conditions, minimizing manual interventions that could disrupt productivity. Testing results show that this system is capable of providing accurate and real-time information and control in both measurement and communication with IoT, thus supporting the improvement of broiler chicken maintenance quality and efficiency, and offering an effective and innovative solution in the modern livestock industry.

Abstract

This study developed an object detection model using YOLOv9 to identify pig feces on pig skin, addressing challenges in automating pig cleaning systems and reducing the spread of African Swine Fever (ASF). The aim was to enhance biosecurity measures by minimizing human-pig contact through automation. A specialized dataset comprising 5,404 images was collected from Nyoman Farm in Bali, Indonesia, under various lighting and cleanliness conditions. These images were annotated into two classes, namely 'feces' and 'pig,' following strict criteria to ensure clarity and distinction. YOLOv9 was chosen as it is an advanced update of YOLOv8 with enhanced object detection capabilities. The model was iteratively trained and optimized to achieve the best performance. The results achieved a mAP_0.5 of 70.5%, precision of 70.6%, and recall of 72.1%. However, the model faced challenges in distinguishing pig skin patterns from feces and managing false positives caused by similar-looking objects in the barn environment. Despite these challenges, integrating this model into an automated cleaning system can reduce human-pig contact by up to 76%, which is expected to significantly lower the risk of ASF transmission. This study contributes to automated farming technology, demonstrating how well YOLOv9 can detect complex objects in agricultural settings and providing practical solutions to enhance biosecurity in pig farming while improving productivity.

Abstract

Indonesia has abundant solar energy potential; however, its utilization remains limited due to dependence on fossil fuels and the low efficiency of solar panels caused by static installation systems. To address this issue, this study designed and developed a prototype of an automatic single-axis solar tracker based on Arduino Uno to optimize solar energy absorption. The system is controlled by the Arduino Uno R3 for automatic adjustment of the solar panel position, and the ESP32 is used for real-time monitoring of environmental and electrical parameters. The sensors employed include the BH1750 for light intensity, DHT22 for temperature and humidity, INA219 for voltage and current, and ACS712 for current. Test results indicate that the system is capable of automatically adjusting the solar panel angle, accurately monitoring environmental parameters, and generating stable electrical power for eight hours. Although some instability in current readings was observed when the system operated on battery power, the prototype has proven effective and feasible for further development to enhance the utilization of solar energy.

Abstract

The hatching process of chicken eggs is highly dependent on a stable incubation environment, especially consistent and standard temperature and humidity. Fluctuations or instability of conditions within the incubator can significantly reduce the success rate of egg hatching (hatching) as well as degrade the quality of the chicks produced. In response to this challenge, this study developed an Internet of Things (IoT)-based monitoring system. The system is designed to monitor crucial parameters such as temperature, humidity, electric current, and voltage inside the incubator. The data collected from the monitoring is then transmitted using the ESP32 module to the ThingSpeak platform. This integration allows users to monitor the condition of the incubator at any time and remotely over an internet connection, providing flexibility and ease of supervision. The test results show that the developed system is able to provide accurate and responsive environmental condition data, and plays an important role in maintaining the stability of the incubation environment. This is expected to increase egg hatchability and support the production of better quality chicks.

Abstract

Fluctuations in dissolved oxygen (DO) levels in high-density biofloc-based tilapia aquaculture pose a critical challenge that directly affects fish growth, survival rate, and feed conversion efficiency. Traditional aeration systems that operate continuously are energy inefficient and unable to adapt dynamically to real-time environmental variations. This study aims to improve DO stability and energy efficiency in biofloc-based tilapia aquaculture through adaptive aeration control. This study designs and evaluates an Internet of Things (IoT)-based smart aeration system that automatically regulates aeration intensity based on real-time DO sensing and threshold-based control logic. The system is built on an ESP32 microcontroller integrated with a digital DO sensor, a water temperature sensor, and relay actuators for blower control, with data transmission via the MQTT protocol and real-time monitoring through a web-based dashboard. Experimental testing was conducted for seven days in a biofloc pond containing 200 tilapia, with a comparative analysis between manual and automated control modes. The results demonstrate that the smart aeration system effectively maintained DO within the optimal range of 5.1–6.8 mg/L while reducing blower energy consumption by 26.7%. Communication reliability was validated with an average transmission delay of 740 ms and a packet loss rate of 1.8%, both of which are acceptable for real-time IoT applications. Data analysis showed consistent improvements in DO stability and energy efficiency throughout the experimental stage. In addition, the system’s modular architecture enables scalability for integration with additional sensors or renewable energy sources, such as solar panels, to support off-grid operations. The findings affirm that the proposed system offers a practical, low-cost, and sustainable solution for data-driven aquaculture management and contribute to the advancement of smart, environmentally responsive aquaculture systems.
