Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of food waste management at EMC Alam Sutera Hospital, assess its impact on the environment and hospital operations, and identify strategies for utilizing it to increase economic value. The approach used is qualitative with descriptive research type. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that food waste management at EMC Alam Sutera Hospital is carried out through sorting organic waste, processing it into compost, and distributing the processed products for use in the hospital area or for sale to the surrounding community. This strategy has a positive impact on the environment by reducing the volume of waste disposed to landfills and increasing operational efficiency through reduced waste disposal costs. In addition, the utilization of food waste as compost provides economic opportunities for the hospital by making it an additional source of income while supporting the circular economy principle.

Abstract

The implementation of the Regional Public Service Agency Financial Management Pattern 'Pola Pengelolaan Keuangan Badan Layanan Umum Daerah' (hereinafter referred to as PPK-BLUD) at the Puskesmas Tanjungsari demonstrates significant results in enhancing the quality of health services and financial management. This paper aims to analyze the implementation of PPK-BLUD based on Merilee Grindle's policy implementation theory; which highlights the relationship between policy content; and implementation context. The writing method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation; interviews; and document reviews. The results of the study indicate that the autonomy provided through PPK-BLUD enables the Puskesmas Tanjungsari to manage its budget more flexibly; enhance financial transparency through the application of a digital economic system; and implement service innovations such as an electronic queuing system and QRIS payments. The success of the implementation is supported by oversight from the Health Office and community participation through discussion forums such as the Self-Awareness Survey (SMD) and Village Community Deliberation (MMD). However, challenges remain regarding employee commitment and coordination between teams that still need improvement. In conclusion, the implementation of PPK-BLUD at the Puskesmas Tanjungsari has succeeded in enhancing the efficiency of financial management; the quality of health services; and financial independence. This success can serve as a model for other Community Health Centers in implementing similar policies to improve health services in the region.

Abstract

The digital transformation of the fashion retail sector has redefined customer-brand relationships, emphasizing the need for loyalty strategies that transcend traditional transactional approaches. This study, a systematic literature review (SLR), evaluates the effectiveness of loyalty programs in enhancing customer retention. A total of 201 peer-reviewed international articles were analyzed using bibliometric visualization with VOSviewer and thematic synthesis within the PRISMA framework. The analysis, guided by the Commitment-Trust Theory and the Customer-Based Brand Equity (CBBE) model, revealed that customer loyalty is no longer driven solely by incentives such as points or discounts. Instead, it is increasingly shaped by emotional engagement, personalized digital experiences, and the integration of social and environmental values into brand narratives. Gamification techniques and AI-powered personalization emerged as key enablers of long-term customer relationships. These findings have significant theoretical and practical implications, underscoring the importance of designing omnichannel, user-centric, and socially relevant loyalty programs to sustain customer retention in the highly competitive fashion retail landscape. Challenges remain in the complexity of program designs and their alignment with the preferences of younger generations, such as Millennials and Gen Z. Future research should consider adopting mixed-method and longitudinal approaches to gain a more comprehensive understanding.

Abstract

The increasing complexity of work demands in hospital environments often leads to challenges in balancing professional and personal responsibilities, potentially impacting employees' organizational commitment. This study aims to examine the influence of work-life balance and job satisfaction on organizational commitment among employees of Erni Medika Hospital Jambi. Employing a quantitative approach with a causal associative design, data were collected from all 84 employees through structured questionnaires. The research instruments were tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 30. The results revealed that both work-life balance and job satisfaction had a positive and significant impact on organizational commitment, both partially and simultaneously. The coefficient of determination (R²) indicates that 53.9% of the variation in organizational commitment can be explained by the two independent variables. These findings highlight the importance of implementing structured work-life balance policies and enhancing job satisfaction to strengthen employee commitment. In alignment with national health regulations, such as Law No. 17 of 2023 and Government Regulation No. 28 of 2024, hospitals are encouraged to improve employee welfare and performance-based recognition systems. Managers should also promote open communication to help employees manage their responsibilities effectively. This study provides practical implications for hospital management in fostering a more committed and satisfied workforce.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran elemen marketing mix dalam meningkatkan kunjungan pasien, mengidentifikasi kendala implementasinya, serta menggali strategi optimalisasi marketing mix di Klinik PKU Muhammadiyah Lombok Utara. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data diuji menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber agar hasil penelitian memiliki tingkat kepercayaan yang tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa elemen-elemen marketing mix seperti produk layanan unggulan (rawat inap, khitan gratis, UGD 24 jam), harga yang terjangkau, pelayanan yang ramah, serta promosi meskipun terbatas, telah mendorong meningkatnya minat masyarakat untuk berobat di klinik. Namun, implementasi strategi tersebut menghadapi kendala berupa keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, khususnya dokter umum, serta minimnya ruang pelayanan yang memadai, yang berdampak pada kualitas pelayanan. Strategi optimalisasi dapat dilakukan melalui peningkatan jumlah dan kompetensi tenaga medis, penataan ulang fasilitas fisik untuk kenyamanan pasien, serta pengembangan promosi yang lebih kreatif dan terjadwal di media sosial. Kegiatan sosial seperti pengobatan gratis dan khitan massal juga perlu diperkuat sebagai pendekatan promosi berbasis nilai kemanusiaan dan keagamaan yang efektif membangun citra positif klinik.

Abstract

This study investigates the effects of organizational culture, salary, and stress levels on employee engagement at Puskesmas Sukawati 1 Gianyar. Employee engagement is widely recognized as a critical factor that influences productivity, commitment, and organizational performance, particularly in healthcare institutions where service quality depends heavily on staff involvement. The research employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive survey design, involving 80 employees as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation, then analyzed using statistical methods to assess both partial and simultaneous relationships among the variables. The findings reveal that organizational culture, salary, and stress levels individually do not exert a significant influence on employee engagement. Similarly, the simultaneous analysis of the three variables shows no significant collective effect on engagement. These results suggest that other factors beyond organizational culture, salary, and stress may play a more substantial role in shaping employee engagement within the context of primary healthcare services. This study contributes to the understanding of employee engagement determinants in health organizations and provides insights for future research to explore additional variables that may strengthen workforce motivation, commitment, and performance in healthcare settings.

Abstract

Klinik Bamma adalah klinik rawat jalan pratama swasta,yang berada di Pasuruan Jawa Timur. Tantangan global dan munculnya sejumlah besar klinik baru telah menghasilkan intensitas persaingan yang tinggi untuk industri layanan kesehatan. Sebagai klinik baru, klinik Bamma harus membuat rencana strategis untuk mencapai keunggulan kompetitif, menjaga kelangsungan dan mengantisipasi perubahan dinamis dalam mencapai tujuan organisasi. Analisis kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan ancaman (SWOT) dan teknik analisis matriks IFE, EFE, IE, TOWS, SWOT dan QSPM dapat digunakan dalam merumuskan strategi manajemen klinik yang tepat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dan data dikumpulkan dari diskusi dengan manajerial klinik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk mengidentifikasi faktor eksternal dan internal, (2) untuk merumuskan strategi pengembangan bisnis alternatif, (3) untuk menentukan prioritas strategi pengembangan bisnis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa klinik Bamma pada posisi IE matriks adalah Grow and Build. Adapun dalam analisis SWOT menunjukkan bahwa strategi terbaik yang dapat dilakukan adalah mengoptimalkan kekuatan untuk mencegah ancaman (ST). Ada lima opsi strategis yang dianalisis menggunakan matriks QSPM, sehingga menghasilkan peringkat prioritas sebagai berikut: (1) Menawarkan paket layanan yang lebih efisien. (2) Memberikan diskon untuk layanan tertentu. (3) Menjalin kerja sama dengan BPJS. (4) Perpanjangan jam operasional klinik. Dan yang terakhir (5) Menawarkan pilihan pengobatan tradisional.

Abstract

Puskesmas sebagai fasilitas kesehatan tingkat pertama memiliki peran krusial dalam sistem kesehatan nasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran manajemen sumber daya manusia, sarana prasarana, dan sistem informasi kesehatan dalam mencapai efisiensi pelayanan di Puskesmas Suak Ribee. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Populasi mencakup seluruh tenaga kesehatan dan fasilitas di Puskesmas Suak Ribee yang berjumlah 92 tenaga kesehatan. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan sepuluh informan kunci yang meliputi kepala puskesmas, kepala manajemen sumber daya manusia, dokter, petugas sistem informasi kesehatan, dan penanggung jawab berbagai bagian. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara induktif menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, dengan validasi melalui triangulasi sumber data dan metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen SDM memiliki sistem monitoring sistematis melalui SKP dan Ekinerja, namun implementasinya terhambat oleh kurangnya pelatihan berkelanjutan dan kepemimpinan transformasional. Sarana prasarana menunjukkan kondisi beragam dengan keterbatasan anggaran sebagai hambatan utama. Sistem informasi kesehatan berupa P-Care dan RME sudah diimplementasikan namun menghadapi kendala infrastruktur teknologi dan keterampilan SDM yang terbatas. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa efisiensi pelayanan Puskesmas Suak Ribee belum mencapai level optimal karena interaksi kompleks dari ketiga dimensi tersebut, memerlukan pendekatan holistik yang mengintegrasikan penguatan SDM, optimalisasi sarana prasarana, dan akselerasi implementasi sistem informasi kesehatan.

Abstract

As a healthcare institution with a high workload, it is important to understand the factors that influence staff extra-role behavior in order to improve overall service performance. This study aims to analyze the influence of job stress and burnout on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) with organizational commitment as an intervening variable at Dr. Nur Clinic, Cimahi City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design, involving 139 respondents who have worked for more than six months. Data were collected through a questionnaire measuring work stress levels (based on Osipow's dimensions), burnout (based on Maslach's three components), organizational commitment (affective, normative, continuance), and OCB (altruism, responsibility, courtesy, sportsmanship, and civic virtue). Data analysis was conducted using multiple regression tests, path analysis, and mediation tests using SPSS version 29. The results of the study indicate that work stress and burnout each have a significant negative effect on organizational commitment and OCB. Organizational commitment was found to mediate the relationship between stress and burnout on OCB, with a greater mediating effect for stress than for burnout. Additionally, there is a serial effect of stress and burnout on OCB through reduced organizational commitment, highlighting the importance of a holistic approach in managing employee well-being. These findings indicate that enhancing organizational commitment as a form of employees' psychological attachment plays a crucial role in promoting OCB and mitigating the negative impacts of work-related stress.
