Abstract

This study aims to examine how performance allowances and motivation affect Maranatha Christian University education staff's performance. The study population consisted of all 292 educational staff at Maranatha Christian University. The sample size was established using the Slovin method, yielding a sample of 75 respondents. Using Full Model Regression, a multiple linear regression equation was obtained: Y = 12.051 + -001 X1 + 0.072 X2. From this equation, it can be deduced that the coefficient of determination (r2) is 0.466, meaning that the X1-X2 variables may account for 46.6% of the model's variance while the remaining variance (53.4%), which is not accounted for by this regression model, is explained by other variables. The calculated F value was 33,249, with a significant F of 0.000 < 5%. This supports the hypothesis that Ho: b1= b2 ≠ 0, meaning that both factors (X) have an impact on Y.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the problems faced by Batik Sekar Putri and offer the ideas to develop the business as one of the leading products in Cimahi City. Based on the interview, it can be identified several main problems faced, include: limited human resources creativity due to the difficulty of getting employees with some required expertise; lack of capital to purchase production equipment such as batik’s stamp and quality management that have not been fully implemented; there is no separation between corporate and personal finances; the limitations in the use of information technology as a promotional medium cause financial problems, especially when there is little or no demand or sales; efforts to develop heritage tourism through mini museums that cannot be developed due to limited funds; and organizational management which is still very simple. Efforts to develop business partners as one of the regional superior products are more focused on aspects of SMEs empowerment including mentoring and development. Assistance is carried out by providing knowledge transfer in the form of theory and training related to efforts to overcome the problems faced, while development is related to business transformation in digital form which is currently of minimal use. Through this empowerment, it is expected that the performance and competitiveness of partners can be improved so that they can be made as one of the regional superior products based on local wisdom.

Abstract

This quantitative study aims to analyze the influence of leadership, work environment, and organizational culture on the performance of pharmaceutical personnel, as well as to examine the role of organizational culture as a moderator in the relationship between leadership and work environment with performance. The research was conducted using a total sampling method involving 89 pharmaceutical personnel at the Pharmacy Installation of Immanuel Hospital Bandung. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using SmartPLS 4.0. The results indicate that organizational culture and work environment have a positive and significant effect on the performance of pharmaceutical personnel, with organizational culture being the dominant factor. Conversely, leadership does not have a positive and significant effect on performance. This aligns with the pre-survey findings, which revealed weaknesses in leadership regarding employee control and complaint handling. Additionally, the performance of pharmaceutical personnel is highly influenced by strict standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulations, making the role of leadership relatively smaller compared to other factors such as organizational culture and work environment. Organizational culture was not proven to moderate the influence of leadership or work environment on performance. This may be because the organizational culture at Immanuel Hospital is already very strong, so its moderating effect is no longer felt. This is also evident in the role of organizational culture as an independent factor that directly affects performance, rather than as a moderator that strengthens or weakens the influence of leadership and work environment. These findings emphasize the importance of strengthening organizational culture and improving the work environment as the main strategies to enhance the performance of pharmaceutical personnel in the hospital.
