Abstract

This article examines families’ role in fostering children's interest in reading. Especially the literacy provided by the family is certainly a separate implementation empowered by the family. Parents who have outward duties in fostering, leading, and managing the care of children. Parents can guide children's cognitive character to mental strength, and morals, and also drive literacy empowerment or interest in reading in children. Literacy in children focuses on reading and writing activities from an early age. these activities can be called pre-reading and pre-writing activities. The subjects in this study are two families who have children in preschool age, 0-6 years old range in Lending Village, Cidadap District, Bandung City. Data collection techniques in this research are interviews, surveys, and documentation. Then the data analysis techniques in this study are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Based on the results of the study, the success of reading and literacy culture in children is influenced by the family environment that shapes it. The more positive stimulations and influences given to children, such as vocabulary introduction and support for reading, the faster children can understand the writing they read and this can encourage the success of a literacy culture in the family.

Abstract

This article examines the parenting styles of parents who have the external task of fostering, leading and managing the care of children. Literacy in children focuses on reading and writing activities from an early age. These activities can be called pre-reading and pre-writing activities. There are subjects in this research, namely two families who have children in preschool age, namely 0-6 years in Ledeng Village, Cidadap District, Bandung City. Data collection in research uses interview, survey and documentation techniques. Then the data analysis techniques in this research are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Based on research results, children's reading success and literacy culture are influenced by the family environment that shapes them. The more positive stimulation and influence given to children, such as the introduction of vocabulary and support for reading, the faster children can understand the writing they read and are able to encourage the success of a literacy culture in the family. The results were found in two different family samples and based on these results it was found that the more positive stimulation provided, such as the introduction of vocabulary and support for reading, the faster children can understand the writing they read and are able to encourage the success of a literacy culture in the family. Abstract

This article aims to find out how the quality of the items and assessment rubrics on aspects of language skills, namely the writing skills of students in class X SMA / MA in the odd semester Indonesian language lessons anecdotal text material located in Kudus. Researchers reconstructed the items and assessment rubrics and developed the learning media that would be delivered to students. The KD taken in this study were KD 3.5 for the realm of knowledge and KD 4.5 in the realm of anecdotal text material skills. The research that the researcher makes is included in the form of descriptive-qualitative research. The techniques in data collection that the researchers used in making this article include: reading and writing techniques and analysis techniques with data reduction, presenting existing data, and drawing conclusions. Furthermore, the results found that the lesson plans of Indonesian language teachers at SMA/MA Kudus did not meet the criteria for the assessment of the three aspects, namely material, construction, and language. The first aspect is the material reaches 70%, construction 70%, and language 75%. In addition, the assessment rubric which was originally still in the cognitive domain was reconstructed by changing to the skill or psychomotor domain. The last result is the development of media used by teachers, researchers develop learning media so that students' skills in writing anecdotal texts can be achieved through the existence of android-based learning applications in the era of independent learning, especially in anecdotal texts. So that the learning objectives in the era of independent learning can be achieved optimally.

Abstract

This research contains the language of the lyrics of the song Para Pencari-Mu popularized by the music group Ungu. The band Ungu has varied and interesting songs. The lyrics of the song Para Pencari-Mu popularized by the music group Ungu contain diction, language style, and imagery that are reviewed through stylistic studies. As one of the masterpieces of songs with a very famous religious theme, researchers focus on stylistic studies to find out the meaning in the lyrics of the song. Stylistics is a literary analysis that focuses on the meaning of language style on the characteristics of the author or creator of the work. In this case, the research aims to (1) describe the diction in the song lyrics; (2) explain the language style in the song lyrics; and (3) detail the imagery in the song lyrics. This article contains descriptive qualitative research. This research includes data collection techniques, namely reading and writing techniques sourced from song lyrics. The results of this study describe the diction of Para Pencari-Mu song lyrics in which there are denotative, connotative diction, typical greetings and proper names, and the meaning of foreign or absorbed words. The diction affects the broad meaning in the lyrics of Para Pencari-Mu. Then the meaning of the language style in the song lyrics is also found in metaphor and hyperbole. Then the imagery in the song lyrics is visual and movement imagery.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the integration of Indonesian language learning in schools that is related to language skills such as listening, speaking, reading, and writing with digitalization of learning that strengthens character education in students. Teachers have an important role in implementing character education to students. In this case, Indonesian language learning can be maximized with the variety of digital learning that can be utilized. In this case, teachers can maximize the basic competencies that can be integrated in strengthening character education can be narrowed down to religious values, national values, togetherness values, independence values, and integrity values. This article focuses on descriptive qualitative methods and literature studies from various relevant references regarding character education that can be integrated with Indonesian language learning at school. The results show that the basic competencies of class XI SMA can be integrated with the focused character education. Then, learning using digital technology can provide new things for teachers, students, and education units. This research focuses on the study of character integration by involving digitalization.

Abstract

This article seeks to explore the role of Indonesian language teachers in implementing the Pancasila student profile. In this context, Indonesian language teachers are responsible for guiding the learning process, ensuring that moral values are conveyed and can be applied by students in both school and community settings. The younger generation today is facing a decline in morals and local wisdom, driven by the rapid advancement of globalization. This trend could lead to a loss of national character or identity among the youth, which requires special attention to address these issues and foster an understanding of good character within the educational framework. The classroom learning process must be of high quality to effectively support positive representations of Pancasila values, such as devotion to God, independence, critical thinking, creativity, cooperation, and global diversity. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach and literature review, referring to sources related to the role of Indonesian language teachers in incorporating the Pancasila learner profile into Indonesian language education. The materials presented by Indonesian language teachers can integrate the Pancasila learner profile into various competencies, focusing on noble character, independence, critical thinking, cooperation, creativity, and diversity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan studi literatur dengan deskriptif kualitatif melalui beberapa literatur yang diperoleh berdasarkan kefokusan materi. Teknik akrostik merupakan teknik yang memberikan kemudahan dalam keterampilan menulis puisi karena menyasar pada awal huruf secara vertikal yang nantinya akan tersusun menjadi sebuah kalimat inti. Banyaknya anggapan bahwa pembelajaran keterampilan menulis puisi terbilang sulit dan membutuhkan proses yang panjang memberikan tantangan tersendiri bagi para guru dalam pengaplikasiannya. Berdasarkan hasil studi literatur yang diperoleh, teknik akrostik dapat memberikan progres yang signifikan dalam membantu para guru dan siswa di sekolah menengah pertama pada pembelajaran keterampilan menulis puisi. Pembelajaran sastra yang dapat diekspresikan dengan apa saja pun menjadi peluang bagi guru dalam mengimplementasikannya di dalam kelas. Penggunaan teknik akrostik dapat menjadi alternatif yang memberikan efek kesenangan pada siswa, karena menjadi wahana baru untuk mereka dalam bersastra.

Abstract

Novel adalah bentuk karya sastra yang menyampaikan cerita melalui narasi panjang yang melibatkan karakter, alur, dan latar. Salah satu aspek penting dalam novel adalah penggambaran kepribadian tokoh, yang menjadi inti untuk memahami cerita dan konflik yang dihadirkan. Kepribadian tokoh biasanya dibangun melalui tindakan, dialog, deskripsi, serta interaksi antar karakter. Studi terhadap kepribadian tokoh dalam novel sering memanfaatkan pendekatan psikologi sastra, yang menghubungkan elemen sastra dengan teori-teori psikologi untuk memahami perilaku, motivasi, dan perkembangan tokoh secara mendalam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kepribadian tokoh Sugik dalam novel "Janur Ireng" karya Simpleman dengan pendekatan psikologi sastra. Sugik, sebagai tokoh utama mengalami konflik internal yang mencerminkan tantangan moral dan emosional dalam hidupnya. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui pembacaan heuristik dan analisis data hermeneutik. Hasil penelitian terdapat aspek id sebanyak 5 data, Aspek ego terdapat 2 data dan Aspek superego 2 data yang menunjukkan bahwa kepribadian Sugik dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan sosial dan budaya Jawa, serta konflik yang dihadapinya dalam keluarga dan masyarakat. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang bagaimana pengalaman Sugik mencerminkan tema kekuasaan, pengorbanan, dan tradisi, serta dampaknya terhadap pembaca dalam memahami dinamika karakter fiksi.

Abstract

This research is intended as a reference to understand that teachers have a variety of learning media that can be maximally utilised in learning to write poetry in primary schools. This shows that digitalisation in education requires teachers to continue to innovate in the learning process at the primary school level. With the right use of media, poetry writing skills become easier to understand. Media helps students interpret the meaning contained in various types of media used. With the help of media, students can produce poems that are arranged systematically and structured. The role of the teacher who delivers the material is also very influential in the smooth running of learning. The use of media in learning poetry creates a new atmosphere for students, so they are not only focused on books or methods that are difficult to understand. This research also uses a qualitative descriptive method with literature studies from various articles that support the research process
