Abstract

The main purpose of this research is to identify the influence of product quality (X1) and service quality (X2) towards King Cake’s customer satisfaction (Y). The population of this research is King Cake’s customers. The sample size is 63 respondents. Respondents are selected using non-probability sampling, which is Purposive Sampling. This research uses multiple linear regression analysis. The validity and reliability testing to each indicator is taken before performing the multiple linear regression analysis. The research shows that  product quality (X1) and service quality (X2) significantly influences King Cake’s customer satisfaction (Y). The finding shows that service quality (X2) gives more significant value towards customer satisfaction (Y) than product quality (X1) does.

Abstract

Objective: Security, privacy, perceived value, and trust are essential elements in reusing intention in an e-commerce application. The lower the security, privacy, perceived value, and trust of a consumer will reduce the reuse intention of an e-commerce application because consumers have many choices. This study aims to analyze the relationship between security, privacy, perceived value, and trust in the intention to reuse e-commerce applications. Design/Methods/Approach: The objects of this study are consumers who have made transactions through the Tokopedia application at least once using the purposive sampling technique. The collection method distributes questionnaires online via google form and analyzes them using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method with the SmartPLS 3.3 application. The total number of respondents was 242 people. Findings: The results show that security and privacy had a significant positive effect on perceived value and trust, then perceived value had a significant positive impact on reuse intention. In contrast, the impact of faith on reuse intention was positive but not significant. Originality: This research topic is very important considering the lack of data at Tokopedia beginning of May 2020 was allegedly causing a decline in the number of Tokopedia users. It will become an important reference for many e-commerce in Indonesia, especially e-commerce companies. E-Commerce makes consumers return to use their services, or in this case, it is called the intention to reuse.

Abstract

In connection with the development of tourism in East Java from 2009 to 2011, it has shown that this sector has been indicated as having good prospect and progress. The purpose of this study was to analyze competitive advantage based on Knowledge Management (KM) through Intellectual Capital (IC) and Innovation at Surabaya Plaza Hotel. This study is a qualitative research using a case study approach. In collecting the data, an interview was done to the General Manager, the Resident Manager, eight Department Heads, the employees of the Month (EOM), the employees of the Year (EOY), and the supervisor of the Quarter (SOQ). Besides an interview, this study also conducted an observation. In addition, the reliability of this research was conducted by using triangulation technique. The results show that intangible asset is considered more important than tangible asset in the hotel and that it is probably important to evaluate IC, Innovation as well as KM with business performance. The synergy of KM, IC and Innovation aligned with business strategy has produced a competitive advantage.

Abstract

It is advisable that the banks should try hard to maximize their services for their customers.By doing so, it can also improve their customers loyalty. The purpose of this study is toanalyze whether the quality of services consist of tangibles, reliability, responsiveness,assurance and empathy has significant effect on customer loyalty. The data were collected bymeans of survey method by distributing the questionnaires to Britama savings customers inSurabaya. From the total of 366 questionnaires which were spread out, only 218 that couldbe used. The tool of study analysis was using multiple linear regression, overall responsesprovided by customers of BRI conferred a positive assessment regarding the quality ofservices available. The results of this research showed that the direct evidence, reliability,assurance and empathy have a significant influence on the customer loyalty at Bank RakyatIndonesia (BRI) Surabaya. It also can be used to improve the quality of services by makingthe right marketing strategy in order to maintain customer loyalty

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh information quality dan trust terhadap intensi pembelian secara online pada Lady Reptile. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah konsumen yang telah melakukan pembelian produk secara online pada Lady Reptile. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 68 responden dengan menggunakan metode pengambilan sampel non probabilitas yaitu convenience sampling. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan program SPSS 20.0. Analisis ini meliputi uji validitas dan reliabilitas, analisis regresi linier berganda, pengujian hipotesis melalui uji F dan uji t, analisis koefisien korelasi (R) dan determinasi berganda (R2), analisis koefisien korelasi (r) dan determinasi parsial (r2), serta uji asumsi klasik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa information quality dan trust berpengaruh terhadap intensi pembelian konsumen secara online pada Lady Reptile, baik secara simultan maupun parsial.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has a negative impact on the tourism and hospitality sector, one of which is PrimeBiz Hotel Surabaya (PHS). The lack of income for the hotel forces hotel management to think creatively and make the right decisions to maintain hotel operations. This study aims to describe the strategies that PHS has implemented during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method was carried out qualitatively, the data were obtained through structured interviews with key informants from management, marketing experts, hospitality experts and PHS consumers. The conclusion of this study are; first, the Covid-19 pandemic makes PHS management have to weigh income and expenditure to be balanced. Second, the marketing strategy implemented by PHS is to maximize the use of social media for all employees. Third, the strategy carried out by PHS is to continue to implement a multitasking system, employees must be able to innovate and make adjustments to conditions that occur in the future. Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of investment policy, debt policy, and dividend policy on firm value. The dependent variable in this study is the value of the company with the Price to Book Value (PBV) indicator. The independent variables in this study are investment policies with Price Earning Ratio (PER) indicators, debt policies with Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) indicators, dividend policies with Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) indicators. This study uses secondary data, the data obtained in the form of annual reports of manufacturing companies, basic and chemical industry sectors listed on the Stock Exchange in the 2014-2018 period. The sample in this study amounted to 13 companies. This study uses a purposive sampling method and the method of analyzing data in this study uses SPSS 22 for windows. The analysis showed that only partially investment policy (PER) had a positive and significant effect on company value (PBV), while debt policy (DER) and dividend policy (DPR) had a non-significant positive effect on firm value (PBV). Simultaneous test results of investment policy variables (PER), debt policy (DER), and dividend policy (DPR) have a significant positive effect on firm value (PBV).

Abstract

PT PAL Indonesia is one of the largest company engaged in the maritime field, the existence of competition at national and international very tight then the company should always have a good strategy in the field of technology and human resources, so in this study focused on the performance of employees in the engineering division general. The study is aim to determine the effect of environment, facilities, incentives and motivation to employees performance in PT PAL Indonesia general engineering division. Using the technique of analysis Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) - Partial Least Square (PLS). The result of this study is performance variable explained by environmental, facilities, incentives and motivation only 64,4%, while 35,6% explained by other variables, significant effect on the environment of motivation with the value of t statistic 3,412, significant effect on environment of performance variable with the value of t statistic 1,97, and significant effect on motivation of performance variable with the value of t statistic 1,82.

Abstract

There are five telecommunications operators in Indonesia, including Telkomsel, Indosat Ooredoo, XL Axiata, Tri (3), and Smart Telecom compete to bring the latest 4G technologies as part of corporate strategy into the forefront of mobile communications services. PT XYZ is a multinational company engaged in the field of telecommunications services. The management of PT XYZ Surabaya targeting employee reporting can be increased up to 100%. This study aims to determine how much influence the intrinsic and extrinsic motivation on employee performance PT XYZ Surabaya with SEM-PLS method. The results of this study are extrinsic motivation variable that is most dominant supervision directly affects the performance of employees. Besides the variable performance of employees able to be explained by 0.655 or 65.5% by variable intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation, while 34.5% is explained by other variables.

Abstract

This research conducted by background of “X” Agency East Java Province as one of the biggest agencies with the highest number of employees in East Java and has a very broad work scope because it is a merged from some sub agencies before. Various social issues of East Java governance in 2015 became the main task of “X” Agency East Java Province to be completed. In order to fulfill their roles, responsibilities, and functions as the government agencies that serve people, all employees in “X” Agency East Java Province are required to be able to have optimal performance. This study aimed to analyze factors that can affect the performance of employees so can provide feedback to “X” Agency East Java Province in terms of corrective measures to be taken in the future in order to always have optimal performance. This study used partial least squares analysis through SmartPLS 3.0 program. Independent variables analyzed in this study were competence, motivation,leadership, and work environment towards dependent variable thus stress management and employee performance. Random sampling taken at 160 employees of “X” Agency East Java Province. Data collection process conducted by questionnaires distribution. The result showed that only competence and work environment has a significant effects on stress management, while stress management itself and competence also have a significant effects on employee performance. Other variables that is motivation and leadership does not have a significant effects on the dependentvariable stress management and employee performance. Suggestion for improvement are given to the “X” Agency East Java Province at the end of the study in order to further improve their performance.
