Abstract

Social media plays a strategic role in the digital era, especially in building brand awareness. In the context of increasingly competitive business, brand awareness is a crucial element that influences consumer preferences. To stay relevant and competitive, RUCAS implements a product differentiation strategy that not only establishes a strong brand image, but also offers unique values that are difficult for competitors to replicate. In Indonesia, the local fashion industry shows significant growth. This research aims to analyze RUCAS' social media campaign strategy on TikTok platform in building brand awareness. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data triangulation techniques to explore how the uploaded content is able to build an emotional connection with the audience. This approach is based on interpretive theory, which emphasizes understanding subjective meanings from the informants' perspectives. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews with four main informants and one key informant, who were selected through purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the RUCAS social media campaign succeeded in attracting public attention and conveying social messages about diversity and equality. The campaign changed perceptions of marginalized groups and formed a new understanding of the importance of social awareness.

Abstract

Arabic plays an important role in education, but many students have difficulty writing due to their weak mastery of basic grammar. This research aims to analyze the relationship between mastery of mufradat (vocabulary) and qawaid (grammar) on students' ability to write Arabic. This study was quantitative with a correlational design. The sample consisted of 31 students who answered a questionnaire containing 30 statements and a test to measure mastery of vocabulary, qawaid, and writing skills. Data analysis was conducted using validity, reliability (Cronbach's alpha), and Pearson correlation. All questionnaire items were declared valid. The results showed that 74.2% of students had good vocabulary mastery, 83.9% had a good understanding of qawaid, and 61.3% had good writing skills. The correlation test produced a correlation coefficient of 0.691, indicating a positive and significant relationship between vocabulary and qawaid mastery and writing ability. These findings emphasize the importance of mastering understanding and grammar as the basis for learning Arabic. This research is expected to contribute to teachers in developing effective learning strategies, as well as encouraging students to actively broaden their horizons and understand qawaid, in order to improve their Arabic writing skills accurately and communicatively.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of a behavioristic environment in Arabic language learning at the Markaz Lughoh of Al-Ittifaqiah Islamic Boarding School and to analyze its impact on students’ language skill development. This research employed a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively based on behavioristic theory as the main conceptual framework. The results show that the Markaz Lughoh consistently applies core behavioristic principles such as stimulus-response, reinforcement, repetition, and modeling. Intensive habituation in using Arabic, supported by a reward and punishment system, successfully shaped positive and sustainable language behavior. The implementation of this strategy significantly improved students’ four Arabic language skills kalam (speaking), istima’ (listening), qira’ah (reading), and kitabah (writing) and fostered a disciplined, active, and communicative learning environment. Thus, the application of a behavioristic environment at Markaz Lughoh has proven effective in holistically enhancing students’ Arabic language competence.

Abstract

The implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) in Islamic education has become a crucial issue for improving service quality, learning, and institutional governance amid the challenges of globalization and the digital era. This study aims to explore the implementation of TQM in Islamic educational institutions and identify the barriers and their contribution to improving educational quality. The research method is a descriptive, qualitative approach, using in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis across several Islamic schools and madrasas that have implemented TQM. The results show that although TQM has excellent potential to improve educational quality, its implementation is still hampered by a hierarchical organizational culture, a mismatch between modern managerial principles and Islamic educational culture, and limited infrastructure and human resources. This study concludes that to increase the effectiveness of TQM in Islamic education, there needs to be a more contextual and adaptive adjustment to the management model, as well as the strengthening of the integration of Islamic values across all managerial aspects. The contribution of this research is the development of a TQM model grounded more in Islamic moral and spiritual values.
