Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) pengaruh persepsi kompetensi pedagogik guru dan motivasi belajar secara bersama-sama terhadap prestasi belajar bahasa Indonesia siswa SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Bekasi, 2) pengaruh persepsi kompetensi pedagogik guru terhadap prestasi belajar bahasa Indonesia siswa SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Bekasi, dan 3) pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar bahasa Indonesia siswa SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Bekasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Populasi penelitian yaitu siswa SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Bekasi dengan jumlah 827 siswa. Sampel penelitian yaitu dengan jumlah 89 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel secara acak. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi berganda. Hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh simpulan sebagai berikut: 1) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan persepsi kompetensi pedagogik guru dan motivasi belajar secara bersama-sama terhadap prestasi belajar bahasa Indonesia siswa SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Bekasi. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai Sig = 0,000 < 0,05 dan Fhitung = 42,828. 2) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan persepsi kompetensi pedagogik guru terhadap prestasi belajar bahasa Indonesia siswa SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Bekasi. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai Sig = 0,000 < 0,05 dan thitung = 8,118. 3) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar bahasa Indonesia siswa SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Bekasi. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai Sig = 0,047 < 0,05 dan thitung = 2,018. Hasil penelitian ini berguna untuk meningkatkan hasil prestasi belajar bahasa Indonesia di tingkat SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Bekasi. Kata Kunci: Persepsi Kompetensi Pedagogik Guru, Motivasi Belajar, dan Prestasi Belajar Bahasa Indonesia

Abstract

This study aims to describe the condition of bilingualism and multilingualism, as well as language attitudes in the people of Subang. The research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method. The data source is a list of the intensity of language use and language attitudes used by the people in Subang in their daily interactions. Respondents in this study amounted to 103 respondents based on social indices such as differences in gender, age, and level of education. The research instrument used is the instrument "Basa Urang" from Chon. The data analysis of this study used the model recommended by Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of the study concluded as follows: 1) the people of Subang are bilingual and multilingual people; 2) the language attitude of the people of Subang to local languages, national languages, and foreign languages tends to be positive. Keywords: bilingualism, multilingualism, language attitudes, siciolinguistics

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to show the cosmopolitan behavior of the characters in the novel Kapas-Kapas Di Langit by Pipiet Senja based on a review of the sociology of literature and its implementation for literary learning in SMA/MA.  This research is qualitative, with a descriptive method, and uses content analysis techniques on a primary data to be studied.  The data that becomes the object of research is a novel entitled Kapas-Kapas Di Langit by Pipiet Senja.  The results of the discussion found an analysis of 7 (seven) cosmopolitan identities as many as 26 findings, including (a) global or local hybridization that has common interests as many as 3 analysis findings, (b) competence (intercultural) in respecting local cultural diversity as much as 2 analysis findings.  , (c) willingness and openness to involve themselves in cultural diversity as many as 6 analysis findings, (d) mobility to travel as much as 1 analysis finding, (e) refusing the "tourist" type approach as many as 4 analysis findings, (  f) desire to be able to feel variations in citizenship and postmodern as many as 4 analysis findings, and (g) critical attitude towards their own nation and country of origin as many as 6 analysis findings. Keywords: Cosmopolitan, novel, sociology of literature.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh pemahaman mendalam tentang penggunaan dan manfaat paragraf deskriptif serta kalimat majemuk dalam penulisan novel Bocah Penghalau Kera karya Shintha Rosse Kamlet. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi. Teknik pencatatan data menggunakan studi dokumentasi dengan teknik kepustakaan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menguraikan isi berdasarkan manfaat paragraf deskriptif serta kalimat majemuk dalam novel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan paragraf deskriptif dengan pendekatan realistis dan impresionistis sebanyak 72 paragraf. Penggunaan kalimat majemuk dalam paragraf deskriptif sebanyak 46 kalimat. Simpulan penelitian ini secara substansi meliputi empat bagian berikut.  (1) Paragraf deskriptif dalam penulisan novel Bocah Penghalau kera karya Shintha Rosse Kamlet menggunakan pendekatan realistis dan impresionistis. Kedua pendekatan itu dipilih agar pembaca mempunyai pengalaman realistis, rinci, dan asli seperti berhadapan langsung sehingga diperoleh kesan mendalam melalui interpretasi objek. (2) Paragraf deskriptif bermanfaat untuk menggambarkan tempat dan suasana cerita serta penggambaran tokoh. (3) Ada beberapa jenis kalimat majemuk yang digunakan dalam novel tersebut: setara, tidak setara, dan campuran. Penggunaan kalimat majemuk dimaksudkan agar pembaca memperoleh pemahaman tentang penggunaan jenis kalimat majemuk dalam penulisan novel. (4) Kalimat majemuk berperan untuk mengembangkan penulisan novel dan menjelaskan kalimat topik dalam paragraf sehingga terbangun paragraf yang utuh.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to find 1) The effects of mastery of figurative language and reading interest together on the ability to perceive short stories in private junior high school students in Bekasi Regency. 2) The effect of mastery of figurative language on the ability to perceive short stories in private junior high school students in Bekasi Regency. 3) The effect of reading interest on the ability to perceive short stories in private junior high school students in Bekasi Regency. The sample used in this study was 75 students with simple random sampling technique. The statistical model used is multiple linear regression. The results of the study concluded: 1) There are a significant effect of mastery of figurative language and reading interest together on the ability to perceive short stories in private junior high school students in Bekasi Regency.It is proved by sig. 0.000 < 0.05 and Fobserved= 88.739; 2) There is a significant effect of mastery of figurative language on the ability to perceive short stories in private junior high school students in Bekasi Regency. It is proved by Sig. = 0,000 <0.05 and tobserved= 6,184; 3) There is a significant effect of reading interest on the ability to perceive short stories in private junior high school students in Bekasi Regency. It is proved by Sig. = 0,021 <0.05 and tobserved= 2,367. Keywords:Mastery of Figurative Language, Interest in Reading, Ability to Perceive Short Stories

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find: (1) the effect of interest and independence in learning on the skills of writing exposition text, (2) the effect of interest in learning on the skill of writing exposition text, and (3) the effect of independent learning on the skill of writing exposition text. The research method used in this research is a survey and the model used is multiple linear regression. The result of the study concluded (1) There is a significant effect of interest and independence in learning together on the skills of writing exposition texts for State Senior High School students in Depok City. This is evidenced by the acquisition of the value of Sig. = 0.000 > 0.05 and  = 39.380. (2) There is a significant effect of interest in learning on the skills of writing exposition texts for State Senior High School students in Depok City. This is evidenced by the acquisition of the value of Sig. = 0.000 < 0.05 and  = 3.705. (3) There is a significant effect of learning independence on the skills of writing exposition texts for State Senior High School students in Depok City. This is evidenced by the acquisition of the value of Sig. = 0.000 < 0.05 and  = 4.628. Accordingly, it can be concluded that the high interest and independence in learning have an effect on improving the skills of writing expository texts.Keywords: Interest in Learning, Independence in Learning, Writing Exposition Text Skills.

Abstract

Novel Kincir Waktu adalah novel genre detektif yang isinya mencari kebenaran dan dalang dibalik peristiwa kerusuhan 98 yang menjadi catatan suram bagi negara Indonesia. Hal yang menarik dalam novel ini adalah tokoh utama dan tokok-tokoh pembantu mayoritas perempuan. Hal ini jarang diceritakan dalam novel di mana tokoh utama dan tokoh pendukungnya didominasi perempuan.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh pemahaman yang mendalam tentang peran perempuan dan ketidakadilan terhadap perempuan yang terdapat dalam novel Kincir Waktu karya Akmal Nasery Basral. Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk menganalisis novel ini adalah kualitatif karena uraian datanya bersifat deskriptif, menganalisis data secara induktif dan rancangan yang bersifat sementara. Selain itu penulis menggunakan studi analisis wacana kritis Sara Mills dalam menjawab rumusan masalah mengenai peran dan ketidakadilan terhadap perempuan. Hasil penelitiannya dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1. peran perempuan yang terdapat dalam novel ada dua yaitu peran publik dan peran ganda, 2. ketidakadilan dalam novel Kincir Waktu, meliputi: (1) marginalisasi; (2) subordinasi; (3) stereotip; (4) kekerasan dalam bentuk perkosaan, pelacuran, dan kekerasan fisik.

Abstract

That the research aimed to investigate the relationship between perceptions of learning models, motivation to learn, and article writing skills among SMKS students in South Tangerang City. Here's a brief summary of your study's findings:1. There is a significant influence of both perceptions of learning models and motivation to learn on article writing skills among SMKS students in South Tangerang City. This is supported by the low p-value (Sig.) of 0.000, which is less than the common significance threshold of 0.05. The F-count of 17.165 and R value of 0.511 indicate that 51.1% of the variability in article writing skills can be explained by the combined influence of perceptions of learning models and motivation to learn. The remaining 48.9% of variability is attributed to unexamined factors.2. Perceptions of learning models have a significant influence on the article writing skills of SMKS students in South Tangerang City. The low significance level (Sig.) of 0.000, which is below the threshold of 0.05, and the provided t-count (t-value) of 0.907 indicate a statistically significant relationship between these variables.3. Motivation to learn also has a significant influence on article writing skills among SMKS students in South Tangerang City. The Sig. value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05, and the t-count (t-value) of 5.318 suggest a statistically significant relationship between motivation to learn and article writing skills. Overall, this study suggests that both perceptions of learning models and motivation to learn are important factors that influence article writing skills among SMKS students in South Tangerang City, and these findings are supported by statistically significant results.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pendidik berkualitas unggul dan berkarakter dalam novel Sang Guru Pamong karya Indrarto dan Jose Rizal menggunakan pendekatan eksistensialisme Nietzche. Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk menganalisis novel ini adalah kualitatif, karena uraian datanya bersifat deskriptif, menganalisis data secara induktif dan rancangan yang bersifat sementara. Selain itu penulis menggunakan pendekatan eksistensialisme Nietzsche dalam menjawab rumusan masalah mengenai pendidik berkualitas unggul dan berkarakter. Hasil penelitiannya dapat disimpulkan bahwa: Pertama, pendidik berkualitas unggul dalam novel biografi Sang Guru Pamong karya Indrarto dan Jose Rizal: (1) berjiwa kuat, (a) Berani, yakni berani mengakui kekalahan secara jujur lebih baik daripada mendapat predikat terbaik atau memperoleh kemenangan dengan cara-cara yang tidak jujur; (b) Menjadi diri sendiri, yakni komitmen terhadap idealisme diri di mana pun berada; (c) Berproses, yakni manusia bukanlah sesuatu yang sudah selesai, manusia itu “menjadi” artinya terus berproses.. (2) berjiwa Merdeka, merdeka bagi seorang pendidik berarti memiliki independensi tinggi dalam menyampaikan keilmuannya. Kedua, pendidik yang berkarakter dalam novel biografi Sang Guru Pamong karya Indrarto dan Jose Rizal: (a) Integritas yang tinggi, (b) Keberagamaan, (c) Cinta Ilmu, (d) Bersyukur, (e) Mandiri, (f) Jujur dan Sportif.

Abstract

The research objectives are 1) To describe the moral values in the children's novel Mata and Nyala Api Purba by Okky Madasari. 2) To describe the personal values contained in the children's novel Mata dan Nyala Api Purba by Okky Madasari. The research method used in the study is descriptive qualitative method, which is a way of solving problems by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data. The approach used in this research is formalist approach. The conclusion obtained from the research of moral and personal values in the novel Anak Mata and Nyala Api Purba by Okky Madasari is the first moral value into 3 kinds. 1) human relationship with God is not found. 2) human relationships with other humans have 13 findings. 3) human relationship with oneself has 11 findings. Second, personal values in Okky Madasari's novel Mata and Nyala Api Purba are divided into 3 types. 1) the value of emotional development has 21 findings. 2) the value of intellectual development has 25 findings. 3) the value of imagination development has 12 findings.Keywords: Moral Value, Personal Value, Children's Novel Mata dan Nyala Api Purba by Okky Madasari
