Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of working capital management on firm value in cement companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the 2012-2017 period, either directly or indirectly through profitability. This study uses a quantitative approach. Sampling using the saturated sampling method. There are six cement companies that meet the categories as samples. Furthermore, Partial Least Square (PLS) is used for analysis and hypothesis testing for testing the profitability variable as a mediation. The results show that working capital that is managed effectively and efficiently can improve financial performance so as to increase firm value. The results of the mediation test show that profitability positively mediates the effect of working capital management on firm value. This explains that the implementation of good working capital management can increase the profit generated by the company so that the company value increases, which ultimately investors respond positively.DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/afr.v3i2.5807

Abstract

Berdasarkan berbagai permasalahan yang dialami organisasi pemuda desa, maka tujuan kegiatan abdimas ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan organisasi pemuda desa dan karang taruna desa di bidang tatakelola organisasi dan program kerja. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah ceramah, diskusi, praktek, pendampingan dan konsultasi. Pelatihan ini menggunakan pendekatan daring media Google Meet dan Whatsapp Group, dengan konsep di dampingi oleh peserta KKN Tematik Satgas Covid-19 sebagai pendamping lapangan. Hasil dari kegiatan abdimas kepada sepuluh (10) organisasi pemuda desa dan karang taruna desa antara lain : 1) Pree test dengan hasil test dari 20 peserta atau 100% tidak ada yang memiliki jawaban benar secara keseluruhan, rata-rata jawaban hanya benar 60%, 2) Kegiatan tutorial dengan hasil kegiatan adalah peserta sangat antusias mendengarkan paparan materi dari mentor, dan 3) Hasil post test menunjukkan bahwa sebagian peserta telah memahami materi dan memahami langkah-langkah yang akan dilakukan selanjutnya. Hal ini terbukti bahwa sebagian besar 80% peserta memiliki nilai post test yang cukup sempurna yaitu 95 dari grade 100. Artinya bahwa kegiatan abdimas ini telah mampu meningkatkan kemampuan dan pengetahuan mitra abdimas.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini fokus membahas bagaimana peran digital marketing sebagai strategi pemasaran bagi Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) melalui konsep pemberdayaan ekonomi kerakyatan. Karena UMKM adalah sektor ekonomi masyarakat yang menjadi benteng menghadapi krisis. Oleh karenanya perlu strategi inovasi dalam mengembangkannya. Strategi ini merupakan langkah adaptasi untuk dapat bertahan dan bertransformasi menjadi UMKM unggulan di era revolusi industri keempat dan di masa pandemi. Covid-19. Penulisan artikel ini menggunakan penelusuran literatur dan memaknainya secara objektif melalui analisis masalah yang mendalam. Penulisan dengan metode kualitatif dapat menunjukkan interpretasi yang merupakan produk atau konsekuensi logis dari data yang diperoleh selama penelitian. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa pemasaran produk digital memberikan pelanggan kaum muda untuk memperoleh informasi tentang suatu produk dan dapat bertransaksi berbasis internet. Penjual dapat memantau perkembangan pasar, memperoleh informasi tentang kebutuhan, dan keinginan calon pelanggan. Selain itu, pemasaran digital lebih efektif dan efisien tanpa perlu sering melakukan mobilisasi. Kata Kunci: Covid19; Pemasaran Digital, Pemasaran; Bisnis; UMKM Abstrack This study focuses on discussing the role of digital marketing as a marketing strategy for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through the concept of empowering the people's economy. Because MSMEs are the economic sector of the community which is a stronghold in facing the crisis. therefore need an innovation strategy in developing it. This strategy is an adaptation step to be able to survive and transform into leading MSMEs in the era of the fourth industrial revolution and during the pandemic. Covid-19. The writing of this article uses literature search and interprets it objectively through in-depth problem analysis. Writing with qualitative methods can show interpretations which are a product or logical consequence of the data obtained during the study. The results of the study explain that digital product marketing provides young customers with information about a product and can make internet-based transactions. Sellers can monitor market developments, obtain information about the needs and wants of potential customers. In addition, digital marketing is more effective and efficient without the need for frequent mobilization. Keywords: Covid-19; Digital Marketing, Marketing; Business; MSMEs

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between experiential marketing and consumer satisfaction. The meta-analysis technique uses with a sample of 36 articles published from 2010 to 2018. The artifact corrected is a sample error. This research aimed to integrating previous research. With the 95% confidence intervals, this study indicated that there is a significant influence between experiential marketing and consumer satisfaction (r = 0.507). Furthermore, this study also found that there's a significantly influences from sense, fell, think and relate to consumer satisfaction. Moreover, the influence between experiential marketing and consumer satisfaction is strong. The results of the meta-analysis also show the average value of population correlation from sense, feel, think, act and relate to customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of gender diversity and financial ratios on financial distress. The data used in this study are secondary data. The population used is manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2014-2018 period with a purposive sampling technique. The number of data on manufacturing companies is as many as 141 companies, but there are only 94 companies that fall into the research criteria. The analytical method used is Logistic Regression Analysis. Based on the research results, gender diversity, net profit margin, current ratio, and debt ratio have no effect on financial distress, return on assets has a negative effect on financial distress, and working capital to total assets has a positive effect on financial distress

Abstract

The changes in behavior patterns and consumer needs due to the development of technology and information flow makes more practical behavior which means consumers need speed and accuracy in meeting their needs. This led to the ever-changing e-commerce model developed with more modern packaging of technology and information. People in general mention that e-commerce is the answer to the speed and accuracy of fulfillment ofneeds wheree-commerce offers one of its competitive advantages is removing the concept of space andtime. The purpose of this study is to know and analyze the influence of privacy, security, and trust on the intention of shopping online in Shopee.co.id bothpartial and simultaneous and know and analyze which independent variables have the dominant effect on the intention of shopping onlineinShopee.co.id.The type of research used in this study is explanatory research with survey method and the number of samples in this study as many as 220 respondents. The sampling technique is obtained using accidental sampling method. The data source uses primary data and secondary data i.e.literature and updated data from the internet. While the data analysis technique used the quantitative analysis using analysis throughSPSS software, by Linear Regression Analysis.From the results of the study by multiple linear regression analysis using F-test, it can be concluded that privacy variables, to security, and trust has a simultaneous influence on the variable intention of shopping, then the results of the analysis of t-test can beconcludedvariable of privacy, security, and trust partially significant effect on the variable intention of shopping, and based on the results of the coefficient of regression, it can be found the variables that have a dominant effect on the intention of shopping online in the Shopee.co.idis a security variable.

Abstract

It is still rare for research to include the concept of halal tourism in measuring the destination image and using the halal destination image as a function of the revisit intention. By looking at the importance of measuring revisit intention as part of tourism marketing, this study aims to analyze: (1) the direct effect of e-WOM on the halal destination image; (2) the direct effect of e-WOM on revisit intention; (3) the direct effect of the halal destination image on the revisit intention; and (4) the indirect effect of e-WOM on the revisit intention, through the halal destination image. The study was conducted on 100 tourists who has visited and seen social media of tourist destinations in Sumenep Regency. Data analysis was performed with Path Analysis. From the analysis, the results obtained that e-WOM has a direct effect on the halal destination image. The halal destination image has a direct effect on the revisit intention at tourist destinations in Sumenep Regency, and the halal destination image mediates the indirect effect of e-WOM on the revisit intention.

Abstract

Corporate governance mechanism is a form of supervision of the company to run effectively and efficiently to improve firm performance and value. The supervision that corporate governance mechanism provide is to lesser the agency conflicts due the different interest between manager and owner such earnings management that is detrimental to shareholders. This study examines corporate governance as a supervisory mechanism that aims to improve firm performance, value and minimize earnings management. Then, we analyze the possibility that corporate governance mechanisms can improve firm’s performance and value by controlling earnings management. Using data of banking companies from 2018-2019 then tested using partial least squares with the WarpPLS application, we found evidence that corporate governance mechanisms positively influence the company's financial performance. Corporate governance mechanism has a negative effect on firm value. Corporate governance mechanisms have a negative effect on earnings management. Then earnings management does not provide a mediating effect in the relationship of corporate governance with the company's financial performance and firm value.

Abstract

Lecturers from Universitas Negeri Malang conducted Overseas Partnership Service activities at Sanggar Bimbingan Kuala Langat, Selangor, Malaysia. This service activity aims to enhance the quality of teaching and the understanding of both teachers and parents of students in the guidance studio, aligning with SDGs Goal 4, which is "Quality Education." The need for this service activity arises from the teachers' lack of understanding regarding learning media and models applicable in the classroom. Several specific activities were carried out, including a workshop titled "Enhancing Learning Quality and Teacher-Parent Understanding at Sanggar Belajar Kuala Langat, Selangor, Malaysia, Using the Flipped Classroom Learning Model." These activities also included a video tutorial demonstrating "How to Utilize Google Classroom as a supportive tool for the Flipped Classroom learning model" and assistance in setting up Google Classroom accounts and using the application. Through these activities, it was observed that both teachers and parents gained a better understanding of the flipped classroom learning model and the use of Google Classroom as a teaching tool. Consequently, it is anticipated that the learning quality at Sanggar Bimbingan Kuala Langat will see improvement.

Abstract

Background: The problem that occurs to the participants is that the learning media used in the learning process is currently not up to date, so that technological updates are needed to improve the quality of learning. However, to facilitate learning through the integration of the latest technology requires various teacher competencies, namely knowledge, attitudes and skills. Contribution: The contribution of this program is that the community service to conduct training and mentoring activities on how to develop metaversal-based virtual reality learning media to improve the quality of teachers at state vocational high school 1 Ngawi. Method: This service is carried out through five stages of activity, including analysis of field needs, manufacture of virtual reality products, early socialization, provide assistance and evaluation of the results of using virtual reality. Results: The result of this service activity is that the trainees understand the steps for developing learning media with virtual reality technology. This is based on the results of evaluating the achievement of training and mentoring programs involving 27 participants showing that based on the aspects of convenience, usefulness, attractiveness, and satisfaction, an average score of 92% is obtained. Conclusion: The conclusion of this program is that the metaverse-based virtual reality learning media that was introduced to the participants was very easy to apply, useful, interesting, and the participants were satisfied with the training provided
