Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui urgensi kesadaran beragama dalam mengatasi problematika di media sosial. Penggunaan media sosial sebagai imbas kemajuan teknologi tak terlepas dari maraknya problematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kesadaran beragama berperan penting dalam mengatasi problematika di media sosial dilihat dari dua aspek: pertama, faktor pendukung terbentuknya kesadaran beragama di media sosial antara lain meliputi pola asuh orang tua, peran guru, dan kurikulum. Kedua, fungsi kesadaran beragama di media sosial terdiri dari fungsi umum dan fungsi khusus.

Abstract

This research uncovers the Islamic religious education teachers’ professionalism and competence issues in the Society 5.0 era. The research employed the Systematic Literature Review method. Articles were obtained from national and international journals. Researchers chose 15 articles from hundreds of relevant articles in the last 5 years. Then, the researchers analyzed and tabulated the tabular data with the name of the researcher, year of publication, publisher, and research results. The research indicated that Islamic religious education teacher professionalism and competence were strongly supported by efforts to increase the education level, training, and teacher upgrading programs. In addition, teacher quality and professionalism needed to be improved through cluster activity centers, teacher working groups, and the Republic of Indonesia Teachers’ Association. It was also necessary to increase a work ethic based on service. The conclusion and implications of improving human resource competencies are developing students’ abilities. Ultimately, teachers will always be active and require self-regulation to overcome the industrial revolution toward a golden Indonesia in 2045.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the procedures for developing PAI teaching materials. The literature review research method was used to understand key concepts and best practices in developing PAI teaching materials. The main data sources include literature from the fields of Islamic Religious Education and educational psychology, as well as the views of educational practitioners involved in the development process. Data collection techniques include searching, selecting and analyzing relevant literature to formulate a comprehensive framework for compiling effective PAI teaching materials. The results of the systematic and comprehensive development of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teaching materials show a significant increase in students' motivation and understanding of the material. The discussion in this article highlights that teaching materials that are designed in an attractive and easy to understand manner can facilitate a more effective learning process. It was also stated that the stages of needs analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation are a systematic approach that is crucial in creating responsive and relevant teaching materials. The importance of understanding the local context and characteristics of students is emphasized as an essential factor in ensuring the success of developing teaching materials. Continuous evaluation of the teaching materials that have been developed is necessary for adaptation and quality improvement according to practical feedback. In conclusion, the development of effective PAI teaching materials not only supports students' learning needs but also strengthens teachers' capacity to deliver the material efficiently.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between the value of responsibility in Islamic educational communication and the level of learning independence among first-semester mahasantri at Ma’had Al-Jami’ah UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. This research employed a quantitative method with data collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire administered to 50 mahasantri. Descriptive analysis showed that the average score of responsibility was 62.56 and learning independence was 57.44, with standard deviations of 4.65 and 5.19, respectively. The Shapiro–Wilk normality test indicated that both variables were normally distributed (Sig. > 0.05), while the linearity test confirmed a significant linear relationship between the variables (Sig. = 0.000). Hypothesis testing using the Product Moment correlation revealed an rxy value of 0.537, exceeding the critical value (rtabel = 0.279) at a 5% significance level. This indicates a positive, significant, and moderate relationship between responsibility in Islamic educational communication and learning independence. The coefficient of determination (r² = 0.2884) shows that responsibility contributes 28.84% to learning independence. The t-test further supports these findings, with thitung = 4.41 surpassing ttabel = 2.01, leading to the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Hₐ). In conclusion, this study demonstrates that the value of responsibility in Islamic educational communication plays a crucial role in shaping the learning independence of mahasantri. These findings reinforce the Self-Regulated Learning theory, which asserts that responsibility is a fundamental foundation in the development of individual learning autonomy. Abstract

The global reality, characterized by numerous transformations across various fields, including education, appears to be inversely proportional to the quality of educational outputs. Paradoxically, the educational process conducted by the Prophet Muhammad, despite its contextual limitations, successfully established an exemplary educational model, culminating in the emergence of the finest generation in Islamic history. Arising from this observation, this research aims to examine the pedagogical practices of the Prophet Muhammad as a foundational framework for modern Islamic education, with a specific focus on the educational media he employed. The study is guided by two primary research questions: first, how do the pedagogical practices of the Prophet serve as a basis for constructing modern education? Second, what is the relationship between the Prophet’s educational model and modern education in fostering spiritual embodiment and meaning-making? These questions are investigated and analyzed using a descriptive-analytical approach based on library research. The findings indicate that the fundamental framework of the Prophet’s pedagogical practice was underpinned by his exemplarity and a worldview that each individual should be balanced. This framework was operationalized through three integrated forms of learning media: textual (through reading, writing, and memorization), demonstrative, and critical thinking. Each of these forms possesses distinct benefits and objectives, yet they function synergistically, reinforcing one another within a holistic system. Consequently, the Prophetic pedagogical practice does not rely solely on the verbal transmission of concepts. It comprehensively incorporates experiential learning, moral exemplarity, a deep understanding of learners, and an emotional approach that simultaneously engages students’ cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains.

Abstract

This study explores the concept of Prophetic Education in the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as an integrative paradigm that unites knowledge (‘ilm), faith (īmān), and morality (akhlāq) within the aims of contemporary Islamic education. In Islam, education is not merely an intellectual process but also a means of spiritual purification (tazkiyah al-nafs) and moral formation (ta’dīb), as emphasized in the Prophet’s saying: “Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim” (Ibn Mājah, no. 224). Using a qualitative-descriptive approach with thematic (maudhu‘i) analysis, this study examines educational hadiths found in the Kutub al-Sittah and supports them with secondary literature from scholars such as al-Attas (1980), Kuntowijoyo (1991), and al-Ghazālī (2000). The analysis employs a contextual hermeneutic method to interpret the normative and spiritual meanings of the hadiths in light of modern educational challenges. The findings reveal that Prophetic Education encompasses three core dimensions: (1) Knowledge (epistemological), emphasizing the acquisition and application of knowledge for goodness and wisdom; (2) Faith (theological), fostering sincerity and spiritual awareness in the learning process; and (3) Morality (ethical-social), directing knowledge toward virtuous action and human civilization. These three dimensions form a holistic unity in nurturing insān kāmil—the complete human who is intellectually enlightened, spiritually mature, and morally upright. In the context of the Fifth Industrial Revolution and the digital era, Prophetic Education offers an alternative paradigm for Islamic education to address moral degradation and the secularization of knowledge through integrative curricula, adab-based pedagogy, and teacher exemplarity as the inheritors of prophetic values. Therefore, Prophetic Education in the hadiths of the Prophet ﷺ is not only theologically grounded but also contextually relevant and practically applicable as a foundational model for holistic, ethical, and civilization-oriented Islamic education.

Abstract

This research investigates the integration of Tarbawi Hadith in the development of intellect (ʿaql), heart (qalb), and soul (nafs) among elementary students at SD Al-Falah Boarding School. The study adopts a qualitative case study approach, utilizing classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers, and document analysis to explore how Tarbawi Hadith is embedded within the school’s educational practices. The findings reveal that the systematic inclusion of selected prophetic traditions into the curriculum not only enhances students’ cognitive abilities but also nurtures their emotional intelligence and spiritual awareness. Teachers employ various strategies, such as reflective discussions, storytelling, and value-based activities, to internalize the messages of the Hadith and encourage students to apply them in daily life. The integration process is supported by a school culture that emphasizes character building, discipline, and a strong sense of community. As a result, students demonstrate improved moral reasoning, empathy, self-control, and a deeper understanding of Islamic values. The study highlights the pivotal role of Tarbawi Hadith as a source of holistic education, fostering balanced development across intellectual, emotional, and spiritual domains. It also identifies challenges, such as the need for ongoing teacher training and curriculum development, to ensure the effective implementation of integrative approaches. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan merumuskan kontribusi institusional Pesantren terhadap pengembangan pemahaman Hadis tentang Pendidikan Rohani. Studi ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya disparitas metodologis antara kajian Hadis Tarbawi di institusi formal yang cenderung tekstual, dengan implementasi Pendidikan Rohani di Pesantren yang bersifat aplikatif-praksis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka (library research), yang memfokuskan analisis pada sumber primer Hadis Tarbawi serta sistem internalisasi nilai di Pesantren melalui tradisi riyadhah dan mujahadah. Temuan riset menunjukkan bahwa Pesantren memiliki kontribusi unik melalui sistem living Hadith yang tercermin dalam praktik spiritual santri. Berdasarkan analisis tersebut, penelitian ini merumuskan Model Pengembangan Pemahaman Hadis Pendidikan Rohani yang kontekstual dan aplikatif berbasis sistem spiritual Pesantren, yang direkomendasikan sebagai rujukan metodologis baru bagi kajian Hadis Tarbawi di lembaga akademik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi bahan ajar Bahasa Arab di Madrasah Aliyah. Tujuan evaluasi ini adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas buku teks Bahasa Arab kelas X berdasarkan Kurikulum 2013 yang diterbitkan oleh Kementerian Agama Republik Indonesia pada tahun 2014. Kurikulum 2013 merupakan kurikulum yang berorientasi pada penguatan karakter dan kompetensi, yang menuntut peserta didik aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Buku teks Bahasa Arab dievaluasi dengan menggunakan pendekatan ilmiah untuk mengetahui kualitasnya. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan menekankan pada pemahaman mendalam terhadap kualitas suatu permasalahan, bukan pada hasil berupa angka, melainkan deskripsi sistematis mengenai fakta dan karakteristik objek serta subjek yang diteliti. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa dari aspek penyajian, buku teks ini sudah tersusun secara sistematis, koheren, konsisten, dan seimbang antar bab. Namun, dari aspek pendukung penyajian, buku ini belum memuat daftar referensi atau pendukung yang lengkap. Selain itu, keterhubungan antarkalimat masih tergolong rumit. Sementara itu, dari aspek kebahasaan, masih ditemukan beberapa kesalahan konseptual, terutama dalam penggunaan huruf alif dan hamzah.
