Abstract

Abstract: Patient safety culture in the organization, directly related to the individualattitudes and motivation to report any patient safety incidents. Openness attitudes to report any incidents is one indicator of patient safety culture in the internalization of individual behavior. Attitudes that do not support incident reporting on the staff, especially the nurses, will hamper efforts to create safe care because the absence of an incident report will have an impact that is hospital not aware of any potential warning of the dangers that can cause errors. This study is non experimental research with the aim of using correlative descriptive cross sectional design. The independent variable in this study is a patient safety culture while the dependent variable is the attitude of patient safety incidents reported. The results showed that simultaneous patient safety culture significantly influence the attitude of reported incidents. Partially organizational learning and continuous improvement does not significantly influence the attitude of patient safety incidents reported, Teamwork significant influence on the attitude of reported incidents, openness of communication significantly influence the attitude of reported incidents and the responses not to punish a mistake does not significantly influence the attitude of reported incidents. Abstract

Creating change readiness may be one of the key factors in determining whether a given change intervention will ultimately be successful or not. For higher education institution to assist academic society in being motivated and prepared for change, it is essential that leaders, lecturers, employees, and also students understand factors that may influence readiness for change. The purpose of this research study was to investigate the impact of human resource management intervention consisting of goal setting, performance appraisal, and reward system toward readiness for change. The data was collected through a survey using self-reported questionnaire and accidental sampling. Survey responses collected from a sample of 100 university students in three departments in higher education organization which are continuing the process of transformation. The findings indicate that there are significant effect of performance appraisal on readiness for change. This study were also found significant effect of reward system toward readiness for change. However, the results indicate that goal setting has no impact on readiness for change. Additionally, the implications and applications of these findings are discussed.

Abstract

The objective of this quantitative study is to investigate the mediating role of employee engagement in the effects of talent management and employer branding on employee retention. Using census sampling, all 84 employees of Department of Human Resources, Organization, and Culture at the Financial Services Authority were involved as the research respondents. The data was harvested via Google Forms and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling in Smart PLS 3.0, following the evaluation of the measurement model, structural model, hypothesis testing, and mediation testing. This study finds that talent management has a positive and insignificant effect on employee retention, that employer branding has a positive and significant effect on employee retention, and that employee engagement mediates the effect of talent management and employer branding on employee retention.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of individual, organization, and behaviortowards nurses'hand hygiene compliance. The design of this study uses analytic descriptivestudy design with cross sectional approach on 71 respondents. The data analysis uses descriptivestatistical test, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing, anddominant variabletests. Abstract

The aim of this study is to know the effect of head nurse's type of transformational and transactional leadership towards nurse'organizational commitment at RSI UNISMA MALANG. The research method used descriptive analysis with cross sectional approach on ninety respondents. We have conducted the descriptive statistic test, double linear regression analysis, testing hypothesis, dominant variable test. Type of transformational and transactional leadership of head nurse gave significant affect simultaneously and partially to the nurse'organizational commitment in Islamic Hospital UNISMA Malang. Transformational leadership type of head nurse affects dominantly to the nurse'organizational commitment in Islamic Hospital Malang.

Abstract

Understanding the factors that influence employee performance is critical for organizational success. This study examines the impact of the physical workplace environment and job stress on TVRI Central Java employees’ performance, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. A quantitative explanatory approach was used, involving all 162 employees, with data collected through Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS version 29. The analysis included path analysis and hypothesis testing.The findings show that: (1) the physical workplace environment has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction; (2) job stress positively influences job satisfaction; (3) the physical workplace environment does not directly affect employee performance; (4) job stress does not directly impact employee performance; (5) job satisfaction positively affects employee performance; (6) the physical workplace environment indirectly affects performance through job satisfaction; (7) job stress also indirectly affects performance through job satisfaction.This research provides new insights into the role of workplace factors and stress in shaping employee performance, highlighting the importance of managing the physical environment and stress to improve organizational outcomes.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to analyze a break-even point and to design earnings plan and sales plan for more effective sales and production. The object of this quantitative case study is ASA, a school uniform and ready-to-wear clothing manufacturing company located in Payakumbuh City of West Sumatra. The data was harvested via observations, interviews, and document studies and was processed using time-series analysis, trend analysis, and BEP analysis. This study finds that ASA was successful in selling above its break-point in 2018, 2019, 2022, and 2023. The company could meet its earnings plan and sales plan in 2022 and 2023. The practical implementation of this study is that the company's management must always consider and analyze its break-even point to make sure that the business strategies it applies remain relevant with its financial objectives. The company is also suggested to run anticipative plans in case the occurrence of abnormal conditions in order to ensure its sustainability and stability.
