Abstract

This article aims at finding out (1) the differences in the mathematics learning outcomes of the students who follow NHT type cooperative learning with the students who follow direct learning, (2) the influence of interaction between the learning model used and the students’ learning interests, (3) the difference in the mathematics learning outcomes between the students who follow NHT type cooperative learning and the students who follow direct learning reviewed from high learning interests, (4) differences in students’ mathematics learning outcomes between the students who follow NHT type cooperative learning and the students who follow direct learning reviewed from low learning interests. This the type of pseudo-experimental research. The instruments used are test of learning outcomes, questionnaires of students' learning interests, and observation of the Lesson Plan implementation. The analytical techniques used are descriptive analysis techniques and inferential statistical analysis with ANOVA tests, and Tukey advanced tests. Based on the results of the ANOVA test and Tukey advanced test obtained that there are significant differences in the mathematics learning outcomes between using a cooperative learning model NHT type and the direct learning model in the students who have a high interest in learning. Based on the data analysis, it is obtained the significant value of < α (0.010 < 0.05) then H0 is rejected. Therefore, it is concluded that there are significant differences in mathematics learning outcomes between using NHT-type cooperative learning model and the direct learning model in the students who have a low interest in learning.

Abstract

Pembelajaran mata kuliah umum yang berlangsung di Jurusan Pendidikan Matematika UIN Alauddin Makassar belum menunjukkan adanya nuansa islami serta belum melibatkan mahasiswa secara aktif. Untuk mengatasinya peneliti berupaya mengembangkan bahan ajar berupa modul mata kuliah aljabar linear elementer bernuansa islami untuk menambah wawasan mahasiswa mengenai keterkaitan materi dengan nilai-nilai islami berbasis pendekatan saintifik yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE, yaitu Analysis (Analisis), Design (Perancangan), Development (Pengembangan), Implementation (Penerapan), dan Evaluation (Evaluasi). Hasil validasi untuk modul dan semua instrumen penelitian memiliki rata-rata 4.58 yang berarti termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Pada penilaian kepraktisan, rata-rata keseluruhan aspek pada lembar keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan modul termasuk dalam kategori terlaksana seluruhnya. Selain itu, persentase angket respon mahasiswa untuk keseluruhan aspek adalah 98%. Sedangkan pada penilaian keefektifan, hasil belajar mahasiswa menunjukkan bahwa dari 35 orang mahasiswa terdapat 31 mahasiswa yang memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan dengan persentase 88.57% dan 5.71% berada pada kategori belum tuntas. Selain itu, hasil pengamatan aktivitas mahasiswa diperoleh bahwa rata-rata aktivitas mahasiswa sebesar 82% yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Oleh karena itu, modul mata kuliah aljabar linear elementer bernuansa islami berbasis pendekatan saintifik dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif sumber belajar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan distribusi soal-soal bertipe Higher Order Thinking Skills pada buku ajar matematika SMK kurikulum 2013 kelas XI yang ditinjau dari indikator soal Higher Order Thinking Skills berdasarkan Taksonomi Bloom revisi. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian adalah soal setiap uji kompetensi bab 1 dalam buku ajar matematika SMK kurikulum 2013 kelas XI semester 1. Pengumpulan data menggunakan studi dokumen. Pedoman analisis soal berdasarkan Taksonomi Bloom revisi Anderson & Krathwohl (2001). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa soal-soal latihan yang terdapat dalam buku ajar Matematika SMK Kelas XI khususnya pada materi Persamaan dan Fungsi Kuadrat, hanya terdapat 8 soal yang dapat dikelompokkan sebagai soal HOTS. Soal-soal tersebut hanya berada pada aspek terendah dalam HOTS, yaitu pada tingkat kognitif menganalisis (C4) dengan pelibatan dimensi pengetahuan prosedural. Tidak ditemukan satu soal latihan yang dapat dikelompokkan sebagai soal HOTS pada aspek mengeveluasi (C5) dan aspek mencipta (C6). Soal dalam buku ajar tersebut belum merata dalam menunjang kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik

Abstract

Terbatasnya buku paket, tidak bervariasinya pendekatan pembelajaran dan kurangnya pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran merupakan penyebab rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik. Hal inilah yang melatarbelakangi penulis untuk melakukan penelitian pengembangan E-Modul dengan pendekatan kontekstual materi program linear. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pengembangan .E-.Modul berbantuan software sigil. dengan. pendekatan kontekstual pada materi program linear. peserta. didik kelas XI yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Research and Development. Model pengembangan. yang digunakan adalah ADDIE. Subjek uji coba adalah peserta didik kelas XI. Penelitian ini menggunakan lembar validasi ahli, lembar observasi. keterlaksanaan E-Modul, lembar angket respon guru dan angket respon peserta didik, lembar observasi aktivitas. peserta didik dan tes hasil belajar. Berdasarkan hasil uji. coba diperoleh hasil validasi E-Modul dan.instrumen penelitian dengan nilai rata-rata kategori sangat valid; Praktis, keterlaksanaan E-Modul yang meliputi komponen sintaks, prinsip dan reaksi terlaksana seluruhnya, Selain itu, angket respon peserta didik dan respon guru dinyatakan sangat positif; dan Efektif, hasil observasi aktivitas peserta didik berada kategori baik. Selain itu, tes hasil belajar yang dilakukan berada standar ketuntasan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pengembangan E-Modul berbantuan software sigil dengan pendekatan kontekstual materi program linear, maka penulis memliki beberapa saran diantaranya: 1) Produk yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat diterima disetiap sekolah menengah kejuruan dan dijadikan sebagai pedoman bagi guru dan peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas digital book yang telah dikembangkan dari perspektif kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan.pada materi bilangan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development dengan model pengembangan. ADDIE (Analisis, Perancangan, Pengembangan, Penerapan dan Evaluasi). Subjek uji coba dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VII Mts. Madani Alauddin. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah .lembar validasi, lembar observasi .keterlaksanaan media pembelajaran, angket.respon peserta didik, angket respon guru, lembar observasi aktivitas peserta didik, lembar observasi kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran, dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian mengungkap bahwa media pembelajan yang dikembangkan valid, praktis dan efektif. Rata-rata kevalidan media pembelajaran digital book dan instrumen penelitian berada pada kategori sangat valid dengan nilai 3,55. Dari segi kepraktisan, diperoleh rata-rata lembar observasi keterlaksanaan media pembelajaran 193, rata-rata persentase angket respon peserta didik 88,35%, dan rata-rata persentase angket respon guru adalah 90,63%. Dari segi keefektifan, diperoleh rata-rata persentase aktivitas peserta didik adalah 81,49%, rata-rata persentase kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran adalah 3,66, dan persentase ketuntasan belajar peserta didik adalah 86,11%.

Abstract

This research was carried out with the aim of producing gamification teaching material products for limiting functions and class IX derivatives that met the feasibility criteria, namely valid, practical, and effective. This research is a development research using the ADDIE development model. The stages of the ADDIE development model consist of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Product feasibility assessment using validation sheet instruments, student response questionnaires and teacher response questionnaires, as well as learning outcome tests. The collected data were analyzed by qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The research results obtained are: (1) Valid, the average validation results for teaching materials, rpp, student and teacher response questionnaires and learning outcomes tests are 4.66 which are categorized as valid because they are in the range of 4≤V_a<5. (2) Practical, based on the teacher response questionnaire with an average result obtained of 91.66% and the student response questionnaire of 91.25% is in the range of 85% ≤R_G≤100% so that the teacher and student response questionnaire is categorized as very Positive. (3) Effective, the results of the student learning outcomes test analysis were obtained by 80% classically complete and were in the high category. Thus, it was concluded that the gamification teaching materials on the function limit materials and class XI derivatives met the criteria of valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability to understand mathematical concepts and to determine the inhibiting factors of street children in completing the ability test for understanding mathematical concepts in number operations material. This study uses a qualitative method by selecting several informants who are street children from the Adiyaksa Development Class. Data collection was done by giving the informant a concept understanding ability test, and interviews. The data were analyzed by being reduced, then presented and then drawing conclusions. The results of the study based on the test results of 5 student respondents, it was found that respondents coded 01 and 05 got a score of 100. These results indicate that the two students have understood the material for number operations well. However, the other three respondents, namely respondents coded 02 and 03 each with a test score of 60 and respondents coded 04 obtained a test result of 80. Based on the results of interviews with the three respondents, it was found that they had difficulty performing number operations on numbers big. The inhibiting factors for the ability to understand the concept of number operation material in street children in the Adiyaksa fostered class Makassar are 1) the unavailability of learning media in the form of counting aids, 2) the busyness of students as street children, namely helping their parents in earning a living, and 3) lack of schedule for math subjects.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality of the content of the mathematics textbook based on indicators in a scientific approach. This research is a descriptive study that describes or explains systematically the facts or characteristics of a particular population. The procedure in this study consisted of: (1) the preparation stage, by selecting the revised 2017 edition of the 2017 high school senior high school mathematics textbook, (2) conducting a literature study to find out how the quality of the mathematics textbook was based on a scientific approach, (3) drawing conclusions from the data obtained. has been obtained. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, the quality of the mathematics textbooks is obtained in each chapter, namely in Chapter 1 as much as 60%, Chapter II as much as 70%, Chapter III as much as 50%, Chapter IV as much as 60%. As for the total number of chapters in textbooks based on a scientific approach as much as 60%. So it can be concluded that the quality of mathematics textbooks for class X 2013 curriculum based on the scientific approach is included in the sufficient category with the implementation of indicators in the scientific approach.

Abstract

Abstract:TIMSS (Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study) study shows that Indonesia's mathematical problem-solving ability scores are below the average. This study aims to identify math problems in the 2013 grade VII curriculum students' books for even semesters based on the cognitive dimensions of TIMSS. This research is library research using a qualitative approach. The instrument in this study uses analytical guidelines based on the cognitive dimensions of the 2015 TIMSS, which consists of three domains, namely knowledge (knowing 35%), application (applying 40%), and reasoning (reasoning 25%). The results of the identification of 150 questions in which were identified obtained the level of the proportion of cognitive domains by the proportions tested in the TIMSS. The questions in the book have provided provisions for preparing and empowering students' thinking development to solve mathematical problems.Abstrak:TIMSS (Trends in Internasional Mathematics and Science Study) menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa Indonesia masih berada di bawah rata-rata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi soal matematika dalam buku siswa kurikulum 2013 kelas VII semester genap berdasarkan dimensi kognitif dari TIMSS. Penelitian ini bersifat kepustakaan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pedoman analisis berdasarkan dimensi kognitif dari TIMSS 2015 yang terdiri atas tiga domain yaitu pengetahuan (knowing 35%), penerapan (applying 40%), dan penalaran (reasoning 25%). Hasil identifikasi dari 150 soal diperoleh tingkat proporsi domain kognitifnya sesuai dengan proporsi yang diuji dalam TIMSS. Soal-soal dalam buku tersebut sudah mampu memberikan bekal dalam mempersiapkan dan memberdayakan tingkat perkembangan berpikir siswa untuk memecahkan masalah matematika.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the effect applying the think pair share learning method has on the reasoning and mathematical abstraction abilities of class X students of SMA Negeri 9 Makassar. This study used a quantitative approach with the type of experimental research using a quasi-experimental research design with a non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study were all 290 class X students of SMAN 9 Makassar. The sample in this research was an experimental class of 36 people and a control class of 36 people. The instrument in this study was a test to measure reasoning abilities and mathematical abstraction in the form of a pretest and posttest. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis, namely the multivariate analysis of variance (manova) test. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The average results of students' mathematical reasoning abilities in the experimental class and the control class increased. (2) The average results of students' mathematical abstraction abilities in the experimental class and the control class increased. (3) There is an influence of the TPS type cooperative learning model's application on the reasoning and mathematical abstraction abilities of SMA Negeri 9 Makassar class X students. (4) There is an effect of applying the TPS type cooperative learning model to the mathematical reasoning abilities of SMA Negeri 9 Makassar class X students. (5) There is an effect of applying the TPS type cooperative learning model to the mathematical abstraction abilities of SMA Negeri 9 Makassar class X students.
