Abstract

The swift progress of digital technology necessitates an educational overhaul to equip the younger generation for 21st-century challenges. The Merdeka Belajar curriculum, a government initiative, aims to enhance education quality and foster skills pertinent to contemporary demands. This community service endeavor empowers teachers in Karangrejo village to develop Merdeka Belajar curriculum infused with digital skills. The training, involving teachers from three elementary schools, focuses on comprehending the curriculum's principles and crafting lesson plans integrating digital competencies like data literacy, programming, and media skills. Employing a participatory approach, the program merges lecture sessions, group discussions, and lesson plan development exercises. Participants gain access to digital resources and online platforms to aid curriculum implementation. Results reveal heightened comprehension of the curriculum and the significance of digital skills integration. Teachers successfully devise innovative, contextually relevant lesson plans employing digital tools to augment student engagement and motivation. This community service initiative significantly contributes to nurturing digital era proficiencies through Merdeka Belajar Curriculum development training. Enhanced teacher abilities in digital skills integration aim to prepare students as adept individuals poised to confront future challenges.

Abstract

Literacy activities in Early Childhood Education (PAUD) can be implemented through reading learning activities. The objectives of implementing this Community Service are (1) to provide training with the theme of strengthening literacy by implementing reading learning with the syllable method, (2) to provide assistance when teachers carry out learning, (3) to conduct discussions after providing assistance to find out strengths and weaknesses. The implementation method is through three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Training is carried out by delivering topics: the concept of learning the reading method with the syllable method, pedagogical competence, and introduction to reading books with the syllable method consisting of 4 volumes and how to teach it. In mentoring activities, teachers are observed when implementing learning by applying the concepts obtained during training. Meanwhile, a discussion meeting after mentoring is held to evaluate learning and find solutions for follow-up. In general, the implementation of community service was successful. This can be seen from the optimal attendance during training, the enthusiasm of teachers when carrying out learning, and the enthusiasm of teachers in conducting discussions after mentoring.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk ketidaksantunan berbahasa dan fungsi ketidaksantunan berbahasa dalam kolom komentar YouTube ILC. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni melalui tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap pelaporan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskripsif kualitatif dengan pendekatan pragmatik. Hasil penelitian ditemukan terdapat total keseluruhan 100 data bentuk ketidaksantunan berbahasa, dengan ketidaksantunan secara langsung paling dominan ditemukan dan 100 data fungsi ketidaksantunan berbahasa, dengan fungsi menyindir paling dominan ditemukan. Penelitian dilakukan berbeda dengan penelitian terdahulu yaitu penelitian ini menambahkan fungsi ketidaksantunan berbahasa. Kata Kunci: Ketidaksantunan Berbahasa, Pragmatik, Tuturan, Bentuk, Fungsi.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan bagaimana penerapan model pembelajaran quantum teaching dan berbasis masalah berdampak pada kemampuan siswa SMKN 3 Kediri dalam menulis puisi di kelas XI. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel yang digunakan ialah siswa kelas XI SMKN 3 Kediri. Proses analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunaka SPSS statistik. hasil pembahasan pada artikel ini yaitu mendiskripsikan mengenai: (1) keterampilan menulis puisi tanpa menggunakan model pembelajaran quantum teaching berbasis masalah, (2) keterampilan menulis puisi dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran quantum teaching dan berbasis masalah, (3) pengaruh adanya model pembelajaran pembelajaran quantum teaching dan berbasis masalah terhadap keterampilan menulis puisi. Kesimpulan dari artikel ini yaitu bedasarkan hasil penelitian dari hasil perhitungan yang dilakukan dengan SPSS diperoleh nilai (untuk taraf signifikan 5% dan derajat kebebasan gabungan = 68) Sehingga(hipotesis nol) ditolak dan (hipotesis alternatif) diterima. Dengan demikian maka hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa “terdapatperbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan. Kata Kunci: Model pembelajaran, menulis, puisi

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the use of educational games as a learning medium to enhance students' motivation and improve the quality of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) instruction at the elementary school level. The research employed a classroom action research approach consisting of two cycles. Data were collected through observations, documentation, assessment rubrics, tests, and field notes. The games used in the study included "whisper chain" and "thread pull," both of which were adapted to suit the IPAS subject matter. These games were not intended to introduce new concepts but rather to develop students' skills. The results showed that the games successfully stimulated students’ enthusiasm and encouraged them to engage in enjoyable learning activities. The findings indicate that using games as a learning medium is effective in enhancing the quality of IPAS instruction in elementary schools. The study concludes that: 1) Games are implemented after the teacher delivers the material to reinforce students' understanding; 2) Educational games have proven to be beneficial in improving the quality of IPAS learning at the elementary level.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Pembelajaran inovatif memfokuskan bagaimana proses pembelajaran berlangsung, bahan ajar dan media yang digunakan, dan penilaian yang dilakukan dalam pembelajaran. Upaya pengembangan kemampuan menulis naskah drama dapat dilakukan dengan cara mengembangkan sebuah bahan ajar untuk membantu pembelajaran. Pengembangan bahan ajar menulis naskah drama dapat menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual agar pembelajarannya beserta contohnya yang lebih dekat dengan kehidupan nyata siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan produk bahan ajar menulis kreatif naskah drama dengan melihat aspek isi, bahasa, dan tampilan bahan ajar. Bahan ajar yang disajikan diintegrasikan dengan pembelajaran kontekstual. Penilaian yang disajikan dalam bahan ajar ini adalah penialain otentik yang nantinya akan bertujuan dapat melihat hasil belajar siswa secara proses. Penilaian dilakukan setiap kegiatan yang tertuang dalam bahan ajar karena penilaian yang digunakan dalam bahan ajar ini adalah penilaian proses. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian pengembangan yang digagas oleh Borg and Gall yaitu reserch dan development (R&D). R&D ini memilik 7 langkah pengembangan, yaitu penelitian dan pengumpulan data, perencanaan, pengembangan draft produk, uji coba lapangan, revisi, uji coba langan yang pada tahap ini uji praktisi dan uji pengguna, dan penyempurnaan produk. Pada saat validasi kepa ahli materi mendapatkan rata-rata 91%. Hasil validasi pada ahli oembelajaran dan tampilan mendapatkan rerata 77% dari aspek isi, 76% dari kelayakan bahasa, dan 89% dari aspek penyajian. Hasil validasi lapangan diperoleh rerata 77%. Dari hasil validasi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar menulis naskah drama ini layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran.KATA KUNCI: bahan ajar menulis naskah drama;  model pembelajaran kontekstual; pembelajaran inovatif .> INNOVATIVE LEARNING IN DRAMA SCRIPT WRITING  ABSTRACT: Innovative learning focuses on how the learning process takes place, the teaching materials and media used, and the assessment carried out in learning. Efforts to develop the ability to write drama scripts can be done by developing teaching materials to assist learning. The development of teaching materials for writing drama scripts can use a contextual approach so that learning and its examples are closer to students' real lives. The purpose of this research is to produce teaching materials for creative writing of drama scripts by looking at aspects of content, language, and appearance of teaching materials. The teaching materials presented are integrated with contextual learning. The assessment presented in this teaching material is an authentic assessment that will aim to see student learning outcomes in the process. The assessment is carried out every activity contained in the teaching materials because the assessment used in this teaching material is a process assessment. . This research uses development research initiated by Borg and Gall, namely research and development (R&D). This R&D has 7 development steps, namely research and data collection, planning, product draft development, field trials, revision, field trials which at this stage are practitioner tests and user tests, and product improvement. At the time of validation to the material expert got an average of 91%. The results of validation on learning and display experts get an average of 77% from the content aspect, 76% from language feasibility, and 89% from the presentation aspect. The results of field validation obtained an average of 77%. From the validation results, it shows that the teaching materials for writing drama scripts are suitable for use in learning.KEYWORDS: teaching materials for writing drama scripts; contextual learning model; innovative learning.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and describe the grammatical semantic aspects found in the lyrics of the album Menari dengan Bayangan by Hindia, focusing on four main elements: reference, substitution, ellipsis, and conjunction. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method with a grammatical semantics approach. Data were collected through documentation and observation of song lyrics, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman data analysis model. The findings indicate that exophoric personal reference is the most dominant form, reflecting the emotional relationships among the lyrical subjects. Substitution is utilized as a stylistic strategy to replace nouns or phrases, while ellipsis appears in both nominal and clausal forms to convey implicit meaning efficiently. Conjunctions are used in various types causal, adversative, sequential, and additive to maintain cohesion and coherence across the lyrics. This study demonstrates that Hindia's lyrics function not only as a medium for emotional expression but also as a complex linguistic structure. The implications include expanding the application of grammatical semantics in popular literary texts and strengthening interdisciplinary approaches in language and cultural studies.

Abstract

This research is motivated by observations and experiences regarding the position of women who tend to be underestimated and humiliated in front of men. As a result, many women feel that they are no more capable than men. This is evident from the many things that are done in everyday life with men as the axis. Theoretically, this research uses a feminist approach, while methodologically this research uses a qualitative descriptive method. This type of research is qualitative research that aims to describe conversational data or dialog in the film "Hati Suhita" directed by Arche Hekagery that contains elements of women's image. The data source in this research is the movie "Hati Suhita" directed by Archie Hekagery. The result of this research is that there are four aspects of women's image in the film "Hati Suhita" directed by Arche Hekagery, including the image of women and love, the image of women and suffering, the image of women and responsibility, and the image of women and justice.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: 1) poetry writing skills of class XI students of SMA Negeri 3 Kediri without using the Quantum Teaching model assisted by audiovisual; 2) poetry writing skills using the Quantum Teaching model assisted by audiovisual media in class XI students of SMA Negeri 3 Kediri; 3) the effect of using the Quantum Teaching model assisted by audiovisual media on poetry writing skills of class XI students of SMA Negeri 3 Kediri. This study uses a quantitative method with an experimental design. The study took place in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The research subjects consisted of two groups, namely class XI-1 students as the experimental group and class XI-2 students as the control group. Data were obtained through a written poetry writing test. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, namely the independent sample t-test preceded by a normality test and a homogeneity test of population variation. The results of the study: 1) poetry writing skills of class XI students of SMA Negeri 3 Kediri without using the Quantum Teaching model assisted by audiovisual are classified as low; 2) the poetry writing skills using the Quantum Teaching model assisted by audiovisual media in class XI students of SMA Negeri 3 Kediri are pretty high; 3) there is an influence in the use of the Quantum Teaching model assisted by audiovisual media on the poetry writing skills of class XI students of SMA Negeri 3 Kediri.

Abstract

Literacy culture is not only demonstrated through reading activities at school or in certain formal programs but also through reading habits within families and communities, which occur naturally without being perceived as school assignments. Therefore, schools need to provide support for students’ motivation and interest in reading so that literacy culture can develop sustainably. This study aims to examine: (1) access to information resources, (2) reading habits, (3) the quality of reading materials, and (4) students’ motivation and interest in reading. The research design employed a descriptive approach by combining quantitative data from questionnaires with narrative analysis. The subjects of this study were 239 students of MTs Miftahul Huda, Jambu Village, Plemahan District, Kediri Regency, selected through a total sampling technique. The research instrument was a questionnaire distributed via Google Form, while data analysis was carried out through reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that access to information resources is relatively adequate in terms of libraries and reading materials, although digital literacy still needs strengthening. Reading habits are categorized as moderately active to active, the quality of reading materials is rated as good, and students’ motivation and interest in reading are considered high. This study concludes that strengthening digital literacy, providing contextual reading materials, and implementing collective appreciation strategies are necessary to develop a more balanced and sustainable literacy culture.
