Abstract

Pemberian Makanan Tambahan (PMT) Pangan Lokal  program is a government initiative aimed at reducing the prevalence of stunting and wasting among children under five.  PMT has the potential to increase nutrient intake where it is lacking in the diet. A study of the nutritional status of children under five in the villages of Desa Tanjung and Desa Kalijambe revealed that 6.3% exhibited stunting (impaired growth), and 74% demonstrated an energy deficit. A total of 13 children aged 12–59 months participated in the PMT programme, alongside YBM BRILiaN cadres and their mothers. The methodology encompasses observational studies, socialisation initiatives and training programmes for childcare providers and parents of young children. Direct intervention strategies were also employed during the 90-day intervention period. The intervention took the form of a comprehensive menu made available during the designated lunch period. Dietary intake data was collected using a 1x24-hour recall form, administered once every 30 days during the intervention period. It has been demonstrated that the mean energy and macronutrient intake of children under five has increased compared to the mean intake prior to the implementation of the providing supplementary food. A systematic and continuous monitoring process must be implemented within the programme to ensure the efficacy of PMT is preserved. Abstract

Teacher performance plays a crucial role in educational quality and school effectiveness and is influenced by both organizational and psychological factors. This study examines a multivariate model of teacher performance by analyzing the direct and indirect effects of transformational leadership, empowerment, trust, and achievement motivation among junior high school teachers in Bekasi City. A quantitative survey design was employed involving 177 teachers selected through multistage proportional random sampling from 19 schools. Data were collected using validated five-point Likert-scale instruments and analyzed using SEM-PLS, supported by SITOREM for indicator prioritization. The results show that transformational leadership (β = 0.351), empowerment (β = 0.195), trust (β = 0.271), and achievement motivation (β = 0.189) have significant positive effects on teacher performance. Leadership and empowerment also demonstrate indirect effects through trust and achievement motivation. The model explains a substantial proportion of variance in teacher performance. SITOREM analysis identifies work quantity and achievement orientation as priority areas for improvement, while work quality and teamwork should be maintained.

Abstract

This study examines a structural model of teacher performance by positioning empowerment, self-efficacy, transformational leadership, and creativity as exogenous variables, with trust as a mediating variable. The purpose of this study is to analyze the direct and indirect effects of these variables on vocational high school teacher performance in Bogor Regency, Indonesia. A quantitative survey design was employed involving 175 teachers from 45 vocational high schools selected through multistage proportional random sampling. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and path analysis. The results indicate that all exogenous variables significantly influence teacher performance, both directly and indirectly through trust. The indirect effect analysis shows that empowerment (β = 0.016; t = 2.793; p < 0.01), self-efficacy (β = 0.021; t = 3.467; p < 0.001), transformational leadership (β = 0.018; t = 3.830; p < 0.001), and creativity (β = 0.060; t = 9.070; p < 0.001) have significant effects on teacher performance through trust, with creativity demonstrating the strongest mediating effect. These findings confirm trust as a critical mechanism for enhancing teacher performance. This study contributes to the development of an empirically validated trust-based teacher performance model and provides evidence-based implications for school leadership development and vocational education quality improvement policies.

Abstract

This study examines teachers’ Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) beyond religious commitment among civil servant teachers in State Islamic Junior High Schools (MTsN) in West, East, and South Jakarta. OCB is conceptualized as discretionary behavior that goes beyond formal job requirements and contributes to school effectiveness and sustainability. The study aims to analyze the extent to which religious commitment influences teachers’ OCB and to identify the role of other organizational factors, particularly helping behavior, transformational leadership, and work motivation. A mixed-methods approach with a sequential exploratory design was employed using the Modeling and Optimization of Human Resource Strengthening (POP-SDM) framework. The qualitative phase involved in-depth interviews, while the quantitative phase included 220 civil servant teachers and was analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that religious commitment has a positive effect on teachers’ OCB but does not serve as the dominant predictor. Transformational leadership emerged as the most influential determinant of OCB, followed by work motivation and helping behavior. These results indicate that teachers’ extra-role behavior in public Islamic schools cannot be explained solely by personal religiosity, but rather requires supportive organizational and leadership contexts. This study contributes to organizational behavior theory by challenging the assumption that religiosity alone drives OCB in faith-based public institutions and offers practical implications for leadership development and human resource management in Islamic education.

Abstract

Teachers’ Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) represents extra-role behavior that is essential for enhancing school effectiveness and organizational sustainability, particularly in private vocational high schools facing increasing performance demands and institutional competition. This study aims to examine the effects of servant leadership, organizational culture, personality, and work motivation on teachers’ OCB, as well as to determine priority indicators for improvement using SITOREM analysis. A quantitative survey approach was employed involving private vocational high school teachers in West Jakarta. Data were analyzed using path analysis to investigate direct and indirect relationships among variables, and SITOREM analysis to classify indicators into priority areas for immediate improvement and indicators to be maintained or further developed. The results of the path analysis reveal that servant leadership and individual factors significantly influence teachers’ OCB. Furthermore, the SITOREM analysis identifies several priority indicators requiring immediate improvement, including good faith, tolerance, virtue, conscientiousness, willingness to listen, organizational norms, self-confidence, willingness, and emotional stability. Conversely, indicators such as empathy, mutual cooperation, responsibility, appreciation, humility, and openness to experience are categorized as strengths that should be sustained and enhanced. This study contributes to the development of organizational behavior and educational leadership theory and provides an evidence-based strategic framework for school leaders to systematically strengthen teachers’ OCB in vocational education settings.
