Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan informasi dalam pembiasaan hidup sehat pada siswa SD dalam upaya pencegahan Covid-19 pada pembelajaran daring dan persiapan tatap muka. Kurangnya pengetahuan siswa SD tentang pembiasaan hidup sehat mengharuskan guru untuk memberikan edukasi yang lebih serta bekerja sama dengan orang tua pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring dan persiapan tatap muka yang akan segera dilakukan. Pembiasaan hidup sehat yang diberikan kepada siswa antara lain mencuci tangan dengan benar sesuai anjuran dari WHO, memakai masker yang baik, melakukan physical distancing atau menjaga jarak dengan orang lain minimal satu meter, dan mengonsumsi makanan yang bergizi. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan literature review. Dalam melakukan pengumpulan data penulis mengumpulkan data dan informasi yang berkaitan dengan pembiasaan hidup sehat siswa SD dalam upaya pencegahan Covid-19 pada pembelajaran daring dan persiapan tatap muka melalui data – data pendukung yang bersumber dari jurnal penelitian baik nasional maupun internasional, serta buku – buku penunjang. Upaya pembiasaan hidup sehat yang dilakukan dengan baik akan menjadi efektif untuk mencegah virus Covid-19. Semakin banyak edukasi yang diberikan, maka siswa akan semakin baik dalam implementasi pada kehidupan sehari – hari dan semakin siap dalam persiapan pembelajaran tatap muka yang akan dilakukan.Abstract: The purpose of this study was giving the information to inculcate healthy living habits in elementary school students in an effort to prevent Covid-19 in online learning and face-to-face preparation. The lack of knowledge of elementary school students about healthy living habits required teachers to give more education and cooperate with parents in the implementation of online learning and face-to-face preparations that will soon be carried out. Healthy living habits that given to students include washing hands properly according to WHO recommendations, wearing good masks, doing physical distancing or keeping a distance of at least one meter from other people, and eating nutritious food. The method of this study was used a literature review approach. In collecting data, the author collected data and information related to healthy living habits of elementary school students in an effort to prevent Covid-19 in online learning and face-to-face preparation through supporting data that sourced from research journals, both national and international, as well as supporting books. Efforts to habituate healthy life habits that are carried out properly, will be effective in preventing the Covid-19 virus. The more education was given, the students will be better at implementing it in daily life and more ready in preparation for face-to-face learning that will be carried out.

Abstract

This study is intended to describe the implementation of Multiple Intelligences on learning outcomes in elementary schools. This research is included in qualitative research with the type of literature study research (Literature Review). There are four stages in this research, among others are; organize, synthesize, identify and formulate questions that require further research. The results of the research show that the implementation of Multiple Intelligences on learning outcomes in elementary schools can be applied to the learning process which includes; strategies, models, learning methods. the implementation of Multiple Intelligences on learning outcomes in elementary schools can be applied by all educators and education personnel, both teachers and principals. The implementation of Multiple Intelligences in elementary schools is also a new breakthrough in the education system in Indonesia because Multiple Intelligences is an education system that empowers students. There are 9 types of intelligence, including; linguistic, logical-mathematical, visual-spatial, kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, musical, naturalistic and existential.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the active debate method on students' speaking skills in the social studies subject at Elementary School, the type of research used in this thesis is using the type of literature study research. The research method used by the researcher is to collect research data in the form of library data that has been selected, searched for, presented and analyzed. The results of this study are the effectiveness of the active debate method affects the speaking skills of elementary school students, as evidenced by the results of the study: H1 is accepted and Ho is rejected, because H1 with p value < 0.05, so it can be concluded that the experimental class is better using the method debate because students can quickly hone their speaking skills, and can give students the ability to think logically, rationally, and make students more active and interactive in issuing an idea or opinion, so that it is easier for students to accept and think critically about questions. uttered by his interlocutor.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Question Box-assisted Talking Stick method on Civics Class III learning at SDN Kedondong 2 Tulangan. This becomes an obstacle in the learning process, because learning is still teacher-centered so that it affects student learning outcomes. Therefore, to overcome these problems, it is necessary to change the learning methods that are usually used by teachers when teaching so that there is an increase in learning outcomes, namely through the use of the Talking Stick method with the help of the Question Box. Analysis of research data using paired sample t-test. This type of research is a pre-experimental design with data collection techniques using pre-test and post-test questions. The results showed a significant increase in results with the use of the Talking Stick method with the help of the Question Box. This can be seen from the results of the t-hit test of -21,273 and significantly 0.308, it is stated that there is an effect of the Talking Stick method with the help of Question Box on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Kegiatan PPM (Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat) ini merupakan salah satu program yang bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi tentang bahaya bahan kimia (pewarna sintetis, pemanis sintetis, formalin, dan boraks) yang ditambahkan ke bahan makanan dan memberikan informasi tentang cara mudah dan sederhana deteksi bahan kimia berbahaya. agar mitra dapat terbantu dalam memilih bahan pangan yang aman bagi keluarganya sehingga dapat meningkatkan derajat kesehatannya terutama dalam menghadapi masa pandemi ini. Mitra sasaran kegiatan pelatihan adalah guru-guru SD Negeri di Kecamatan Krian Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Berdasarkan survey awal, mitra ini belum mengetahui bahaya makanan yang mengandung bahan kimia berbahaya (pewarna sintetis, pemanis sintetis, formalin, dan boraks) terhadap kesehatan. Mitra juga belum mengetahui cara mudah dan sederhana untuk mendeteksi bahan kimia berbahaya (pewarna sintetis, pemanis sintetis, formalin, dan boraks) dalam makanan. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi edukasi mengenai bahaya bahan kimia berbahaya dalam makanan dan pelatihan membuat alat sederhana untuk mendeteksi adanya formalin dan boraks menggunakan tusuk gigi kunyit, pewarna sintetis dengan sabun, dan pemanis sintetis dengan karamelisasi serta mempraktekkan cara mudah dan sederhana untuk mendeteksi bahan kimia berbahaya (pewarna sintetis, pemanis sintetis, formalin, dan boraks) dalam makanan. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi dalam peningkatan derajat kesehatan masyarakat melalui keterampilan memilih bahan pangan yang aman bagi kesehatan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is the development of caring-based language management, this research is classified as R & D (Research and Development) research which seeks to solve the problems the partners raised in this community service program are not all teachers who live in boarding school able to speak Arabic or English, or as a new boarding school SBM An Nur does not yet have a guide in the pattern of language application in boarding school the condition of the lack of a good language management system so that it has not been able to encourage students and boarding school residents to speak Arabic or English, including media that have not been maximized. In this program will offer solutions that are expected to solve partner problems. The main method used is the development of language management systems in boarding school with caring based management. The results of this community service program are partners who have language management systems that are able to encourage students and boarding school residents to speak Arabic and English correctly

Abstract

The school canteen has an important role to fulfill the food needs of school children. The need for fulfillment of hygienic foods is ordered by the factors of place and hygiene of the food handlers. Foods that do not meet the requirements and safety that can be given due to health problems or diseases related to food such as diarrhea, cholera, dysentery, typhus, and other food poisoning. The number of food handlers in the cafeteria of SD Muhammadiyah 1 and 2 Sidoarjo competes 6 people. Based on the results of observations and interviews, they did not have sufficient educational background and never gained knowledge about food hygiene and sanitation. The purpose of this PPM activity are to improve the knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of food handlers about food hygiene and sanitation so not to harm their consumers health, especially school children. The method used is a training and mentoring model for food handlers starting when preparing food, processing, and serving to customers. The results of these program can be known about changes in the knowledge and skills of food handlers in food hygiene and sanitation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the teacher's efforts increased the reading interest of class III B students at SDN Kejapanan 4. There is still a problem in the learning process in class III B SDN Kejapanan 4 due to the lack of books, and library function could be more optimal, affecting student learning outcomes. Therefore, to overcome these problems, various efforts of teachers in the classroom when teaching are needed so that there is an increase in reading, namely through providing motivation or encouragement, providing more books and various types in the classroom reading corner, and habituation of literacy 15 minutes before learning begins. This research is descriptive qualitative research through documentation, observation, and interview with a teacher of IIIB SDN Kejapanan 4. The results showed that there still needed to be more student interest in reading activities. This can be seen when observing students play more fun during breaks than reading and the lack of students reading repeatedly; students only read occasionally and then close the reading book again.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pendampingan tentang 1) pembelajaran yang sesuai untuk pendidikan anak usia dini, 2) manajemen pengelolaan lembaga PAUD, 3) peningkatan keterampilan orang tua siswa. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, maka dilakukan beberapa kegiatan meliputi 1) pelatihan penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran dan membuat APE, 2) perbaikan manajemen lembaga PAUD, 3) pelatihan keterampilan untuk orang tua. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di PAUD Al-Muslimun yang berada di desa Gempolsari dan Pos PAUD Pelangi yang berada di Ketegan ke dua sekolah mitra berada di Kecamatan Tanggulangin. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah terwujudnya pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan pedoman pembelajaran anak usia dini dengan tersusunnya RPPH, tersedianya alat media edukatif pembelajaran pendidikan anak usia dini, serta terlaksananya parenting bagi orang tua murid.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Card Sort type as the active learning strategy on the interests and responses of class IV students at an elementary school in Wonoayu, Sidoarjo. It was analyzed on the social studies subject matter which aimed to find out how the influence of the Card Sort type active learning strategy on the students’ interests and responses. The population in this study was 20 students, consisting of 8 male students and 12 female students. This study used a saturated sample which was from those samples' population. The research method used quantitative experimental methods and data processing used the SPSS program. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the application of the Card Sort type as an active learning strategy has an effect on students’ interest and response to social studies learning. From the questionnaire results, it was shown that the students’ interest and responses more increased after implementing the Card Sort type as an active learning strategy. The F-test hypothesis obtained a value of 48,9% or 0,489. This means that the effect of using the Card Sort type as an active learning strategy on students’ interest and response to social studies learning of 48,9% was classified as the big category.
