Abstract

In helping to carry out concurrent affairs and regional government affairs, the Regency/City Regional Head is assisted by regional officials. Juridically, the existence of district/city regional apparatus in Law Number 23 of 2014 consists of (1) Regional Secretariat, (2) DPRD Secretariat, (3) Inspectorate, (4) Regional Regional Services, (5) Regional Agency, And (6) District. Regarding regional apparatus, this is also strengthened by Government Regulation (PP) Number 18 of 2016 concerning Regional Apparatus. From these regional apparatus organizations, a head leads the organization. The leadership of heads of regional apparatus organizations is the main factor in achieving a better regional government system. Leaders determine how an organization, namely regional government, is run. The leadership style of heads of regional apparatus provides high levels of support and interacts more with subordinates/staff members of the organization, consults more, provides guidance motivation, and provides advice to achieve the goals of running the organization's performance program. Based on a sustainable environment. We also remain committed to/refer to and are guided by the RPJMD, Strategic Plan, Regional Regulations, APBD, and APBN. We do not violate the law in creating organizational performance programs based on a sustainable environment. Apart from that, the proposed leadership model/style is more ideal and rational by the hopes and desires of stakeholders, so the collaborative leadership style model is the one that best suits the situation and conditions of heads of regional apparatus in DKI Jakarta, namely collaborative, participatory leadership style, consultative leadership style, and transformational leadership style.

Abstract

Sustainability awareness is a key component of education for sustainable development, yet empirical evidence regarding students’ awareness in ecological boarding school programs remains limited. This study aimed to examine the level of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) integration in the Pesantren Ekologi program, assess students’ sustainability awareness (SA), and investigate differences in SA based on gender and grade level. A quantitative cross-sectional survey design was employed involving 406 senior high school students from West Java Province, Indonesia. Data were collected using Likert-scale questionnaires measuring SDGs integration and SA. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent samples t-test, and Welch ANOVA. The results indicated that SDGs integration within the Pesantren Ekologi program was perceived at a high level across cognitive, socio-emotional, and behavioral learning dimensions, while students’ SA was also generally high across environmental, social, and economic dimensions. Significant gender differences were found, with female students demonstrating higher SA than male students, although the effect size was small. In contrast, no significant differences were identified across grade levels. These findings suggest that SA is not necessarily associated with grade level alone and highlight the importance of contextual, participatory, and action-oriented learning experiences in sustainability education. The findings also support the implementation of SDG 4.7 by emphasizing the role of education in promoting sustainable development competencies. Future studies are recommended to employ longitudinal and mixed-methods approaches to better understand factors influencing students’ SA.

Abstract

The era of globalization brings new challenges and problems that require innovative solutions. Thus, 21st century education requires students to have higher order thinking skills, one of the learning models for developing these skills is Project Based Learning (PjBL) and ecoliteracy. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of using Project Based Learning (PjBL) and ecoliteracy learning models separately and together on students' higher order thinking skills. This research is quantitative research with quasi-experiment type. Data collection techniques in this study used ecoliteracy questionnaire instruments and higher order thinking skills tests, as well as observation sheets to observe the implementation of the learning model. As for data analysis, this study used descriptive statistical techniques, tested analytical requirements such as normality and homogeneity tests, and applied inferential statistical analysis with two-way Anava. The results showed that Project Based Learning and ecoliteracy together had a significant positive impact on students' higher order thinking skills. This indicates that the use of Project Based Learning and ecoliteracy is more effective in improving students' higher order thinking skills when compared to using only Project Based Learning or learning models alone.

Abstract

This research explores the impact of implementing Instructional Design and Teaching Module devices in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) education, in line with the Merdeka Curriculum, on environmental literacy in primary schools. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of Integrated Environmental Education IPAS Instructional Design and IPAS Teaching Module in IPAS learning on students' environmental literacy at the primary school level. The research method employs an ex post facto approach to identify and analyze the influence of these variables after implementation, without direct intervention in the learning situation. The results show that both instructional devices significantly contribute to students' environmental literacy. Students' environmental literacy learning outcomes in IPAS education using the Integrated Environmental Education IPAS Instructional Design (average score of 80) are better compared to IPAS Teaching Module (69). In conclusion, the research findings indicate that Integrated Environmental Education IPAS Instructional Design significantly positively influences the improvement of students' environmental literacy compared to IPAS Teaching Module.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the level of sustainability awareness and commitment to the goals of education for sustainable development (ESD) among students in madrasah ibtidaiyah. A descriptive survey was conducted with 327 students in Sukabumi Regency using self-administered questionnaires that considered gender and grade level. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and one-way ANOVA. The results indicated that students demonstrated a moderate level of sustainability awareness, with an average score of 2.95. No significant differences were found across grade levels (p = 0.158), while female students showed significantly higher awareness than males (p = 0.001) in grades 3, 4, and 5. These findings suggest that gender is a more influential factor than grade level in shaping students’ sustainability awareness. The results highlight the need for gender-responsive approaches in designing effective ESD programs in primary education.

Abstract

Increased air pollution concentrations in densely populated urban areas have an impact on public health and environmental comfort. Limited space for greening in large cities such as Jakarta has created a need for more flexible and efficient solutions. In this context, Micro Green Open Spaces (RTH Mikro) are seen as one strategy that can be applied at the neighborhood level to help reduce local air pollution. This study examines the role of Micro Green Open Spaces (RTH Mikro) in reducing air pollution in densely populated urban areas such as East Jakarta. RTH Mikro is identified as an adaptive solution to land constraints in urban areas. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this study analyzes the effectiveness of Micro Green Open Spaces, particularly in Taman Dukuh, through field observations, vegetation identification, and estimates of emissions from mobile and stationary sources. The results show that the dominant vegetation in Taman Dukuh, such as trembesi and flamboyant trees, has significant ecological potential in filtering PM2.5, absorbing CO₂, and cooling the local temperature. Although the study area has high pollutant levels due to heavy traffic, the presence of Micro-Green Open Spaces significantly intervenes in the spread of pollutants and improves air quality. This study concludes that optimizing the function of Micro-RTH vegetation is essential for improving urban air quality, with recommendations for spatial design and sustainable maintenance. This finding supports the strategic planning of Micro Green Spaces as a key element in sustainable urban planning.

Abstract

Studi literatur ini membahas tentang penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuktikan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dapat diterapkan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dalam pembelajaran IPA pada siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan mengumpulkan jurnal nasional maupun internasional yang berkaitan dengan penggunaan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Kemudian dipilih, disajikan dan dianalisis serta diolah supaya ringkas dan sistematis. Setelah data terkumpul, dilakukan pengujian dan pembandingan data yang ditemukan. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif dengan pengutipan pendapat-pendapat yang sesuai. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan yang berisi pemetaan literatur 30 artikel ilmiah yang berkaitan dengan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif melalui model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Implikasi pada studi literatur ini sebagai salah satu bahan masukan dalam rangka meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada siswa dalam proses pembelajaran IPA dan meningkatkan produktivitas sekolah melalui peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran.

Abstract

The environment in Indonesia is one of the world's centers of biodiversity, known as a mega-biodiversity country. The high diversity does not make Indonesia contribute significantly to environmental improvement. One of the factors that causes it is human behaviour. Therefore, efforts are needed to prevent and minimize these behaviours by increasing human resources through the application of ecological intelligence and media exposure to create environmentally friendly behaviour. This research aims to measure the level of ecological intelligence, media exposure, and environmentally friendly behaviour of students and to analyze the relationship between ecological intelligence and media exposure with environmentally friendly behaviour among private junior high school students in DKI Jakarta. This research was conducted at SMP Labschool Kebayoran, SMP Istiqlal Jakarta, and SMP Laboratorium Jakarta in the odd semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. The method used is quantitative through correlational studies. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling and obtained 90 students. Data collection was carried out using ecological intelligence instruments, media exposure, and environmentally friendly behaviour, then analyzed by normality and homogeneity tests. The results show us that media exposure contributes more than ecological intelligence to form environmentally friendly behaviour.
