Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate a machine learning–based essay assessment website designed to measure students’ understanding of Newton’s Laws of Motion. A Research and Development (R&D) approach was employed using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This research involved physics teachers in Jambi Province, with a total population of 60 teachers. A random sampling technique was applied to select 20 teachers as respondents. The product underwent two stages of expert validation: Stage 1 scored 3.51 (70.2%), categorized as feasible, while Stage 2 achieved 3.95 (79.04%), classified as highly feasible. Field evaluations conducted with teachers experienced in assessment reported a score of 4.45 (89%), indicating a very high level of practicality and usability. These findings demonstrate that the developed system is effective, reliable, and user-friendly, supporting teachers in providing deeper, constructive feedback and improving assessment efficiency. This research highlights the potential of machine learning integration in educational assessment and offers an innovative solution to enhance the quality of physics learning and school-based evaluation practice

Abstract

Anak ayam membutuhkan perhatian ekstra, terutama untuk suhu kandang, ketersediaan makanan, dan air minum. Suhu ideal untuk mereka adalah antara 30°C hingga 35°C, walaupun suhu luar bisa mempengaruhi suhu di dalam kandang. Kenyamanan anak ayam ditentukan oleh panas, aliran udara, dan tingkat kelembaban di kandang, yang harus disesuaikan dengan kemampuannya beradaptasi. Suhu yang terlalu panas sangat berbahaya karena dapat mengganggu kondisi tubuh, kesehatan, dan pertumbuhan anak ayam, bahkan bisa berakibat fatal hingga menyebabkan kematian. Berdasarkan kondisi ini maka diperlukan sistem monitoring untuk memantau suhu dan memastikan ketersediaan pakan anak ayam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D), dengan tujuan membuat sistem monitoring suhu dan ketersediaan pakan anak ayam berbasis Internet of Things (IoT). Tahapan pembuatan alat diawali dengan studi literatur, merancang dan membuat desain monitoring suhu dan pakan ayam dan terakhir adalah tahap uji coba alat. Sistem pengontrol suhu bekerja dengan baik menggunakan sensor DHT22, yang mampu menjaga suhu kandang pada kisaran 30°C hingga 33°C, dengan tingkat akurasi pengukuran mencapai 96,47%. Sedangkan untuk deteksi ketersediaan pakan ayam menggunakan sensor ultrasonic. Sistem pemberi pakan dan air minum dapat dimonitor secara real-time melalui aplikasi Blynk, yang responsif dalam memberikan notifikasi terkait ketersediaan pakan dan air.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Pengembangan. Istilah penelitian pengembangan merupakan kata dari Research dan Development. Pengembangan instrumen miskonsepsi pada materi usaha dan energi menggunakan aplikasi dreamweaver yang dikembangkan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE. Tahapan ADDIE terdiri dari Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, evaluation. Tetapi dalam penelitian ini hanya sebatas pada tahap Development karena hanya sebatas tahap Development tujuan dalam penelitian ini telah tercapai. Hasil pengembangan menunjukkan bahwa produk yang telah di kembangkan dapat digunakan karena telah melalui validasi ahli media oleh validator ahli media dengan hasil 3,81 dengan hategori “Sangat Valid”

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon pengguna terhadap penerapan e-assessment berbasis web untuk melakukan penilaian penguasaan keterampilan proses sains pada praktikum Fisika Dasar I materi kerapatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode mixed method desain explanatory dengan data kuantitatif dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket respon pengguna dan lembar wawancara. Adapun subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah asisten laboratorium fisika dasar yang melakukan penilaian keterampilan proses sains praktikan saat melakukan praktikum fisika dasar. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa rerata respon pengguna sebesar 3,36 yang berada di kategori SB (Sangat Baik) terhadap penerapan e-assessment dengan kelebihan e-assessment yang terletak pada efisiensi waktu dalam olah data dan pendistribusian data, hemat biaya pengadaan, dan kemudahan dalam penggunaan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk melihat respon peserta didik terhadap buku elektronik IPA berbasis model PBL (Problem Based Learning). Responden pada penelitian ini berjunlah 39 orang peserta didik kelas VIII SMPN 11 Muaro Jambi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik memberi respon sangat praktis terhadap buku elektronik IPA materi gerak dan gaya berbasis model PBL, dengan nilai rata-rata 3,7 untuk aspek tampilan, 3,56 untuk aspek penyajian materi, 3,64 untuk aspek kebermanfaatan.

Abstract

Digital electronics practicum is one of the subjects studied in the Physics Education Study Program at the University of Jambi. Based on the initial needs questionnaire, it was found that 88% of students stated the logic gate material, including material that was difficult to learn. The purpose of this research is to develop a practicum module on logic gates material. This research is development research that uses the ADDIE development model and is carried out up to the evaluation stage. The subjects of this study were 35 students of Physics Education FKIP Jambi University class of 2017. The instruments used were media and material validation questionnaires as well as student perception questionnaires. The Analyze phase was used to obtain data, namely that there was no review of the material in the practicum guide previously used and work procedures that were difficult to understand. Next is the Design stage, the printed module design is made using the Microsoft Office Word 2010 program. The Develop stage, the development of direct instruction-based digital electronics modules on logic gates material. The results of the validation of the practicum presentation were 87% in the very good category and the results of the material validation were 62% in the good category. As for the results of student perceptions of the product being developed is 89% with a very good category. The advantage of the product being developed is that the experimental procedures are arranged systematically according to the Direct Instruction syntax. Based on these results it can be concluded that the digital electronics practicum module on logic gate material is suitable for use as a learning medium that can be used in the implementation of learning digital electronics practicum courses.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran kinematika gerak lurus berbasis educational robotics dan model inkuiri terbimbing untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang terjadi dalam pembelajaran kinematika. Penelitian ini menjawab tantangan umum dalam pembelajaran kinematika, seperti motivasi yang rendah, miskonsepsi, dan kesulitan dalam memvisualisasikan gerak, dengan mengintegrasikan teknologi robotik (Roblock) dan pemrograman blok (mBlock) untuk memberikan pengalaman belajar yang konkret dan interaktif. Penelitian ini menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) dengan tidak melakukan tahap Implementation dikarenakan waktu yang terbatas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul yang dikembangkan mencapai validitas tinggi, dengan skor validasi ahli materi 97,3% dan validasi ahli media 93,6%, yang menunjukkan kesiapan yang sangat baik untuk digunakan di kelas. Modul ini secara efektif menggabungkan penjelasan teoritis dengan eksperimen robotik langsung, memfasilitasi pembelajaran aktif melalui tahap-tahap inkuiri terbimbing (identifikasi masalah, perumusan hipotesis, eksperimen, analisis data, dan kesimpulan). Kekuatan utama termasuk ketersediaan format ganda (cetak dan digital), alur pembelajaran yang terstruktur, dan keselarasan dengan Kurikulum Merdeka, yang menekankan keterampilan abad ke-21 seperti berpikir kritis dan kolaborasi. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa modul berbasis robotika ini menawarkan solusi inovatif untuk mengajarkan kinematika, mengubah konsep abstrak menjadi pengalaman belajar yang nyata.

Abstract

Students' poor understanding of the concepts of work and energy leads to students' difficulties in connecting theory to practice, as well as students' lack of ability to apply the concepts of work and energy in problem solving. In addition, the use of robotic technology can increase student involvement in the learning process and help students understand abstract concepts through practical experience. This development aims to produce a product in the form of an Educational Robotics-based Work and Energy learning module using a Structured Inquiry model as a solution to these problems. The purpose of this research is to determine the initial study and validity of the module. The development model used is the ADDIE development model. The data analysis technique used is the spiral method and quantitative descriptive statistical analysis. Based on the data analysed, there are two research findings. Firstly, interviews were conducted with educators at the needs analysis stage. Secondly, the results of validation by media experts were 87,05% with a very valid category and the results of validation by material experts were 90,35% with a very valid category. The results of this study conclude that the Educational Robotics-based Work and Energy learning module with the Structured Inquiry model is valid for use in learning.

Abstract

The problem that occurs in research schools is that students have difficulty in visualizing vector material with real context. After conducting the analysis, the solution provided to the above problem is in the form of robotic educational media. The use of educational robotics is expected to help students understand the vector material produced from the visualization of robot movements. This development aims to produce a product in the form of an educational robotic-based learning module using a structured inquiry model to improve students' computational thinking skills. The products that have been produced will be tested for validity by material experts and media experts. The development model used in this study is the ADDIE model which has only reached the development stage. The subjects of the study are physics teachers, material experts, and media experts. The data analysis technique used during the interview is spiral. Meanwhile, data from material experts and media experts used quantitative descriptive analysis. Based on the data of the validation results that have been obtained from the first subject matter expert is 78.27% with fairly valid criteria. The second material expert gave a score of 96.53 with very valid criteria and media experts got a validation score of 92.83% with very valid criteria. Based on the results of the validation above, the educational robotics-based vector learning module uses a structured inquiry model to improve computational thinking skills that are suitable for use.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning interest of students in physics, particularly in Newton’s Laws, which is caused by the hectic schedule of students from morning until evening, resulting in limited time and motivation to study. To address this issue, a Newton’s Laws learning module based on educational robotics was developed using the guided inquiry model as a learning approach that emphasizes exploratory activities and conceptual understanding through direct experience. The development model applied in this study was the ADDIE model, limited to the development stage. The research subjects consisted of physics teachers, material experts, and media experts. Data were collected through interviews and Focus Group Discussions (FGD) to obtain feedback and validation of the developed product. Data analysis was conducted using quantitative descriptive analysis for validation results and qualitative analysis for FGD results. The validation results showed that the average score from material experts was 88.8%, and the average score from media experts was 90.75%, both of which fall into the very valid category. Based on these results, the Newton’s Laws learning module based on educational robotics using the guided inquiry model was declared very valid and feasible for use in physics learning. This medium is expected to increase students’ learning interest through a more engaging and meaningful learning experience.
