Abstract

The study, conducted in response to the shortcomings of the digital learning system in facilitating the Physics learning process with the project based learning model. So the purpose of this study is to develop a Teacher Tools Assistance System  website as an answer to this problem. This study adopts the RnD method with the ADDIE model development framework focused on three stages, namely analysis, design, and development. The analysis stage examines the curriculum and learning environment. At the design stage, a prototype of the Teacher Tools Assistance System website is produced which is then tested at the development stage. The development stage is carried out with various tests, namely the Black-Box test, installation/launch, validation by media experts and material experts, and user responses involving 58 students of SMAN 3 Kota Jambi class XI. As a result, in the Black Box test, the website functionality achieved 100% on the teacher's page and 96% on the student's page. In the media expert validation, the score given was 4.44, which was categorized as very feasible. While the validation by material experts 1 and 2 rated it 4.50 and 4.47, categorizing it as very feasible category. In addition, the response from users gave a score of 4.20 in the category of worthy of the product. However, there are still shortcomings including the appearance of the website, website navigation that is not yet user friendly, and the emergence of bugs.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate a Make Up Artist service booking system using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method with PIECES evaluation. The evaluation was conducted using a pre-test and post-test approach to compare system conditions before and after implementation. The PIECES method was applied to measure system quality based on six dimensions: performance, information, economy, control, efficiency, and service. The results indicate that the average system quality score increased from 54% before implementation to 84% after implementation, showing an improvement of 30%. These findings demonstrate that the implemented system significantly improves service quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Therefore, the combination of RAD and PIECES evaluation is effective in enhancing the quality of Make Up Artist service booking systems.

Abstract

The automotive industry is a significant contributor to environmental concerns. The automotive industry is also under increasing pressure to move towards sustainability due to its role in generating emissions and high energy consumption. As a result, it has an impact on environmental aspects such as air pollution, water pollution or other pollution obtained from industrial activities, which can be minimized so that it cannot become an environmental burden. To help analyze the environmental impact of the cylinder head manufacturing process, a Life Cycle Assessment is required. To support the company's sustainability, a sustainable index value is calculated based on three pillars: economic, environmental, and social. This research focuses on the casting, machining and assy engine processes. The primary objective is to identify the processes with the most significant environmental impact, thereby calculating the company's sustainable index value. This research employs the Life Cycle Assessment method, utilizing SimaPro software, to calculate the impact of the production process and determine the sustainable index (SI) based on the acquired impact value. The method used is EDIP 2003, with the impact categories analyzed, namely Human Toxicity Water, Aquatic Eutrophication EP, Adification, Ecotoxicity water. Based on the results obtained, the most significant impact among the four other impacts is Aquatic Euthropication with the most significant contribution to eletricity with a total value of 0.38938 GPt in the engine assy process. Based on the results obtained, alternative improvements can be suggested, such as the use of solar energy (solar panel system) and the utilization of carbon capture and storage technology, as well as other proposed improvement scenarios. With the implementation of the proposed scenario, the overall sustainable index value increases to 53.81% from 57.47% previously.

Abstract

Background: Continuous high blood pressure causes the heart to work extra hard, eventually this condition results in damage to the blood vessels of the heart, kidneys, brain, and eyes. Hypertension management is recommended to minimize pharmacological therapy with the aim of avoiding side effects. Non-pharmacological efforts that can be done in patients with hypertension are by controlling various aspects such as deep breathing techniques. Purpose: This study aims to determine the effect of deep breathing relaxation techniques to reducing blood pressure in the elderly with hypertension. Quasy-experiment pre-post-test with control group was conducted on 108 elderlies with hypertension at a Puskesmas located in Subang with simple random sampling technique. Methods: This study was conducted by providing deep breathing techniques to the elderly in the treatment group for 3 months. The statistical test used was the independent t test and chi-square. Results: The deep breathing relaxation technique given at a dose of 15 minutes 3 times a day for 3 months has been shown to have an effect on reducing blood pressure in the elderly. Conclusion: Future research can conduct research on deep breathing by paying more attention to confounding variables such as stress, anxiety, and diet.

Abstract

Heart disease is one of the leading causes of death worldwide, with a death toll reaching 17.9 million cases annually according to the World Health Organization (WHO) and a prevalence of 1.5% in Indonesia. This high mortality rate demonstrates the importance of early detection and accurate prediction to prevent more serious complications. The development of artificial intelligence technology, particularly machine learning, offers a new approach in the medical field through the ability to analyze clinical data quickly and efficiently. This study was conducted to compare the performance of two machine learning algorithms, namely Random Forest and K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), in predicting heart disease using a clinical dataset from Kaggle containing 20 samples and 9 attributes related to the patient's physiological condition. The parameter optimization process in both algorithms was carried out using grid search techniques with cross-validation to obtain the best model that can perform optimally on a limited dataset. Performance evaluation was carried out using accuracy, recall, and precision metrics to comprehensively measure the quality of the model predictions. The results of the study showed that the Random Forest algorithm provided superior performance with an accuracy of 0.75, a recall of 0.88, and a precision of 0.86, compared to KNN which only achieved an accuracy of 0.50, a recall of 0.67, and a precision of 0.67. These findings indicate that Random Forest is more effective in identifying the presence of heart disease, especially in terms of sensitivity to positive cases and prediction consistency. Thus, Random Forest has the potential to be a more appropriate algorithm for implementation in machine learning-based clinical decision support systems, to support the process of diagnosing heart disease more accurately and efficiently.
