Abstract

This research reviews about national education budget in the study of Islamic education policy. The federal education budget is part of the political education policy in Indonesia. The politic of education budget can be realized through systems made in a country. Government policy regarding education budget allocation of 20% is by the mandate of the 1945 constitution as included in the Draft State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (RAPBN). It is explained explicitly in the Statute of National Education System No.20 Year 2003 in article 49. This policy also becomes a lantern which can ease the economic burden of the poor to send their children to school because they have received funding from the government. However, the realization of the budget education of 20% may not be disbursed according to the benchmark percentage. Besides, there is Islamic education which has its institution in managing educational practices. This research was qualitative by collecting literature data from various primary and secondary references. Politic in education budget can make people more eager if all policy can protect other educational components, especially in the realm of Islamic education.Penelitian ini mengulas tentang anggaran pendidikan nasional dalam studi kebijakan pendidikan Islam. Anggaran pendidikan federal adalah bagian dari kebijakan pendidikan politik di Indonesia. Politik anggaran pendidikan dapat diwujudkan melalui sistem yang dibuat di suatu negara. Kebijakan pemerintah tentang alokasi anggaran pendidikan sebesar 20% adalah dengan mandat UUD 1945 sebagaimana tercantum dalam Rancangan Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Negara (RAPBN). Hal ini dijelaskan secara eksplisit dalam Undang-Undang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional No.20 Tahun 2003 dalam pasal 49. Kebijakan ini juga menjadi lentera yang dapat meringankan beban ekonomi orang miskin untuk menyekolahkan anak-anak mereka karena mereka telah menerima dana dari pemerintah. Namun, realisasi anggaran pendidikan 20% tidak dapat dicairkan sesuai dengan persentase patokan. Selain itu, ada pendidikan Islam yang memiliki institusi dalam mengelola praktik pendidikan. Penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan data literatur dari berbagai referensi primer dan sekunder. Politik dalam anggaran pendidikan dapat membuat orang lebih bersemangat jika semua kebijakan dapat melindungi komponen pendidikan lainnya, terutama di bidang pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

Bombings in the name of Islam, such as in Turkey, Indonesia, and the French have damaged the integrity of Islam. These acts of extremism are ubiquitous and lead to Islamophobia especially in western countries. While in fact, Islam has taught and promoted the concept of moderation (wasatiyyah) since its emergence in order to avoid extremism among humankind. One of the main underpinning verses in the Qur’an that talks about the concept of wasatiyyah is Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 143. This paper explores two different views of theological schools, namely Al-Zamakhshari, who represents the Mu‘tazilites and Fakhr al-Dīn al-Rāzī, who represents the Ash’arites in dealing with the verse and its interpretations. In its analysis, the paper applied a theological approach to analyze the primary materials. It is expected that the findings will help in the implementation of the concept of moderation (Wasatiyyah) in the contemporary era. Finally, it will also serve as a guide on the ideal way of practicing Islam in order to eliminate and reduce extremism and foster peaceful co-existence between Muslims and adherents of other religions in the world.Pemboman atas nama Islam, seperti di Turki, Indonesia, dan Prancis telah merusak integritas Islam. Tindakan ekstremisme ini ada di mana-mana dan mengarah ke Islamofobia terutama di negara-negara barat. Padahal sebenarnya, Islam telah mengajarkan dan mempromosikan konsep moderasi (wasatiyyah) sejak kemunculannya untuk menghindari ekstremisme di antara umat manusia. Salah satu ayat utama yang mendasari dalam Al-Qur'an yang berbicara tentang konsep wasatiyyah adalah Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayat 143. Makalah ini mengeksplorasi dua pandangan yang berbeda dari sekolah-sekolah teologis, yaitu Al-Zamakhshari, yang mewakili Mu'tazilah dan Fakhr al-Dīn al-Rāzī, yang mewakili kaum Ash'ari dalam kaitannya dengan ayat dan interpretasinya. Dalam analisisnya, makalah ini menerapkan pendekatan teologis untuk menganalisis bahan-bahan primer. Diharapkan temuan ini akan membantu dalam penerapan konsep moderasi (wasatiyyah) di era kontemporer. Akhirnya, itu juga akan berfungsi sebagai panduan tentang cara ideal mempraktikkan Islam untuk menghilangkan dan mengurangi ekstrimisme dan menumbuhkan ko-eksistensi damai antara Muslim dan penganut agama lain di dunia.

Abstract

This research was conducted aiming to describe the needs of schools, programming, division of executive tasks, the implementation of community relations activities, and evaluation of monitoring of school relations with the community in Kendal 1 State Middle School, Ngawi, East Java, Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative phenomenological design that is based on field observations, interviews, and documentation. This research produces an analysis of school needs following procedures, very specific program activities, appropriate goals and objectives as well as actions taken, division of tasks following program planning and implementation of activities running according to procedures, the direction of synergy coordination, motivation, communication and to provide guidance , monitoring and evaluation of school needs in improving the quality of learning needs to be improved.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa persoalan kesejahteraan dan kualitas guru merupakan dimensi yang pertama dan utama dalam mewujudkan pendidikan nasional yang paripurna. Pendidikan di Indonesia saat ini sedang menghadapi masalah yang begitu kompleks, salah satunya adalah rendahnya kualitas tenaga kependidikan atau guru sebagai masalah pokoknya. Selain itu, masih kurangnya kesejahteraan bagi guru juga menjadi masalah pendidikan pada saat ini. Guru merupakan ujung tombak dari pendidikan, dan pendidikan adalah kunci dari pembangunan nasional suatu negara. Karena peran guru yang sangat krusial ini maka penting untuk memberi penghargaan kepada guru atau pendidik. Fakta yang terjadi di Indonesia adalah cerminan kesejahteraan guru masih dianggap kurang, khususnya guru yang berpredikat sebagai honorer. Oleh karena itu, kesejahteraan bagi semua guru perlu menjadi titik perhatian pemerintah dalam rangka mewujudkan pendidikan sejahtera untuk semua guru.

Abstract

This article describes the role of Islamic education in the implementation of educational autonomy that occurs in Indonesia, both in Islamic educational institutions and in general education institutions. The results of the study indicate that Islamic education plays a major role in the implementation of educational autonomy. This is because Islamic education is a separate part that is able to implement its curriculum in Islamic educational institutions. This research is a literature study so that the data analyzed are sourced from various literature references by using literature analysis in revealing the data. Thus, the implementation of educational autonomy in various Indonesian educational institutions goes well together in accordance with the educational and learning objectives to be achieved. In the context of Islamic education itself, the entire PAI curriculum is able to synergies with other subjects implemented in schools and madrasa.

Abstract

This article used a qualitative method with the approach of study- ing literature in the fields of religious psychology, Islamic psychology, and culture to obtain concepts and theories that are relevant to studies on facing the anxiety and worries caused by the outbreak of COVID-19. The results reveal the COVID-19 outbreak has various impacts on Indo- nesian people, they are encouraged to express optimism, psychological sensitivity, and social piety through various empathical (caring) ways as the implementation of the theology of al-Ma’un. And through tazkiyyatu al-Nafs and dhikr as models to eliminate anxiety and worries caused by COVID-19. Media reporting about COVID-19, besides being informa- tive, also causes anxiety so that sensitivity and social piety of the com- munity are needed. This article explained that through the rites of tazkiyyatu al-Nafs, dhikr, and implementation of al-Ma’un theology de- veloped by KH. Ahmad Dahlan, as well as a collaboration of cultural approaches with the psychology of religion, can reduce the level of anxi- ety, worry, and fear of the people caused by COVID-19.

Abstract

This research investigates the importance of pedagogical-based multicultural education in social life, particularly in Islam. A multicultural study is not a new thing, but it has limited implementation. Based on the theory of H.A.R Tilaar about multicultural education, it has inherently existed since this Indonesian nation existed. The state philosophy of the Republic of Indonesia is unity in diversity (Bhinneka Tunggal Ika), cooperation helping each other, and respect one another. It can be seen from the chronological portrait of this nation that there are various foreign tribes and continues to acculturate with the indigenous people. Multicultural education gives hope in dealing with various turmoil which happened recently. This study employed qualitative research. The analysis method and the source were taken from the literature study. Thus, the research sources were taken from literature by using a qualitative approach. Hence, the researcher explored the number of data, both primary and secondary data. They used concrete steps, such as reading and examining the primary data in-depth, such as research results, journals, thesis, or dissertations related to multicultural and Islamic education. Consequently, multicultural education is a necessity in educational institutions. Penelitian ini mengkaji pentingnya pendidikan multikultural yang berbasis pada pedagogik dalam kehidupan sosial khususnya dalam Islam. Kajian multikultural bukan sesuatu yang baru, namun implementasinya dapat dihitung waktunya. Dalam pemikiran H.A.R Tilaar tentang pendidikan multikultural secara inhern sudah ada sejak bangsa Indonesia ini ada. Falsafah bangsa Indonesia adalah bhineka tunggal ika, suka gotong royong, membantu, dan menghargai antar satu dengan yang lainnya. Betapa dapat dilihat dalam potret kronologis bangsa ini yang sarat dengan masuknya berbagai suku bangsa asing dan terus berakulturasi dengan masyarakat pribumi. pendidikan multikultural memberikan secercah harapan dalam mengatasi berbagai gejolak masyarakat yang terjadi akhir-akhir ini. Pendidikan multikultural adalah pendidikan yang senantiasa menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai, keyakinan, heterogenitas, pluralitas dan keragaman, apapun aspeknya dalam masyarakat. Dengan demikian, pendidikan multikultural yang tidak menjadikan semua manusia sebagai manusia yang bermodel sama, berkepribadian sama, berintelektual sama, atau bahkan berkepercayaan yang sama pula. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang dimana cara menganalisis dan mengambil sumber melalui studi pustaka. Dalam artian yaitu penelitian yang bersumber dari bahan-bahan kepustakaan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Oleh karena itu, yang dilakukan adalah eksplorasi terhadap sejumlah data baik itu data primer maupun data sekunder dengan langkah konkret sebagai berikut: membaca serta menelaah secara mendalam data primer seperti buku yang merupakan hasil penelitian, Jurnal, tesis maupun disertasi yang terkait dengan pendidikan multikultural dan pendidikan Islam. Karena itu, pendidikan multikultural merupakan suatu keniscayaan dalam lembaga pendidikan.

Abstract

The changes in curriculum and everything in between such as development of Islamic education, science, development innovation, change and others are inevitability which generate new challenges in the field. Facing this reality, all element of society expects that the role of Islamic religious education which indeed has taught moral and spiritual value. Therefore the urgency of Islamic religious education in providing teachings or guidelines for social activities becomes a very urgent need. In line with the statement, we need an educators who have creativity and innovation to be able to develop learning well and professionally. No matter how good the curriculum design is, if the delivery is not good, an effective learning will certainly not work. Scientific based learning implementation in Islamic education must be conducted to face dynamic things in educational world including the digital industry development

Abstract

This study explores the numerous problems that come up from teachers of Islamic Religious Education in public schools. Learning in fiqh is learning based on an interpretation of a topic that comes from the al-Qur'an and al-Hadith. As it is understood that each individual or group 's understanding has to be different, it all depends on the point of view or how to interpret the various problems that occur in learning fiqh. Particularly in public school learning which has different nuances from madrasah and Islamic boarding schools. Every educational institution, under the auspices of Islamic mass organisations and public schools, has different problems. Thus, this study explores what are the issues with public schools studying jurisprudence. The aim of this study was to recognize the different problems faced by educational institutions, in this case fiqh learning in public schools. The approach used in this analysis is a qualitative method by evaluating the fiqh learning difficulties that arise in public schools, both through the perspective of the teachers themselves and the students.

Abstract

This Research explains that fiqh education and family roles in the middle covid-19 pandemy, fiqh comes from Arabic that has the sense of understanding or knowledge of thing. While based on the term, fiqh is an understanding of Islamic laws that are in accordance with the Qur'an and Hadith. Education in Islam is often referred to as al-tarbiyah that comes from the root word rabb that has the basic meaning of growing, developing, maintaining, regulating, and preserving. Based on health experts, Covid-19 is a disease caused by the acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 when it attacks humans. This virus is very dangerous. Therefore, the government has implemented several policies to reduce the potential for covid-19 transmission, any activities that involve direct interaction are limited, this has an impact, especially on the education system, that will have high potential for the transmission of the Covid-19 virus. The government took a policy to close schools, madrasas, universities and Islamic boarding schools. Thus, learning activities could not take place as usual. It is conducted out by distance, or online learning.
