Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explain the history, duties, and potential development of Sharia Insurance in Indonesia. In this research, the author uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis type of research. This research uses a literature study method or library research sourced from books and journals that are in accordance with the topic and focus of the research. The results of the literature review in this study concluded that sharia insurance is a way to deal with risks and calamities in life, such as death, accidents, illness, and old age. Its main purpose is to provide financial protection, manage risk, apply sharia principles, and empower the community. Islamic insurance products include various forms of protection, such as health insurance, children's education, retirement preparation, and investment.

Abstract

This article aims to explore whether the application of Islamic principles has been properly implemented in Islamic leasing institutions. The sharia label on Islamic financial institutions implies several consequences in the system and operational concepts that must comply with sharia principles. This type of research uses a literature study with descriptive research methods. Sharia does not lie in the term musyarakah or mudharabah alone which in practice sometimes contradicts the value of Islam itself. In its application, there are many leasing companies that apply the principles of Islamic law, but some leasing companies labelled as sharia are not in accordance with the principles of Islamic law because they are still very profit-oriented

Abstract

As Muslims, we are encouraged to carry out the Hajj pilgrimage in accordance with the fifth pillar of Islam. In Indonesia, the number of registrants for the Hajj pilgrimage continues to increase from year to year. Therefore, the Hajj Financial Management Agency (BPKH) was formed as an institution authorized to manage Hajj finances. The aim of this research is to explain the meaning, history, objectives and business activities of the Hajj Financial Management Agency, as well as the profile of the relevant institutions. This research method uses library research, namely by searching and collecting data from various sources. The results of this research are that the Hajj Financial Management Agency (BPKH) is an institution tasked with managing Hajj finances based on Law Article 20 Number 34 of 2014. The birth of BPKH was caused by irregularities in the Ministry of Religion, namely the management of Hajj finances which combined Hajj fund management and implementation. , then on July 26 2017 BPKH was officially established on the legal basis of Law Number 34 of 2014. The role of BPKH is to manage the Hajj economy which includes approval, guidance, expenditure and responsibility for the Hajj economy. BPKH has the right to obtain operational funds for the implementation of the Hajj Financial management program which is sourced from the value of the Hajj Financial benefits.

Abstract

Islamic pension funds are Islamic financial institutions that have characteristics to be used in order to maintain the continuity of one's income when one is no longer productively working. The purpose of this research is to find out how the role of Islamic pension funds in improving Islamic finance. This type of research is qualitative research by describing data in the form of words, schemes, images and series of sentences. The research method used is library research, which is a method of collecting data by understanding and studying theories from various literatures related to the research. Data collection uses the method of finding sources and constructing them from various sources, such as books, journals, research, law books, fiqh siyasah books, maqasid sharia books, Islamic law encyclopedias, Islamic law journals, language dictionaries and legal dictionaries, and other literature sources. The result of this research is that the increase in the number of participants in sharia pension funds occurs because Indonesian people are interested in using sharia financial products. The existence of an institution that stands in helping people like DPLK Muamalat in preparing their retirement from an early age is very easy for the people of Indonesia.

Abstract

A sharia financial institution is an entity whose activities in the field of sharia finance and whose assets are based on sharia principles, both in financial and other matters. One of the sharia financial institutions in Indonesia is Pegadaian Syariah (Rahn). Rahn is an agreement to hand over goods as collateral for a debt, which allows the person concerned to borrow money. The implementation carried out by sharia pawnshops includes efforts to foster sharia financial literacy in the community, which will later be able to help the family economy and give rise to new businesses when people understand and know about sharia pawnshops. Due to the lack of public interest in sharia finance, especially sharia pawnshops, the aim of this research is to communicate the concept of pawning in classical jurisprudence literature, the implementation of Rahn contracts in sharia pawnshops and ways to increase public interest in sharia financial institutions, especially sharia pawnshops. Abstract

The presence of sharia venture capital is needed to provide access to capital for sharia startups. Sharia venture capital not only provides capital but also supports and guides sharia startups so they can grow and develop. Even though venture capital companies in a region have not yet been named sharia venture capital, but they have implemented sharia principles, because in financing. This research is a type of research using qualitative methods. The information and data collection technique in this research is carried out through library research (library study), using library sources that are related to the research subject that has been formulated. The purpose of this research is to find out about sharia venture capital, the history of sharia venture capital and the business activities of legal entities or laws regarding sharia venture capital.

Abstract

This research aims to find out about the sharia capital market. This research method uses a literature study approach sourced from books according to the topic and focuses on research. The results of the literature review in this research conclude that the Islamic capital market is a capital market whose entire activity mechanism, especially regarding issuers, the types of securities traded and the trading mechanism is in accordance with sharia principles. The capital market or stock exchange has been around since the Dutch colonial era and to be precise in 1912 in Batavia. The capital market plays a role in carrying out two functions simultaneously, namely an economic function and a financial function. Legal entities in carrying out sharia capital market activities are regulated by Bapepam-Lk.

Abstract

Zakat is the third pillar of Islam after reciting the shahada and praying and before fasting and Hajj. Because it is harmonious, the zakat service must be carried out by all Muslims in the world because it is an obligation. Zakat is a category of obligatory worship and social worship. This research uses qualitative research methods, namely literature study. This research explores previous primary data sources (books) that published articles/views and journals with research topics and focuses. A qualitative approach that uses an explicit literature review strategy. The results of this research show that zakat and waqf have a big influence on the Indonesian economy.

Abstract

The relationship between Maqasid Syariah and Maslahah is very close, because the purpose of Maqasid Syariah itself is to achieve the benefit of the people. This study aims to describe the values of maslahah contained in the investment activities of Islamic mutual funds. This study uses qualitative methods through the study of literature. Data collection techniques are carried out by searching for relevant library materials, then studying them and analyzing them in depth so that they can support the statements that have been presented. The development of the Islamic capital market, which shows a positive trend in its growth, certainly provides new hope for a more stable Indonesian economy. The benefits of Sharia mutual funds in the perspective of Maqashid Syariah include mutual funds as halal investment instruments and mutual funds as the realization of the ta'awun principle. The challenge of Sharia mutual fund development in Indonesia is the low literacy of the community towards Sharia-based investment products. But when viewed from its growth, Islamic finance has a great opportunity to grow in Indonesia.

Abstract

The development of Islamic financial institutions in Indonesia requires the alertness of DSN-MUI in solving the problems that occur, especially related to product innovation needed by the community. Therefore, DSN-MUI has affiliated parties that will provide their services to Sharia banks or Sharia Business Units (UUS) in ensuring the implementation of Sharia principles in Islamic banking activities in Indonesia, namely the Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS) and the National Sharia Council (DSN). The research method used in this research is a library research method with a qualitative descriptive approach. With the use of the literature study data collection method or library research, the author does not need to go directly to the field for data collection, but only by taking various supporting reference sources, be it online references or books to support the writing of this article. The result of this research is that the author and readers can find out how the implementation of the Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS) and the Sharia National Board (DSN) in realizing Good Corporate Governance (GCG) in Islamic banking in Indonesia.
