Abstract

This study analyzes customer protection policies in Islamic digital banks in Indonesia within the framework of Islamic economics. The research focuses on evaluating the effectiveness of policies implemented to protect customers, particularly in the areas of personal data security, information transparency, and dispute resolution mechanisms. Using a literature review method, the study finds that most Islamic digital banks in Indonesia have implemented protective measures, including data encryption technology, provision of product information, and customer complaint systems. However, challenges remain, such as limited customer understanding of Islamic terminology and the need for improved efficiency in complaint resolution. This study recommends enhancements in data security education, simplification of language, and utilization of technology in customer service. The findings are expected to assist Islamic digital banks in improving the quality of customer protection and strengthening trust in Islamic digital banking services that align with Sharia principles.

Abstract

This study explores the dynamics of digital investment in Indonesia within the framework of Islamic economics. The rapid advancement of technology has facilitated the growth of Sharia-compliant investments through digital platforms, making investment more accessible to the Muslim population. This research categorizes several prominent types of Sharia-compliant digital investments, including Online Sharia Mutual Funds, Sharia-Compliant Stocks, UMKM Crowdfunding, Digital Gold, and Online Sharia Property. Each type is evaluated based on its adherence to Islamic principles, legal regulations, and associated risks and opportunities. The study finds that while digital investment platforms offer considerable accessibility and inclusivity, ensuring Sharia compliance remains a challenge amid evolving regulations and technological innovations. Furthermore, the study addresses the regulatory frameworks that oversee these investment types, such as POJK regulations and MUI fatwas, which play a crucial role in maintaining compliance. This research contributes to the ongoing development of Islamic digital finance in Indonesia, providing insights for regulators, platform providers, and investors who seek to expand Sharia-compliant digital investments responsibly.

Abstract

Nganjuk Regency is one of the regions where the majority of the population is Muslim, and it has a fairly strong economy, particularly in the agricultural sector, as it is one of the largest producers of shallots in East Java. The community requires financial institutions to manage their income. This study aims to determine the influence of Islamic financial literacy, facilities, and public trust on the interest in saving at Islamic Banks among rural communities in Nganjuk. The method used is quantitative research with an associative research type. Data analysis technique uses Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The research results show that the Islamic financial literacy variable has a positive and significant influence on interest in saving at Sharia Banks. Meanwhile, the facility and trust variables do not have a positive and significant effect on interest in saving at Sharia Banks. The results of this study indicate that improving financial literacy in Islamic banking can encourage interest in saving at Islamic Banks, particularly among the rural community in Nganjuk. Therefore, it is important for Islamic financial institutions to focus on Islamic financial education to enhance community participation in saving at Islamic banks, even though facilities and trust do not show a significant impact.
