Abstract

The goal of this research was to determine how competence functions as a mediator between performance, training, and motivation. This study performed a multivariate analysis with a descriptive and explanatory quantitative strategy. The research sample consisted of 80 respondents selected by employing a proportional sampling technique. Data were collected through an instrument questionnaire and analyzed using the partial least squares (PLS) approach of structural equation modeling (SEM). The results showed that: Motivation and training both have a substantial impact on performance; Motivation and training both have a substantial impact on performance; Competence has a significant role in performance as a mediator variable, competence has a considerable ability to mediate the influence of motivation and training on performance. The results of the calculation of the square value of multiple correlations (R2) of 0.274 and 0.572 respectively show the strength of the competence dependent variable and employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of human resource management in improving street vendor business in Kute Mandalika and the obstacles passed in increasing street vendor business in Kute Mandalika. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach. Data analysis techniques are the process of systematically searching and compiling data obtained from interviews, field notes, and other materials so that they can be easily understood and the findings can be informed to others. The result of this study is that the role of human resources in street vendors in Kute Mandalika is very important in increasing the income of the people there. With this, traders can manage their trades. Street vendors can compete fairly with other vendors. The obstacle that is often experienced is the lack of knowledge of street vendors about their trade management. Awareness of street vendors' compliance with local government regulations.

Abstract

This study aims at collecting information and analyzing it with respect to the structure, conduct, and market performance of chrysanthemum cut flowers in Cianjur Regency. The research design is descriptively and explanatively quantitative, with multivariate analysis method using 10 reviews. The samples of the research were 72 respondents. Data collection was carried out by interviews, recording and observations. The results of the research indicate that: (1) the market structure belongs to the oligopoly market with CR4 with 85 percent control; (2) each marketing agency performs the same marketing functions but with different behavior; (3) channel one has the highest total margin of 56.52 percent, while channel three has the most efficient margin of 50 percent; (4) in the short term the market at the farmer level and the market at the consumer level are not integrated, but it is integrated in the long term; and (5) the existence of capital cooperation between village collectors encourages an inefficient market and farmers do not have a bargaining position

Abstract

Chronic liver disease is primarily attributed to the hepatitis C virus. Disorders of liver function can inhibit metabolism and threaten health. Hepatitis C disease must be detected earlier to reduce the risk of spreading it. Data processing using the Binary Logistic Regression and Adaptive Boosting classification methods to predict the category of patients with positive or negative hepatitis C status. Problems with unbalanced data are found in the classification process. Data imbalance can be overcome with the Synthetic Minority Over-Sampling Technique (SMOTE). Data retrieval was obtained from the 2020 UCI (University of California Irvine) Machine Learning Repository regarding data on predictions of hepatitis C patients which were downloaded on October 25, 2022. The results for the accuracy of the classification show that the Binary Logistic Regression method produces an accuracy value of 97,44%, the value sensitivity of 100%, and specificity of 97,17%. The accuracy of the classification produced by the Adaptive Boosting method with an accuracy value of 92,31%, a sensitivity value of 63,64%, and specificity of 100%. Binary Logistic Regression is the best method that can classify hepatitis C status of patients with the highest sensitivity of 100%.

Abstract

Investment is an important way to manage finances for profit. One of the most popular investments in Indonesia is buying and selling shares. In addition to getting profits, they also have risks.  Therefore, analyzing stock prices before buying and selling is an important key in stock investing. Investors should buy stocks at a low price and sell them at a high price. One of the methods used is parametric regression analysis, but it has assumptions that must be met. A more flexible alternative is local polynomial regression without any particular assumptions. PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk with MDKA stock code is a company engaged in the mining and industrialization of gold, silver, and other associated minerals. The study of modeling the lowest daily price of MDKA shares using local polynomial regression showed excellent results. The high coefficient of determination exceeding 67% on the in-sample data indicates strong model performance, and the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) value on the out-of-sample data is less than 10%, ensuring excellent model accuracy. Keywords: local polynomial regression; MDKA shares; time series

Abstract

Classic time series data analysis techniques, such as autoregressive, model stationary data in which the values of prior observations influence the current observations through a process known as linear regression. There are several requirements for error assumptions in autoregressive, including independence, normal distribution with a zero mean and constant variance. It is frequently discovered that these assumptions are challenging to verify when modelling real data. Kernel time series regression is an alternative model that does not require error assumptions. Non-stationary time series data can be effectively modelled using the kernel time series method. Time series data that isn't yet stationary is made stationary first, then the data is modified by forming the current stationary time series data as the response variable and the previous period data as the predictor variable. Next, regression kernel modelling is carried out while applying kernel weight function and determining the optimal bandwidth. For development of science, the optimal bandwidth can be achieved by minimizing the MSE, CV, GCV, or UBR values. It is possible to use R2 or MAPE as the kernel time series regression model's goodness metric. A strong model is generated while modelling MDKA stock price data using kernel regression utilizing the Gaussian kernel function and optimal bandwidth selection using GCV since R2 is 0.9828372 more than 0.67 and MAPE is 1.985681% under 10%.Keywords: 3 time series; kernel regression; GCV; MDKA stock price.
