Abstract

People with severe mental disorder (PSMD; Orang Dengan Gangguan Jiwa, ODGJ) are a vulnerable group of people who experience loss of their rights to life because of their mental limitations, namely the right to work and earn an income independently. In previous activities, there was an opportunity for PSMD to recover through a series of training. To achieve recovery, it is necessary to hold a patient selection program so that patients who take part in the training series are not in the acute phase. Mental health cadres who are close to the community have a big role in determining which PSMD will then take part in entrepreneurship training activities. Therefore, mental health cadres need to deepen their insight into mental disorders and increase their empowerment in patient selection programs for PSMD. This activity aims to increase the understanding of mental health cadres regarding mental disorders and increase their empowerment in implementing patient selection programs for PSMD. The method used was by conducting outreach to mental health cadres regarding the topic of mental disorders as well as providing patient selection program training to mental health cadres. Before counseling and training, a 10-minute pre-test was conducted for the participants, then continued with an outreach and training session as well as questions and answers and discussions for approximately 60 minutes, and at the end a 10-minute post-test was carried out. The results showed an increase in pre-test and post-test data on the topic of mental disorders as well as an increase in empowerment by mental health cadre participants in carrying out patient selection programs. Community service activities regarding patient selection program training for mental health cadres in developing independent businesses for PSMD families in the Gresik district have provided improvements to mental health cadres, namely in the form of increased insight regarding mental disorders and increased empowerment in carrying out patient selection programs for PSMD.

Abstract

Introduction: Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder brought on by insufficient insulin production by the pancreas or inefficient insulin utilization by the organism. This study determines the effectivity between cinnamon infusion and lemongrass stew in reducing blood glucose levels in diabetes mellitus patients. Method: This study uses a design pra-experimental by method two-group pre-post design. The sample of this study were diabetics who were willing to be respondents as many as 20 people. The dependent variable is blood glucose levels, the independent variables are lemongrass stew and cinnamon infusion. The instrument used is the observation sheet. Result & Analysis: test results for lemongrass stew with cinnamon infusion were obtained in treatment group 1 (p = 0.502) and treatment group 2 (p = 0.730) where α > 0.05, meaning that statistically there was no difference in blood glucose levels reduction between treatment groups 1 (lemongrass) and treatment group 2 (cinnamon). Discussion: There was no difference in reducing blood glucose levels between treatment group 1 (lemongrass) and treatment group 2 (cinnamon).

Abstract

Introduction: Individuals with diabetes mellitus must adhere to a series of examinations, which includes blood sugar monitoring. The effects of progressive muscle relaxation and lemon aromatherapy on blood sugar levels in individuals with type 2 diabetes are compared in this study as non-pharmacological interventions for controlling or lowering blood sugar increase that persons with diabetes mellitus can conduct on their own at home. Method: The methodology of pre-experimental research is used. The study population consists of 36 volunteer diabetes patients who are divided into two groups using simple random sampling. The dependent variable is the blood sugar levels of patients with type 2 diabetes. The independent variables in this study are progressive muscle relaxation and lemon aromatherapy. The Wilcoxon signed-rank test & Mann-Whitney test is used to examine the data in order to determine the significance of the comparison between two sets of correlated data using ratio-shaped data. Results & Analysis: With a p-value of 0.016, progressive muscle relaxation is helpful in reducing blood sugar levels. Likewise, using lemons in aromatherapy decreases blood sugar levels (p-value = 0.028). However, the comparison results show that, with a p-value of 0.012, progressive muscular relaxation works better than lemon aromatherapy. Discussion: Both interventions involve relaxation techniques that block stress input and promote physiological calm in order to slow down heartbeats and boost the release of insulin hormones into the bloodstream, which is required for managing blood sugar. It is suggested that future research combine the two medicines to obtain more comprehensive findings.

Abstract

The application of tariff applied in handling BPJS patients references the INA- CBGs and the payment model used by BPJS Kesehatan to replace the total bill by the hospital. Hospitals receive payments based on the INA- CBGs rate, which is the average cost spent by a group of diagnoses. It is expected to improve the quality and efficiency of hospitals. The benefit of implementing INA -CBGs in JKN is the tariffs in the form of packages cover all components of hospital costs. Cost efficiency efforts must be made. That is no deficit from the applicable INA-CBGS tariff. Quality and cost control efforts are very important in the implementation of ENT specialist poly services. This study aims to analyze the demographic characteristics of the patient, the patient's diagnosis, the difference in rates between INA CBGS payments and RSIS rates, the composition of financing and the Unit Cost of ENT Polyclinics. The research type is quantitative observational with cross-sectional design. The research location is at the Surabaya Islamic Hospital with BPJS TXT data, processing in January-December 2019. The results showed, the demographic characteristics of most patients were > 50 years old, and most of them were diagnosed with minor chronic diseases. The difference between Ina-CBGS payments and RSIS rates is Rp. 60,174 which means that each patient contributes a profit of Rp. 60,174. The composition of the financing for implementation of the ENT Polyclinic is the cost of consulting services. The unit cost of ENT Polyclinic patients is Rp. 132,774 per patient.
