Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan akulturasi budaya Minangkabau dengan transmigran Jawa dalam perkawinan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian etnografi yang akan mendeskripsikan dan menguraikan proses akulturasi budaya perkawinan secara kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan heuristik, kritik sumber, sintesis, dan interpretasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa akulturasi budaya perkawinan suku Minangkabau dengan transmigrasi Jawa di Kabupaten Solok Selatan-Sumatera Barat telah terlaksana dengan baik. Selain itu, akulturasi dalam perkawinan diterapkan dari penerapan adat dalam perkawinan dengan menggunakan adat campuran, sedangkan dalam resepsi perkawinan kedua mempelai juga mengenakan pakaian adat Minangkabau dan Jawa. Kata Kunci akulturasi, budaya, pernikahan, transmigrasi, Sumatera Barat Abstract This research is aimed to describe the acculturation of Minangkabau culture with Javanese transmigrants in marriage. This research was an ethnography research that would be described and elaborated the process of acculturation of marriage culture qualitatively. Data collection techniques are carried out by heuristics, source criticism, synthesis, and interpretation. The results showed that the acculturation marriage culture of Minangkabau with Javanese transmigration in South Solok Regency-West Sumatra was done well. Besides, the acculturation in marriage applied from the application of customs in marriage using mixed customs, while in wedding receptions, the bride and groom wear traditional clothes of Minangkabau and Javanese as well. Abstract

The study aims to identify the manifestation of Character Based Education Pandemic in internationalization Dynamics. It also explore concept of character as a part of pandemic process throughout human life and investigate on how pandemic plays role in character. In order to meet the purpose of the research, the qualitative approached, as it is in line with this particular study which is descriptive in nature. In accordance with many of the previous theories regarding the character based education in pandemic, it is found that the application of Character Based Education Pandemic of internationalization dynamics to be a better character. Improvement and successful program indirectly derived from manifestation of the characteristics of Character Based Education Pandemic namely faith in oneself, the aspiration towards excellence, the tenacity to challenge themselves, the engagement of support from others, and the continuous deliberate practice. Through the act of character based education, internationalization dynamics will evolve toward the betterment and so will the organization.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of discovery learning models with audio-visual media on student learning outcomes and to examine differences in learning outcomes between students with high self-confidence compared to students with low self-confidence. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental involving 5th-grade elementary school students in the Natural Sciences subject. The results showed that the discovery learning model with audio-visual and games had a significant difference in overall science learning outcomes. There is a difference in student science learning outcomes between students with high self-confidence and students with low self-confidence.

Abstract

The curriculum that established at Islamic Boarding Schools was prepared by combining religious education as a provision of religious knowledge and general knowledge. The purpose of this assistance was to cultivate pineapple plants to increase the economic value of Islamic boarding schools. Researchers used Community Based Research (CBR). This activity was carried out at Miftahul Jannah Islamic Boarding School, Kalicinta, North Kotabumi, North Lampung. The sample was 30 participants. The method used in carrying out the activities involve conducting interviews with the administrators of the Miftahul Jannah Islamic Boarding School, North Kotabumi, North Lampung. The activities were conducting counseling and training on the optimization of land, distribution and selection of pineapple seeds and manure, implementation of yard land optimization activities, and monitoring and evaluation of land optimization activities. This finding helped Islamic boarding schools in optimizing empty yards into productive land. Hence, in the future it could help increase the economic value or income of the boarding school, so that it makes economic independence for Islamic boarding schools. Abstract

Academic supervision of the principal is an activity of coaching, observing, and assessing teacher performance in the teaching and learning process. This study aims to determine the academic supervision activities carried out by the principal of Al-Himmah Muara Tebo Kindergarten (TK) in improving the quality of teaching teachers. This research uses a qualitative approach involving the principal and 3 teachers. Data were collected through observation and interviews. The data were analyzed descriptively, that is, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that supervision has been carried out one to two times a year, and has been met the regulations. It improves the quality of teacher competencies, performance, and skills – which is seen in terms of learning processes and outcomes.

Abstract

Students’ problems in using English to communicate need to be handled seriously. Teaching English is no more teaching the knowledge of English only but also the use of context. This library research elaborates on the importance of pragmatics for EFL students to improve their communication skills in various contexts of interaction and to strengthen the importance of pragmatic competence for non-native English teachers in teaching natural English communication. Documentation is the collecting technique using a checklist and fieldnote instruments. The primary sources are theories about pragmatics and teaching communication from books and published journals. In order to obtain correct and precise results in analyzing data, a content analysis technique is used. The data analysis procedure covers determining the design, which is linkage analysis, finding main data, and theories about pragmatics from books, then finding contextual knowledge from published research related to pragmatics and teaching English communication, and finally, writing and interpreting the linkage to describe the results. The findings show that pragmatics should not limitedly act as classroom instructions but as competence to be constantly developed and practised for students or teachers. Pragmatics should be seen from its whole aspect in order to communicate naturally and contextually. It can also be concluded that opportunities for pragmatic practice should be provided to achieve the goal of teaching English, that is, the ability to use English in various contexts of interaction.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan Kepemimpinan merupakan sikap yang perlu dimiliki seorang pemimpin dalam membuat rencana, berpikir dan bertanggung jawab untuk dirinya maupun orang lain. Anak yang mempunyai sikap kepemimpinan tentunya pasti terbentuk karakter yang baik. Oleh karena itu jiwa kepemimpinan perlu dibentuk dan dibangun sejak dini. Terampilan memimpin pada anak perlu diterapkan sejak dini sebagai landasan yang kuat untuk mewujudkan impian dan cita-citanya. Dengan Jiwa kepemimpinan pada anak dapat melatih rasa tanggung jawab, disiplin, dan ketekunan yang bermanfaat untuk masa depan anak. Pengabdian Kepada masyarakat ini melakukan sosialisasi tentang “ Pentingnya menumbuhkan sikap kepemimpinan anak’’ kepada warga khususnya anak-anak di lingkungan RT 04 RW, mengingat masih kurang terbentuknya sikap kepemimpinan dikhalangan anak. Penyuluhan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada anak mengenai pentingnya sikap kepemimpinan, memotivasi siswa untuk melakukan atau menerapkan sikap kepemimpinan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari serta hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat masyarakat ini membuat anak menerapkan sikap kepemimpinan yang berkelanjutan sampai dia dewasa.

Abstract

The development dimension refers to managerial concept of education strategies. Analysis on the implementation of strategic management at school was conducted using SWOT analysis. This research aims to determine the education strategic management model applied at School Based Pesantren in Aceh Province. This research used qualitative approach with survey method and analytic study. The results show that the organizational development begins with the high ideals of teachers abilitty that supported by institutional independence in school management. The finding revealed that the effectiveness of school development refers to the instilling of the values ​​of pesantren, namely the spirit of sincerity; hence the teachers did not depend on school for their lives. As for the stabilization of the ubudiyyah of the students, it helps in increasing academic achievement. Keywords: Dimensional Analysis, Islamic Based-School, Design Development Pesantren

Abstract

The use of virtual reality (VR) technology in Islamic Religious Education learning in schools has become an interesting topic to improve studentsÔÇÖ understanding of religious concepts. This study explores the impact of virtual reality (VR) technology in simulating religious pilgrimage on studentsÔÇÖ understanding of religious concepts and teachersÔÇÖ perceptions. The research conducted used a case study design with a qualitative approach. The research setting was purposively selected at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) 1 Kota Bengkulu. The subjects in this study were Islamic Religious Education teachers and students. The data in this study were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity testing in this study was carried out using the triangulation test method. Data analysis in this study adopted a descriptive approach involving several stages, namely data condensation, data presentation, and data conclusion drawing and verification. The results showed: that first, there was a positive acceptance from students towards using Virtual Reality (VR) technology in simulating religious pilgrimage, with many students feeling an enchanting and immersive experience. Second, VR plays a significant role in improving studentsÔÇÖ understanding of religious concepts, especially in understanding the historical context and spiritual meaning of holy places. Third, Islamic religious education teachers have a positive perception of the use of VR in learning. The teachers see VR as a tool for increasing student engagement and expanding the learning experience.

Abstract

Abstract: Al Quran Hadis teachers’ strategy in improving the students’ skill in memorizing Juz Amma.This research is motivated by education at this time facing and using sophisticated technology. This greatly affects the growth of learners in the learning process, especially in memorizing the juz Amma in the holy Quran. This study aims to analyze: 1) What strategies that teachers use in improving learners' ability to memorize Juz' Amma. 2) what strategies are used by teachers Alquran Hadith In maintaining the memorization of learners. This research is descriptive qualitative, which is to accurately explain the data found in the field that is then analyzed critically and described narratively, by looking for objects as they are originally founded. Data sources are obtained from interviews, field observations, documentation, archives, and other official documents. The results show that the strategies used are Wahdah (reciting the Quran) and Jama' (Repeating Readings). The strategy of the teacher of Alquran hadith in maintaining memorization in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muthi'ul Haady Bogo Rejo is through reading the surah that has been deposited when performing prayers, then by connecting the verses done with the teacher first read a verse or several verses and students imitate it. The last strategy to keep memorization is by helping friends in learning by heart.Abstrak: Strategi Guru Alquran Hadis Dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Siswa Menghafal Juz Amma.Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pendidikan pada saat ini yang berlangsung dengan penggunaan teknologi yang canggih. Hal demikian sangat mempengaruhi pertumbuhan peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran khususnya dalam menghafal juz Amma. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis: 1) Strategi apa yang digunakan guru dalam meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik dalam menghafal Juz Amma. 2) strategi apa yang digunakan oleh guru Alquran Hadis dalam menjaga hafalan peserta didik. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif yaitu menjelaskan data-data secara akurat yang ditemukan dilapangan yang selanjutnya di analisis secara kritis dan di deskripsikan secara naratif. Sumber data diperoleh dari hasil wawancara, observasi lapangan, dokumentasi, dan dokumen resmi lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang digunakan ialah Wahdah yaitu memperbanyak bacaan Alquran dan Jama’ yaitu mengulang bacaan. Strategi guru Alquran hadis dalam menjaga hafalan di Madrsah Ibtidaiyah Muthi’ul Haady Bogo Rejo ialah dengan cara menganjurkan siswa membaca surah yang sudah disetorkan ketika melaksanakan shalat, kemudian dengan cara menyambung ayat yang dilakukan dengan guru terlebih dahulu membacakan satu ayat atau beberapa ayat dan siswa menirukannya. Adapun strategi yang terakhir agar hafalan tetap terjaga yaitu dengan cara membantu teman menghafal.
