Abstract

Universitas Ciputra (UC) Surabaya sedang gencar dalam mengimplementasikan Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), khususnya pada Partnerships for the Goals. Demi tercapainya Universitas yang berdampak bagi lingkungannya, maka diadakan lomba showcase menggunakan bahan daur ulang yang 3R (Reuse, Reduce, Recycle). Lomba showcase diutamakan pada negara-negara yang menjadi partner kerja sama internasional UC yaitu Australia, Malaysia, India, Perancis, Thailand, dan China. Lomba ini diikuti oleh seluruh sivitas akademika UC. Hasilnya adalah pengetahuan tentang SDGs yang sudah dilakukan di negara-negara tersebut dapat menjadi tolok ukur bagi pengajar dan staf Universitas Ciputra Surabaya dalam mengimplementasikan SDGs khususnya di lingkungan sekitar kampus.

Abstract

Noor is a clothing boutique that sells various Muslim and non-Muslim cloth with affordable price and good quality. Noor boutique is located in Bangkalan city. Noor sells and marketing through online by using Instagram, offline by opening boutique in Bangkalan city, and also through word of mouth. Noor boutique in Bangkalan city has strategic location, safe and spacious parking area. This research is done to find out the effect of Instagram social media marketing, word of mouth, and location on purchase decision of Noor fashion consumers. Data in this research amounts 168 respondents in which majority age is 18-24 years old. The population that is used is consumers who have ever shopped at Noor boutique. The sample that is chosen with non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling method with criteria age at least 18 years old. Data that is used in this research through questionnaire is distributed online and is processed using multiple regression analysis of SPSS 25. The results of this research shows that Instagram social media marketing, word of mouth, and location affect positive on purchase decision of Noor fashion consumer.

Abstract

This study investigates the rapid growth of digital entrepreneurship research from 2019 to 2024, driven by technological advancements and the increasing relevance of digital platforms. Using bibliometric analysis, the study maps the intellectual landscape of the field by identifying key themes, leading authors, influential journals, and productive institutions. The findings reveal three major thematic clusters: Business Transformation, Digital Innovation, and Inclusive Entrepreneurship, emphasizing the impact of digital technologies on business models, innovation, and economic inclusion. The role of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) is highlighted as increasingly central in the global digital ecosystem. A steady increase in publications and citations is observed, with journals such as Technological Forecasting and Social Change and Journal of Business Research shaping the discourse. The study recommends future research to focus on digital platforms, business model innovation, and supportive policy and infrastructure, underscoring the transformative potential of digital entrepreneurship in fostering inclusive and sustainable development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan dan pengembangan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada PT. Ocean Trading Indonesia. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif  dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner. Teknik penarikan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling dan penentuan jumlah sampel menggunakan formula Slovin sehingga ditetapkan sebanyak 110 responden. Penelitian menggunakan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis statistik yang terdiri dari uji validitas, uji realibilitas, regresi linier berganda, koefisien determinasi (R2), uji T, dan uji F dengan bantuan software statistik SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa pelatihan berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan, yang dapat dilihat dari nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Pengembangan berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan , yang dapat dilihat dari nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Selain itu, pelatihan dan pengembangan secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan, yang dapat dilihat dari nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Implikasi penelitian dengan menerapkan pelatihan dan pengembangan dalam perusahaan dapat meningkatkan kinerja karyawan menjadi lebih baik.

Abstract

This is a case study that aims at analyzing students' English proficiency as reflected in students' TOEFL-Like scores at Universitas Sains Alqur'an Central Java in Wonosobo, Indonesia particularly years 2017, 2018, and 2019. The study focuses on students' achievement of English proficiency embedded in TOEFL-Like scores which consist of three sections, namely Listening, Structure and Written Expression, and comprehension of Reading. Considering the huge number of the data (2811 participants), to do the research, the data are conducted statistically using the SPSS application. In detail, the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to find mean (to know students proficiency achievement), minimum, maximum and standard deviation values (to know the variance of students' English proficiency levels). Categorization of the proficiency levels is referred to Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) standard. The study revealed that structure and written expression is the most difficult test faced then consecutively reading and listening. Then, the lowest and the highest scores were 217 and 567 with a standard deviation 31, 4. Furthermore, the mean of the total TOEFL-Like score achieved was 369, 09. Therefore, the students were mostly categorized as basic users (A2). The study suggests that an appropriate module can be considered to help the students to reach better proficiency, especially in a matter of structure and written expression section.

Abstract

TikTok has become one of the most popular informative social media applications in the digital era, encompassing various aspects of life, including health. Edsa Estella, a content creator on TikTok, provides her audience with educational and inspiring content about healthy lifestyles. This study employs a qualitative method to analyze data, with data collection techniques conducted through observation of the TikTok account @edsaestella and in-depth interviews. The findings reveal that Edsa’s content covers various aspects of a healthy lifestyle, including exercise, nutrition, diet, and mental health, emphasizing the importance of self-love. Her content is dominated by motivational themes that aim to encourage a healthy lifestyle, presenting information in an engaging and easily digestible manner for her audience. Through an inspiring and motivational approach, Edsa Estella’s content successfully encourages her audience to adopt healthy lifestyles by utilizing compelling storytelling, appealing visuals, and trending music. The @edsaestella account also optimizes factors that enhance a strong connection with its audience. This study aims to provide deeper insights into the role of content creators as information disseminators, social media as a medium for distribution, and healthy living as an increasingly popular positive trend. TikTok menjadi salah satu aplikasi media sosial informatif terpopuler di era digital ini, yang berisikan berbagai macam aspek kehidupan, termasuk kesehatan. Edsa Estella, seorang kreator konten di TikTok, menyajikan informasi mengenai gaya hidup sehat melalui konten yang mengedukasi dan menginspirasi kepada audiensnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk menganalisis data dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan melalui observasi terhadap akun TikTok @edsaestella dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konten yang diproduksi Edsa mencakup berbagai aspek gaya hidup sehat, mulai dari olahraga, nutrisi, dan pola makan, hingga kesehatan mental yang menggarisbawahi pentingnya mencintai diri sendiri (self-love). Edsa mendominasi tema kontennya dengan motivasi untuk menjalani hidup sehat, menghadirkan informasi yang menarik dan mudah dipahami oleh audiensnya. Melalui pendekatan yang inspiratif dan penuh motivasi, konten yang dibuat Edsa Estella mampu menginspirasi audiens untuk menjalani gaya hidup sehat dengan memperhatikan daya tarik bercerita, visual, dan penggunaan tren musik. Akun @edsaestella juga mengoptimalkanm faktor yang dapat mendukung hubungan kuat dengan audiensnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan wawasan lebih lanjut mengenai peran konten kreator sebagai penyampai informasi, media sosial sebagai sarana penyebaran, dan gaya hidup sehat sebagai tren positif yang semakin berkembang.
