Abstract

Tomatoes are a horticultural commodity that is widely consumed by the public, so they need to be increased using organic fertilizer plus Trichoderma. This research aims to determine the effect of organic fertilizer plus on increasing the growth and production of tomato plants. This study used a randomized block design with treatments namely no organic fertilizer plus (A0), organic fertilizer plus 3 t.ha-1 (A1), 6 t.ha-1 (A2), 9 t.ha-1 (A3), 12 t.ha-1 (A4), and 15 t.ha-1 (A5). The variables observed were plant height, number of leaves, number of branches, number of flowers forming fruit, number of flowers, number of fruit, fruit weight, fruit diameter and productivity. The observational data is analyzed for variance and data that shows a real effect will be further tested using Duncan's Multiple Range Test. The results of the study showed that organic fertilizer plus treatment had an effect on the growth of tomato plants. The highest variables of plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter and number of branches were obtained in the organic fertilizer plus 15 t.ha-1 (P5) treatment which was not significantly different from the 12 t.ha-1 (P4), 9 t.ha-1 (P3), 6 t.ha-1 (P2), 3 t.ha-1 (P1), but significantly different from the treatment without organic fertilizer plus (P0).

Abstract

Hama dan penyakit tanaman merupakan faktor pembatas dalam budidaya tanaman untuk mencapai produksi yang optimal. Hama dan penyakit tanaman dapat dikendalikan menggunakan pestisida yang berbahan dasar tanaman atau disebut dengan pestisida nabati. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tumbuhan yang berpotensi sebagai pestisida nabati di Kampung Kuper Distrik Semangga. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi serta determinasi berdasarkan studi pustaka. Data hasil pengamatan akan  dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan menjelaskan hasil observasi tanaman yang berpotensi sebagai pestisida nabati berdasarkan studi literatur. Tumbuhan yang didokumentasikan dilengkapi dengan nama ilmiah (botani), nama lokal, famili, genus, spesies, bagian tanaman yang dimanfaatkan sebagai pestisida nabati dan habitatnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 14 jenis tumbuhan ditemukan yang berpotensi sebagai pestisida nabati. Tumbuhan yang ditemukan yaitu kelor, maja, beluntas, serai, kirinyuh, srikaya, sirsak, pinang, sirih, jeruk, jahe, lengkuas, jeruk nipis, dan pepaya. Berdasarkan studi literatur secara umum tanaman yang ditemukan di Kampung Kuper mengandung flavonoid, terpenoid, alkaloid dan saponin. Senyawa-senyawa ini berperan sebagai insektisida, anti bakteri dan jamur yang dapat mengendalikan hama dan penyakit pada tanaman budidaya.

Abstract

Sitem pengeringan gabah merupakan sebuah proses yanga dilakukan untuk menurunkan kadar air gabah hingga pada kondisi tertentu, yang akan membuat gabah tersebut dapat bertahan lebih lama dalam penyimpanan karena berkurangnya kandungan kadar air. Sistem pengering gabah yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah berbasis Hibrid antara Solar Cell dan Listrik PLN. Agar pengering ini dapat bekerja pada malam hari, maka pengering gabah ini akan otomatis menggunakan sumber listrik PLN yang terdapat pada rumah. Sedangkan untuk pengeringan gabah di siang hari menggunakan sumber tenaga sinar matahari melalui Solar Cell. Sistem pengering ini merupakan salah satu energi terbarukan dan ramah lingkungan, dimana system pengeringan tidak menggunakan kayu bakar yang pada umumnya bayak di gunakan. Pengering ini dilengkapi dengan sistem monitoring suhu dan pengontrolan tegangan. Hasil monitoring suhu dan sensor tegangan untuk mengontrol panas. Pengering ini mampu mengeringkan gabah hingga mencapai kadar air 14,90% dari kadar air awal 48,46%. Proses pengeringan tersebut berlangsung selama kurang lebih 12 jam. Suhu rata-rata yang dihasilkan sistem pengering ini selama proses pengeringan adalah 35-40 °C.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the income of partner broilers in the study area. This research was conducted in Merauke District. The location selection was carried out purposively. The time of the research was conducted from May to November 2020. Sampling in this study used the census method. Respondents in this study were 13 partner broiler breeders. The analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression. The results show that the coefficient of determination (R2) obtained is 0.995, indicating that broiler income (Y) can be explained by the independent variable X. Partially or the t test shows that the cost of seeds, feed costs and labor affects income, while partially the cost of medicine - medicine does not affect income.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to study the Capacity to Increase the Population of Bali Cattle in Mowila District, South Konawe Regency. The data used in this study is divided into two, namely, primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from surveys and direct interviews with respondents. Meanwhile, secondary data was obtained from related agencies such as the Livestock Service Office, Agriculture Service Office and BPS Konawe Selatan Regency. The variable measured is the Capacity for Increasing the Population of Ruminant Livestock which is analyzed using the calculation of the Capacity for Increasing the Population of Ruminant Livestock. Respondents are Balinese cattle breeders who have 2 or more cattle. The sample was selected from the population by a simple random method, from 10 determined villages/kelurahan, respondents were selected using the Slovin formula with the number of farmer households (RTP) 1,009 and the results obtained were 91 people which were then adjusted by the researchers to 100 people. The results of the research that have been carried out show that Mowila District, Konawe Selatan Regency has the potential to add Bali cattle. This is supported by the availability of human resources, the experience of farmers, the scale of ownership that can be increased, the average farmer already has education and the availability of land.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the feasibility of beef cattle farming in the Semangga District, Merauke Regency. The selection of the area was carried out purposively with the consideration that Semangga District is the highest center for beef cattle production in Merauke Regency. The sample withdrawal method uses the Slovin Formula. The sample in the study amounted to 67 samples from a population of 200. Data collection was carried out through observations, interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis method uses qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the research show that the total production cost of beef cattle farming at the research location is IDR105.815,287-/year with an average receipt of IDR117.901,036-/year and income IDR12.085,749-/Year The results of the R/C Ratio analysis show a value of 1.11, meaning that the beef cattle business is feasible to develop.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to relate technical, social, economic, financial and management factors to the prospects for developing integrated beef cattle and cashew farming in Muna Regency. This research was conducted in Muna Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province. The location was determined purposively with the consideration that Muna Regency is one of the areas that has the largest cattle population and has cashew plantation land. The population in this research was 100. The data collected in this research were primary data and secondary data. The data analysis used is Pearson Correlation analysis at α = 0.05. The research results showed that the technical aspect had a correlation coefficient of 0.569 with a confidence level of 99%. Economic aspect 0.504 with a confidence level of 99%. Social and financial aspects are 0.278 and 0.352 respectively with a confidence level of 95% and 99%. Management aspect 0.587 with a confidence level of 99%.

Abstract

Produksi tanaman tomat dipengaruhi oleh faktor lingkungan salah satunya kesuburan tanah. Tanah dengan kondisi yang subur dapat menghasilkan produksi yang optimal begitu juga sebaliknya tanah dengan kesuburan tanah rendah dapat menghasilkan produksi yang rendah pula. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji respon komponen produksi tanaman tomat yang diberi perlakuan pupuk organik plus. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Agroteknologi dan Screen House Program Studi Agroteknologi pada bulan Agustus-November 2023.   Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) dengan perlakuan pupuk organik plus. Perlakuan terdiri dari 6 taraf yakni tanpa pupuk organik plus (P0), pupuk organik plus 3 t.ha-1 (P1), 6 t.ha-1  (P2), 9 t.ha-1  (P3), 12 t.ha-1  (P4),  dan 15 t.ha-1  (P5). Variabel yang diamati adalah umur panen, jumlah buah, berat buah, diameter buah, dan produktivitas.  Data pengamatan yang diperoleh dari setiap variabel dianalisis ragam dan hasil analisis yang menunjukkan pengaruh nyata atau sangat nyata dilanjutkan dengan Uji Jarak Berganda Duncan (UJBD) pada taraf α0.05.  Hasil  penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pupuk organik plus dapat meningkatkan komponen produksi tanaman tomat yakni umur panen, jumlah buah, berat buah, diameter buah, dan produktivitas. Perlakuan terbaik diperoleh pada pupuk organik plus dosis 15  t.ha dibandingkan dengan perlakuan lainnya terutama tanpa perlakuan pupuk organik plus (kontrol). Abstract

Bakso merupakan makanan khas Indonesia yang banyak digemari Masyarakat. Bahan tambahan bakso dapat berupa daging dan ikan. Salah satu pengolahan bakso sagu yang didampingi kepada Masyarakat lokal adalah ikan gastor, karena ikan gastor merupakan ikan rawa yang banyak d temui di Kabupaten Merauke khususnya Kampung Zanegi, Kampung Tambat dan Kampung Kaliki. Dengan adanya pendampingan ini, Masyarakat yang ada di ketiga kampung tersebut dapat mengaplikasikannya untuk menambah pendapatan keluarga karena bahan-bahan yang digunakan banyak tersedia di Kampung tersebut.

Abstract

Andaito Village is a village in the Muting District, Merauke Regency, South Papua Province. In this village, the majority of the population earn their living as farmers. The agricultural business being developed is tubers which are then processed into chips on a home industrial scale. The chips business was developed by housewives, although the processing is still traditional, relying on cassava choppers made of wood. One of the reasons is that people have minimal business capital and knowledge of innovation. Thus, through this service activity, the implementing team will provide solutions to problems faced by partners both in terms of technology, business management and marketing of results. This service activity is carried out using an individual counseling method, namely visiting the homes of business owners to provide understanding and knowledge related to technological innovation and product marketing. The objectives of implementing this program are (a) Increasing knowledge about SME businesses, (b) Increasing knowledge of housewives about effective marketing systems, (c) Increasing skills regarding traditional processing systems to modern ones. The output targets adapted to this activity plan include physical and non-physical products, namely publication of ISSN journals, print/online media publications, increasing business competitiveness, application of mechanization science and technology, improving the economy, improving values in society, increasing discipline and participation.
