Abstract

This study aims to find out if the application of PBL learning model is effective to students' math learning results, which involved 40 students at SMAN 17 Gowa in Gowa district. This type of research is Quasi Experimental Design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design design. The research instruments used are tests, analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with t-tests. The results of this study showed that there are differences in average math learning outcomes of students who do not use the learning model and who use the PBL model. Implementation of PBL learning model effectively on students' math learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran Mathsc berbasis android pada materi barisan dan deret aritmatika yang valid, praktis, dan efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar matematis siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengambangan. Adapun model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah 4D (Define, Design, Development, Dissemination). Pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis android ini menggunakan aplikasi App iInventor 2. Adapun subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VII MTs Madani Alauddin Pao-Pao. Media pembelajaran ini ditujukan khusus untuk pelajar tingkat Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP)/Sederajat. Uji coba aplikasi ini sebanyak dua kali, yaitu uji coba skala kecil dengan melibatkan 6 orang siswa dan uji coba skala besar dengan melibatkan seluruh siswa kelas VII dalam satu kelas. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah tes hasil belajar angket respons siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian validator diperoleh persentase kevalidan rata-rata sebesar 3,25 (valid). Berdasarkan penilaian oleh guru diperoleh penilaian sebesar 3,61 (praktis) dan penilaian siswa sebesar 3,47 (praktis). Sementara itu, berdasarkan hasil tes belajar matematika siswa diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 80,12 yang berarti bahwa nilai tersebut telah memenuhi nilai KKM. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk yang dihasilkan sudah layak digunakan karena telah memenuhi nilai kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan.

Abstract

This study aims to produce mathematics worksheets for high school students that are in accordance with the characteristics of students and meet valid and practical criteria. This worksheet is expected to be used as one of the learning media for students to develop their special abilities in mathematics. This research is a research and development using the Instructional Development Model (MPI). The product developed in this study is a Think Talk Write (TTW)-based math worksheet. The data collection instrument used is a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is the data analyzed using data analysis techniques of validity and practicality. The results showed that the TTW-based math worksheets that met the criteria were valid and practical. So it is recommended for further research in order to continue by reviewing its effectiveness in improving students' mathematical problem solving abilities.

Abstract

Abstract:Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LPKD) can help students understand the concept of material, both theoretically and in real events that often occur in everyday life. This study tries to determine the development process and quality of LKPD to improve students' understanding the concepts of algebra. The development research used refers to the Plomps model, which includes 4 phases: (a) the initial investigation, (b) the design, (c) the realization, and (d) the test, evaluation, and revision. The product assessment instrument used was the LKPD validation sheet, the LKPD observance sheet, student and teacher response questionnaires, student and teacher activity observation sheets, and tests of students' ability to understand mathematical concepts. The LKPD that was designed and tested on grade VII students at one of the schools in Soppeng had met the criteria of being valid, effective, and practical.Abstrak:Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LPKD) berbasis masalah dapat membantu peserta didik memahami konsep materi, baik secara teori maupun dalam peristiwa nyata yang sering terjadi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini mencoba mengetahui proses pengembangan dan kualitas LKPD matematika berbasis masalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep aljabar peserta didik. Penelitian pengembangan yang digunakan mengacu pada model pengembangan Plomp, yang meliputi 4 fase, yaitu: (a) fase investigasi awal, (b) fase desain, (c) fase realisasi, dan (d) fase tes, evaluasi, dan revisi. Instrumen penilaian produk yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi LKPD, lembar pengamatan keterlaksaan LKPD, angket respon peserta didik dan guru, lembar pengamatan aktivitas peserta didik dan guru, dan tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika peserta didik. LKPD yang didesain dan diujicobakan kepada siswa kelas VII di salah satu sekolah di Soppeng telah memenuhi kriteria valid, efektif dan praktis.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of implementing joyful learninglearning strategies on student learning outcomes in third grade mathematics at SDInpres 130 Tarowang, Jeneponto Regency. The type of research used in this study is thetype of research One Group pretest-posttest. Data collection in this study using tests andobservations. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques and inferentialstatistics. The results of the analysis show that the application of the joyful learningstrategy has an effect on mathematics learning outcomes for third grade students of SDInpres 130 Tarowang, Jeneponto Regency. In addition, learning mathematics with ajoyful learning strategy can improve the quality of mathematics learning, namelyincreasing the comfort of students during learning, increasing student activity andincreasing interest in participating in mathematics learning.

Abstract

This study discusses the quality of Mathematics Textbooks for Class XI Curriculum 2013 Revised 2017 Edition based on a scientific approach. This study aims to find out how the quality of the mathematics textbook is based on indicators in a scientific approach which include: (1) observing, (2) asking questions, (3) digging for information, (4) associating/reasoning and (5) communicating. This research is a quantitative descriptive study that displays the results of the data as they are without any manipulation or other treatment. The procedure in this study consisted of: (1) the preparation stage, by selecting the textbook to be analyzed in this case the researcher took the 2013 Revised 2017 Edition of the Mathematics Textbook of the Ministry of Education and Culture, (2) then collected data using document analysis techniques and carried out literature study using pre-determined instruments, to find out how the quality of the mathematics textbook is based on a scientific approach, (3) drawing conclusions from the data that has been obtained. Chapter I is 60%, Chapter II is 70%, Chapter III is 56%, and Chapter IV is 73%. As for the total number of chapters in the mathematics textbook of SMK class XI semester I, the percentage of quality textbooks based on the scientific approach is 64.75%. So, it can be concluded that the quality of mathematics textbooks for class XI curriculum 2013 based on the scientific approach is included in the "enough" category with the implementation of indicators in the scientific approach.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the description of students' creativity, student discipline, completeness of school infrastructure and the relationship between student creativity, student discipline and completeness of school infrastructure together with physics learning outcomes of students in class XI MIPA SMAN throughout the Regency. Jeneponto. This type of research is a correlation or relationship research that is Ex Post Facto. The research population is 14 schools. The sample in this study was Class XI MIPA students from 4 schools with cluster random sampling technique. Data was collected by means of questionnaires, interviews, observation sheets and documentation. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive relationship between students' creativity, student discipline and the completeness of school infrastructure together with the physics learning outcomes of students in class XI MIPA SMAN throughout Jeneponto Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of students' digital literacy and teacher creativity on the achievement of learning mathematics class VIII Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Gowa. This research approach uses a quantitative approach with an ex-post-facto type of research. The population in this study was class VIII MTsN Gowa students which amounted to 200 students and a sample of 67 students. Based on the results of hypothesis testing with a significance level of 5% obtained results that showed that (1) The digital literacy ability of students had a positive effect on the mathematics learning achievement of class VIII MTsN Gowa students by 12.6%, (2) Teacher creativity has a positive effect on the mathematics learning achievement of class VIII MTsN Gowa students by 10.5%, (3) The digital literacy ability of students and teacher creativity have a positive effect on the achievement of learning mathematics for class VIII MTsN Gowa students by 17.7%. Thus, if the digital literacy skills of students and teacher creativity increase, then the achievement of learning mathematics for class VIII students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Gowa will also increase.

Abstract

Rendahnya prestasi belajar menandakan bahwa proses pembelajaran secara konvensional masih belum bisa memberikan hasil yang optimal. Prestasi belajar dipengaruhi oleh motivasi, sikap, iklim, dan minat belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran tertentu. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar, sikap belajar, iklim belajar, terhadap minat dan prestasi belajar matematika peserta didik SMP/MTs pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasional dengan desain penelitian, yaitu model analisis jalur (path analysis). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengukur motivasi, sikap, iklim, dan minat belajar adalah angket dengan jawaban tertutup. Sementara prestasi belajar matematika peserta didik dilihat berdasarkan nilai rapor peserta didik. Teknik analisis data statistika yang digunakan adalah statistika deskriptif dan statistika inferensial dengan analisis jalur (path analysis). Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar peserta didik memiliki motivasi belajar kategori sedang, sikap belajar kategori sedang, iklim belajar kategori tinggi, minat belajar kategori tinggi, dan prestasi belajar kategori tinggi. Hasil perhitungan uji linearitas menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh langsung antara prestasi dan motivasi belajar, sikap belajar, iklim belajar, dan minat belajar.Low learning achievement indicates that the conventional learning process is still not able to provide optimal results. Learning achievement is influenced by learners' motivation, attitudes, climate, and learning interests in a particular subject. This research was conducted to find out the influence of learning motivation, learning attitudes, learning climate, on the interests and achievements of learning mathematics of junior high school students/MTs during the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is correlational research with the design of the research, namely the path analysis model. The data collection technique that researchers used in this study was a questionnaire. Research instruments used to measure motivation, attitudes, climate, and learning interests are questionnaires with closed answers. While the achievement of learning mathematics learners are seen based on the value of the report card of learners. Statistical data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistics and inverse statistics with a path analysis approach. The results showed that most learners have moderate category learning motivation, moderate category learning attitudes, high category learning climate, high category learning interest, and high category learning achievement. The results of linearity test calculations show that there is a direct influence between learning achievement and motivation, learning attitudes, learning climate, and learning interests.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah melakukan sosialisasi terkait penerapan Metode Drill berbantuan Smart Mathematics Module secara efektif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika peserta didik. Kegiatan pengabdian ini diikuti oleh 30 peserta didik kelas XI IPA2 yang diajar menggunakan Metode Drill berbantuan Smart Mathematics Module. Sebanyak 29 peserta didik kelas XI IPA3 lainnya tidak diajar dengan Metode Drill berbantuan Smart Mathematics Module. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah berupa pretest-posttest dan lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, penerapan Metode Drill berbantuan Smart Mathematics Module efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik. Abstract The purpose of this service is to apply the Drill Method effectively that assisted by the Smart Mathematics Module towards the students' mathematical problem-solving abilities through socialization activities. This service was attended by 30 students of class XI IPA2 who were taught using the Drill Method assisted by the Smart Mathematics Module. The other 29 students of class XI IPA3 were not taught using the Drill Method assisted by the Smart Mathematics Module. The instrument used was a test of students' problem-solving abilities, in the form of a pretest-posttest and an observation sheet. The analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Based on the analysis results, the application of the Drill Method with the Smart Mathematics Module is effective in improving students' mathematical problem-solving abilities.
