Abstract

Abstract – Students counseling grouping at “SMKN 1 Kediri “ is based on the school’sexperience in guiding and providing counselingto students  in the past. The form of counselingassistance provided is learning, subjects aresocial assistance, career guidance, mentoringpersonality, spirituality, and special assistance.Naive Bayes Classifier method can be used togroup the data of a student in a group counselingclass. Nearest Neighbor method can be used as amethod of comparison of the classificationprocess. Abstract

Abstrak – Klasifikasi kelompok penjaminan mutu, menitik beratkan pada pendampingan tim penjaminan mutu yang harus dilaksanakan pada masing-masing devisi pada perusahaan XYZ. Klasifikasi ini diharapkan dapat membantu tim penjaminan mutu , untuk menindak lanjuti karyawan yang membutuhkan pendampingan khusus dari tim penjamin mutu, sesuai dengan yang dibutuhkan oleh masing-masing karyawan dari setiap devisi. Adapun devisi yang dimaksud adalah pada Tukang Potong Rokok, Tukang Giling Rokok, Tukang Pres Putihan, Tukan Pres Abangan,Tukang Pres Rokok Akhir, Tukang Pres Kalengan, SKM Filter Rokok, Tukang Linting Klobot, dan Tukang Pres Klobot. Bentuk pendampingan yang dilakukan adalah pendampingan karyawan mengenai loyalitas kerja, Tanggung Jawab Kerja, Kepemimpinan Kerja dan Prestasi Kerja. Klasifikasi dikerjakan dengan Microsoft Excel yang selanjunya akan di gunakan Weka sebagai tool untuk mengklasifikasi kelompok. KNN dan J48 digunakan untuk membandingkan pengklasifikasian, sehingga akan di peroleh metode mana yang paling cocok digunakan untuk mengklasifikasikan kelompok penjaminan mutu. Abstract

This paper describes building a narrative event dataset for the entire set of 153 fairy tales written by Hans Christian Andersen as?a resource for literary analysis and computational research. The corpus is?built up through semi-automatic annotation for important narrative events: character actions, period transitions, causal communications, and story themes. Each event is augmented with? metadata such as event type, event participants, event temporality (order) and event thematic relevance. This computer-readable structured data is helpful for NLP applications like event detection and temporal reasoning. Still, it supports in-depth literary?studies of plot structures, moral themes and character archetypes in Andersen's stories. Linking the digital humanities with the domain of computational linguistics, the dataset can be jointly used in inter-disciplinary research, and has the potential to reveal new aspects of classical narrative forms and how these findings?and developments can be usefully integrated in AI-supported storytelling systems.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology has driven the transformation of learning systems, especially in vocational education. SMKN 3 Kota Kediri has developed an e-learning platform called SiCantik (Sistem Informasi Canggih Terintegrasi dan Kolaboratif) to support the online learning process. However, despite its potential, the platform faces several usability issues such as difficulties in navigating features and accessing learning content, which may hinder learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the usability level of the SiCantik website using the System Usability Scale (SUS) and the USE Questionnaire. A descriptive quantitative method was employed, and data were collected from 100 respondents through online questionnaires. Validity and reliability testing were conducted to ensure the accuracy of the instruments. The SUS results showed an average score of 61.8, which falls into the “Poor” category, indicating that the platform's usability is marginally acceptable. Meanwhile, the USE Questionnaire results produced an average usability percentage of 65.5%, which is categorized as “Feasible.” Among the four evaluated dimensions, Ease of Use had the highest score (68.5%), while Ease of Learning had the lowest (63.2%). These results imply that while users generally find the system usable, improvements are still needed, particularly in user guidance and system intuitiveness. This research provides valuable input for system developers and stakeholders to improve the user experience of educational platforms. Further research is recommended to evaluate the technical performance and long-term user engagement of the system.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL) merupakan kegiatan penting yang menjembatani teori akademik dengan praktik profesional. Kegiatan ini memberikan pengalaman kerja nyata dan menjadi wahana pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Tujuan: Tujuan utama kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pengalaman kerja nyata kepada mahasiswa Sistem Informasi, serta menganalisis dan memberikan rekomendasi terkait sistem informasi dan antarmuka pengguna (UI/UX) dari portal jurnal elektronik UM (https://journal2.um.ac.id/ ). Metode: Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL) di Unit Pelaksanaan Teknis (UPT) Publikasi Ilmiah Universitas Negeri Malang. Selama PKL, penulis terlibat dalam tahapan pengelolaan jurnal dan menganalisis website menggunakan metode Eight Golden Rules untuk mengevaluasi UI/UX. Hasil: Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penulis berhasil berkontribusi dalam proses teknis administrasi jurnal seperti pembuatan issue, pengisian metadata, penambahan contributor, pengunggahan galleys, dan publishing. Kesimpulan: Kegiatan PKL memberikan manfaat nyata bagi UPT Publika UM dalam bentuk bantuan teknis dan masukan perbaikan sistem.

Abstract

Event Extraction (EE) is a pivotal task for NLP, where important events in the narrative text need to be detected and recognized. We present an alternative method for extracting events from Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales, utilizing Few-Shot Learning with BERT (Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers) and RNN (Recurrent Neural Network) in this paper. We selected Andersen's fairy tales because they are characterized by rich narratives and symbolic language, which also often prevents automatic event extraction. To reduce reliance on labeled samples, we utilize the Few-Shot Learning method, which enables the model to learn from a small number of labeled event examples trivially. The BERT model is used to generate deep representations by modeling the context between words and sentences. RNN is essential to capture the sequence of events in the story, which determines the structure of the narrative. The findings demonstrate that the proposed framework significantly improves event extraction, with high values of evaluation metrics such as in accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. The proposed method is also effective in extracting non-explicit events while keeping the narrative context. Despite the challenges posed by metaphorical language and subjective events, this work demonstrates that Few-Shot Learning, BERT, and RNNs offer a promising solution to the task of event extraction from complex narratives.

Abstract

A canteen business on a campus or college is very profitable for entrepreneurs. Where the canteen serves a variety of food for sale. However, with the many menus provided, it has an effect on cost and labor. Because with the many menus provided, the seller must prepare all the menus, but for the menu, there are those that are sold a lot and some are only sold a few or a little so that the menu that is sold a little is wasted. For this reason, this research aims to help canteen sellers to be more efficient in serving menus that are most in demand by students and which are not in demand by students so that they do not suffer big losses. For this reason, in this study, a decision support system is applied using the Profile Matching method with five criteria used, namely selling price, production price, serving, taste and manufacturing time. For menu options consisting of instant noodles, pecel rice, vegetable rice, kremes chicken, kremes tempeh and soto. From the results of the research, the results of the food menu were obtained which became the main choice among the other alternatives offered. So that canteen sellers can prepare the menu that is most interested in cooking or provided more than the menu that is less in demand and cooked less. And the raw materials prepared are adjusted to the interest rating calculated using the profile matching method.

Abstract

Student graduation is a very important element for universities because it relates to college accreditation assessment. One of them is at the Faculty of Engineering Nurul Jadid University, which has problems completing the study period within a predetermined time. So that it can be detrimental because accreditation is less than optimal, and the number of active students makes it less ideal in teaching and learning activities. This study aimed to compare the level of accuracy using the C4.5 algorithm and Naïve Bayes method in predicting graduation on time. The C4.5 and Naïve Bayes algorithms are one of the methods in the algorithm for classifying. Tests were carried out using the C4.5 and Naïve Bayes algorithms using Google Colab with Python programming language, then validated using 10-fold cross-validation. The results of this study indicate that the Naïve Bayes method has a higher accuracy value with an accuracy rate of 96.12%, while the C4.5 algorithm method is 93.82%.

Abstract

Event extraction in classic literature and fairy tales remains highly challenging due to their non-linear plot structures, archaic linguistic expressions, and intricate character interactions, while advances in modern NLP still show limitations in capturing subtle narrative cues in historical texts. This study aims to address these gaps by developing an event extraction model tailored to the narrative characteristics of Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tales. We propose a BERT-enhanced Context-aware Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) that integrates an attention mechanism to overcome the limited contextual range of traditional CNNs. The model leverages BERT’s contextual embeddings enriched with an attention layer to detect event triggers, character relations, and narrative transitions across nonlinear storylines. A hybrid dataset was constructed through system-generated annotations refined via manual verification and combined with AN/an cartoon-based representations for model training and final testing. Experimental results show that the proposed model surpasses both the CNN-only baseline and a rule-based approach, achieving precision of 0.92, recall of 0.89, F1-score of 0.90, and accuracy of 0.91, outperforming the CNN baseline (0.85/0.82/0.83/0.84) and rule-based system (0.78/0.75/0.76/0.77). These findings highlight the effectiveness of context-aware representations for processing literary narratives and demonstrate interdisciplinary relevance to digital humanities and AI-based storytelling, with future extensions envisioned for multilingual settings and genre-specific adaptations.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan mengembangkan video dokumenter sebagai alat promosi bagi Desa Budaya Seyegan. Hal ini disebabkan minimnya kunjungan wisatawan ke Desa Budaya Seyegan ini yang memiliki potensi budaya dan alam yang besar. Topik ini dipilih untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat dan daya tarik wisatawan, serta memperbaiki kondisi ekonomi lokal. Metode pengabdian masyarakat yang digunakan meliputi kolaborasi antara akademisi dan masyarakat lokal dalam mendokumentasikan tradisi, seni, dan kearifan lokal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa video yang dihasilkan berhasil menarik perhatian, hal ini tebukti dengan jumlah viewer 25 view sealam 8 hari di kanal Youtube Pengabdi. Video dokumenter ini difungsikan untuk meningkatkan visibilitas desa, dan mendorong pelestarian budaya dan memperluas jangkauan promosi. Kesimpulannya, inisiatif ini tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai promosi tetapi juga sebagai arsip budaya yang penting, dengan rekomendasi untuk pelatihan pembuatan konten bagi masyarakat lokal guna mendukung pengembangan pariwisata yang berkelanjutan.
