Abstract

This study aims to find out how extracurricular activities carried out at SDN 244 Guruminda and SD Plus Al Ghifari can help develop students' character and skills. The research used a descriptive analysis method with the research subjects being the deputy head of the school in the field of curriculum and students. Data collection techniques by conducting interviews and observing extracurricular activities at school. As a result, extracurricular activities at school are able to have a good impact on students in the form of developing students' character and skills. Extracurricular activities carried out outside the classroom provide a variety of learning that is not only fixed in the classroom. Extracurricular activities provide learning experiences outside the classroom for students to become independent human beings, able to work together, able to solve problems, be creative, and always behave well. Therefore, schools as educational units should always carry out extracurricular development activities in order to create students who have good character as a provision to more easily survive life in the future.

Abstract

This community service program aims to revitalize the village library so that it can function again as a center of literacy and learning for the community. The main problem encountered is the suboptimal management and utilization of village library facilities. The program was carried out at the Majasari Village Library, Jawilan Subdistrict, Serang Regency, using a participatory mentoring approach implemented through several stages: (1) Sorting library materials, (2) Applying ownership and inventory stamps, (3) Creating a master catalog book, (4) Preparing descriptive and subject catalogs, (5) Attaching labels, pockets, and book cards, and (6) Organizing collections according to categories. The results show that the library materials became more organized, the number of collections was well recorded, and the process of finding materials needed by the community became easier. This revitalization effort also contributes to strengthening literacy development within the village community.Keywords: Literacy; Jawilan; Village Library; Revitalization

Abstract

This research is motivated by the increasing urban activities in Mempawah Hilir District as a Regional Activity Center, which has led to high traffic movement at the intersection of Jl. Raden Kusno – Jl. A. Djaelani – Jl. Raden Sujarwo. The diversity of land use and the meeting of arterial and collector roads create potential traffic conflicts and accident risks. The installation of traffic lights is implemented as a traffic control measure; however, its effectiveness in improving safety and comfort needs further analysis. This study aims to assess traffic safety and comfort conditions after the implementation of traffic lights at the intersection. A quantitative approach was used with primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained through questionnaires on road users’ perceptions and field observations, while secondary data included traffic accident records from Mempawah Police and spatial development data from Google Earth Pro, Google Maps, Copernicus, and Google Colab. The analysis employed descriptive-comparative, spatial descriptive, and scoring methods. The results show that traffic lights implemented since August 2023 have reduced traffic accidents and improved safety conditions, although not yet optimal compared to the lowest accident rate in 2021. Increased land use activity and traffic volume influence this condition. User perceptions indicate improved comfort internally, but external factors such as road conditions and side obstacles still reduce comfort and safety.

Abstract

Compliance with health protocols in inpatient wards is an important measure to prevent the transmission of infections within hospital settings. One of the factors presumed to be associated with such compliance is the level of knowledge possessed by family caregivers regarding health protocols. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between family caregivers’ level of knowledge and their compliance with health protocols in the inpatient wards of RSD Idaman Banjarbaru. This study employed a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. The population consisted of family caregivers accompanying patients in the inpatient wards of RSD Idaman Banjarbaru. A total of 94 respondents were selected using an accidental sampling technique. Data were collected using a valid and reliable questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using univariate and bivariate analyses. The relationship between variables was tested using the Chi-Square test with a significance level of α = 0.05. The findings showed that 32 respondents (34%) had a good level of knowledge, while 31 respondents (33%) had a moderate level of knowledge and 31 respondents (33%) had a low level of knowledge. Regarding compliance with health protocols, 67 respondents (71.3%) were categorized as compliant, whereas 27 respondents (28.7%) were categorized as non-compliant. The Chi-Square test yielded a p-value of 0.005 (p < 0.05), indicating a statistically significant relationship between family caregivers’ level of knowledge and their compliance with health protocols in the inpatient wards of RSD Idaman Banjarbaru. There is a significant relationship between family caregivers’ level of knowledge and their compliance with health protocols in the inpatient wards of RSD Idaman Banjarbaru. Higher levels of knowledge are associated with greater compliance with health protocols

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengalaman mahasiswa dalam menggunakan Zoom sebagai media pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi fokus dan pemahaman materi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, melalui pengumpulan data berupa tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap pengalaman belajar daring. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Zoom memberikan fleksibilitas dan kenyamanan, memungkinkan mahasiswa belajar dari mana saja, namun efektivitasnya sering terganggu oleh faktor internal seperti rasa bosan, kantuk, dan motivasi yang menurun, serta faktor eksternal seperti gangguan lingkungan, sinyal internet yang tidak stabil, dan perilaku peserta lain. Interaksi daring yang terbatas membuat sebagian mahasiswa merasa canggung atau pasif dalam berpartisipasi. Mayoritas mahasiswa tetap lebih memilih pembelajaran tatap muka karena lebih efektif dalam memahami materi dan memberikan kesempatan untuk interaksi langsung. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa keberhasilan pembelajaran daring melalui Zoom sangat bergantung pada kualitas penyampaian materi, motivasi mahasiswa, kondisi lingkungan, dan strategi interaktif yang diterapkan oleh pendidik.

Abstract

Although counterclaims have been recognized as a defendant’s formal right in civil procedural law, their position in divorce by repudiation and contested divorce cases within the Religious Courts still faces inconsistent practice, particularly due to a normative gap in the Compilation of Islamic Law. This study aims to examine the position of counterclaims in divorce by repudiation and contested divorce cases and to analyze their effectiveness as an instrument for protecting the rights of the parties. This study uses a normative legal method with statutory and conceptual approaches. Legal materials were analyzed descriptively and analytically to examine the regulation of counterclaims under the HIR and RBg and their relevance in the practice of resolving divorce cases in the Religious Courts. The results of the study show that counterclaims have an important position as a means of protecting the defendant’s rights as well as an instrument of procedural efficiency through the concept of one-stop litigation. However, their effectiveness is still hindered by normative uncertainty regarding post-divorce rights and weaknesses in the enforcement of judgments. Supreme Court Circular Number 3 of 2018, through the judge’s ex officio authority, constitutes a legal breakthrough in protecting women’s rights, but it cannot replace the active role of counterclaims as an instrument for asserting the rights of the parties. The conclusion of the study affirms that counterclaims need to be positioned as a strategic legal mechanism in resolving divorce cases in the Religious Courts. The implications of this study indicate the need for regulatory synchronization and the preparation of more comprehensive operational guidelines to ensure legal certainty, judicial efficiency, and substantive justice for the litigating parties.
