Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan, kepraktisan, keefektifan dan peningkatkan hasil belajar siswa terhadap pengembangan media pembelajaran fisika berbasis CTL berbantuan audio-visual powtoon. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI semester 2 jurusan MIPA di SMA Swasta Dwi Tunggal Tanjung Morawa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research & Development dengan model Brog & Gall, penelitian dilakukan hanya sampai pada tahap development atau pengembangan saja. Sampel yang diambil dari populasi adalah sebanyak dua kelompok yaitu kelompok kecil dan kelompok besar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan dengan analisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuisioner atau angket berupa lembar checklist, dengan indikator kelayakan yang diukur dari segi kevalidan, kepraktisan, & keefektifan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa uji kelayakan media pembelajaran CTL dari segi valid oleh validator ahli materi dan media dengan kategori layak, dan persentase uji kepraktisan media pembelajaran CTL oleh validator dengan kategori praktis, uji keefektifan media pembelajaran CTL berdasarkan hasil ketuntasan belajar adalah tuntas dan hasil keterlaksanaan pembelajaran kategori berhasil dan pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis CTL berbantuan audio-visual powtoon berpengaruh pada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Radioterapi adalah terapi penting untuk mengobati kanker dengan menggunakan radiasi berenergi tinggi untuk membunuh sel kanker sambil menjaga jaringan sehat tetap aman. Meskipun efektif, tantangan utamanya adalah memastikan dosis radiasi yang tepat dan melindungi organ di sekitarnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan studi literatur untuk menganalisis tantangan dalam radioterapi dan mengeksplorasi inovasi terbaru. Fokus utama pada penelitian ini adalah evaluasi teknik canggih seperti 3D-CRT dan IMRT untuk meningkatkan akurasi dosis, serta potensi penggunaan kecerdasan buatan (AI) dan big data dalam perencanaan perawatan untuk mengurangi kesalahan dan meningkatkan efisiensi. Penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman tentang manfaat dan tantangan penerapan teknologi tersebut di Indonesia. Dengan mengintegrasikan teknologi ini, diharapkan dapat mengatasi keterbatasan metode lama, memperluas akses, dan memberikan pengobatan yang lebih aman dan efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan study literature yang mendalami Penerapan Fisika dalam Ilmu Medis pada Radioterapi Kanker. Radioterapi merupakan salah satu metode utama dalam pengobatan kanker yang memanfaatkan prinsip-prinsip fisika radiasi. Dalam penerapannya, fisika radiasi memungkinkan pengendalian dosis radiasi secara presisi untuk memaksimalkan kerusakan pada sel kanker sambil meminimalkan dampak pada jaringan sehat di sekitarnya. Artikel ini menyajikan tinjauan literatur mengenai konsep dasar fisika radiasi, teknologi terkini dalam radioterapi, serta aplikasinya dalam pengobatan kanker. Berbagai teknik seperti radioterapi berbasis sinar-X, proton, dan partikel berat dianalisis berdasarkan efektivitas klinis dan tantangan implementasi. Selain itu, artikel ini membahas peran perkembangan teknologi pencitraan dan algoritma perencanaan dosis dalam meningkatkan akurasi terapi. Melalui kajian ini, diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan mendalam tentang pentingnya integrasi fisika radiasi dalam inovasi medis untuk pengobatan kanker yang lebih efektif dan aman.

Abstract

AbstractThe background to this research is that physics lessons are often considered difficult and less interesting by students, especially because of their abstract nature, the complexity of mathematical calculations, and the difficulty in connecting theory with practice. One of the challenging topics is Newton's Law of motion, which includes the relationship between force, mass and acceleration. This research was carried out at MA Muallimin UNIVA Medan, by applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model, an innovative learning media that is relevant to development. technology. This research utilizes PHET (Physics Education Technology), an interactive simulation platform developed by the University of Colorado Boulder, to support learning Newton's Laws. PHET allows students to carry out virtual experiments independently with various variables, such as mass, force and surface type, so that student learning outcomes increase. The research method used is quantitative in class X-G. The instrument used is a written test (essay) with a total of 10 questions. It is known that the pretest and posttest data are normally distributed with a significance value of Pretest (0), Posttest (0,), and are declared homogeneous with a significance value Based on Mean (0.245) where the normality and homogeneity test values exceed (>) the real level used in the measurement namely α = 0.05 or 5%. With the help of SPSS, it is known that the average posttest student learning outcomes (85.93) are higher than the pretest (58.80), so it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity of the design and results of the design of e-modules. problem solving based on business and energy. This study is the creation of electronic modules of business and energy based on problem solving validated by 1 media expert to evaluate the appearance and suitability of the module, then 1 Theory expert to evaluate the depth of the content of the e-module designed by Lecturers at the State University of Medan. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires, media expert validation and material expert questionnaire validation. The results obtained from the aspect of the designed validity of the input of media experts obtained an average score of 88.3% in the very feasible category and for the evaluation of Theory experts the average value was 90.5% in the very feasible category. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the e-module of business and energy based on problem solving was valid. Keywords: E-Business Module, Energy, Problem Solving

Abstract

Teaching materials play an essential role in education, serving as critical resources and guides for both teachers and students. They significantly enhance students' understanding and competency development by aligning with curriculum demands, particularly skill-based competencies. Science process skills are vital for engaging students in Physics, yet traditional teaching methods often limit the development of these skills. Effective Physics education should incorporate diverse strategies, including the case study approach, which fosters scientific thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Implementing a scientific approach can further enhance these skills but may present challenges such as reduced learning pace and student interest. Teachers must address these challenges through close monitoring and thorough preparation, ensuring teaching materials are valid and effective. Researchers propose integrating case-based methods with a scientific approach to aid students in learning wave phenomena, making Physics concepts more accessible. The effectiveness of these materials will be evaluated using the N-Gain test, a statistical measure assessing improvement in student performance through a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest design, with data analyzed using SPSS. This study aims to identify issues and gather user feedback to optimize Physics teaching materials. The analysis of teaching materials developed using the case method, supported by a scientific approach, reveals their effectiveness in enhancing students' science process skills. The average N-Gain score of 0.71, reflects a 71% improvement, these materials significantly improve students' abilities, particularly in the Sound Wave subject. The effectiveness is evident in the enhanced skills of analysis and problem-solving among students, validated through pre-test and post-test comparisons. The average pre-test score was 60.4, which increased to 88.3 in the post-test. Despite some challenges such as inconsistent internet access, the teaching materials proved to be highly effective, with 20 students achieving effective results and 10 achieving fairly effective results. The teaching materials also foster various science process skills including critical thinking, experimentation, and communication. These methods encourage student engagement, critical thinking, collaboration, real-world application, creativity, and overcoming learning barriers, making education more dynamic and interactive.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan rancangan pembelajaran, menganalisis tingkat kevalidan dan keefektifan E-learning berbasis Edmodo pada materi gelombang bunyi di kelas XI SMA. Metode penelitian yaitu Research and Development (R&D), dengan ADDIE model. Sampel penelitian menggunakan purvosive sampling yaitu 34 siswa XI MIPA 1 dan 35 siswa XI MIPA 2 di SMA Negeri 1 Sunggal. Hasil validasi ahli materi memperoleh rata-rata 99% dengan kategori sangat valid, hasil validasi ahli media memperoleh rata-rata 96% dengan kategori sangat valid, dan hasil validasi pada praktisi pembelajaran (guru) adalah untuk keseluruhan aspek 95% yang terkategori sangat valid. Uji keefektifan terhadap hasil kemampuan akhir siswa diperoleh presentasi ke tuntasan klasikal yaitu 89% yang menunjukkan bahwa sangat efektif. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa rancangan pembelajaran E-learning berbasis Edmodo yang dikembangkan sangat layak dan efektif dapat dipergunakan sebagai media mendukung proses pembelajaran materi gelombang bunyi di SMA.

Abstract

Background: Student learning outcomes in the topic of Energy and Its Transformations remain consistently low in Indonesian vocational high schools. One of the key challenges is the predominant use of conventional teaching methods and the minimal use of engaging digital tools. This results in low student participation and limited conceptual understanding.Aims: This study aimed to develop and evaluate interactive learning media using Canva, integrated with the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model, to improve student engagement and learning outcomes in IPAS (Natural and Social Sciences) for Grade X students.Methods: The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, covering Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The media included interactive features such as visual simulations, drag-and-drop tasks, embedded videos, and quizzes with instant feedback. It was validated by three subject-matter experts and tested in stages: individual trials (3 students), small-group trials (6 students), and a field test with 64 students divided into experimental and control groups. Instruments included expert validation sheets, practicality questionnaires, pretest and posttest assessments. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and independent t-tests.Results: The media received a validation score of 88.7% (highly feasible). Practicality ratings from teachers and students averaged 89.4%. The experimental group showed significantly higher posttest scores than the control group (p < 0.05), with moderate learning gains.Conclusion: Canva-based interactive media, when combined with the PjBL model, is valid, practical, and effective for enhancing engagement and learning outcomes in vocational science education. It is suitable for broader implementation across similar educational settings.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Kooperati Tipe Two Stay Two Stray terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa SMP pada materi Struktur Bumi dan Perkembangannya. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan desain two group pretes postes design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas VIII SMP Negeri 24 Medan yang terdiri dari 8 kelas. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar berbentuk pilihan berganda sebanyak 20 soal dan aktivitas siswa dengan menggunakan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa nilai ratarata pretest dan postest di kelas eksperimen adalah 43,75 dan 80,93 sedangkan di kelas kontrol adalah 41,25 dan 74,37. Rata – rata aktivitas belajar siswa di kelas eksperimen pada pertemuan I sebesar 60,39 (cukup aktif), pada pertemuan II, dan pertemuan III sebesar 74,19 (aktif) dengan rata- rata sebesar 67,56 dengan kategori aktif. Analisis data menggunakan uji t diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa ada pengaruh model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Two Stay Two Stray hasil belajar fisika siswa SMP.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) develop interesting instructional media such comics can affect student™s motivation, 2) determine students™ motivation after using comic as learning media, and 3) determine the feasibility of comic and student™s responses on momentum and impulses topic. The study was placed at SMAN 2 Medan and the participants were 20 science students of grade 10th. The type of research with Pretest-Postest group design model. The ADDIE model used for prepared instructional design of Physics Comic. The data of expert™s validations, students™s response and motivations were collected  by using questionnaire of experts™ validation, student™ responses and students™ motivation.The result of this study is the product of momentum and impulses comic.The result of material validation is 𝑋̅=4.25 in the good category and instructional media validation is 𝑋̅=4.50 in  very good category. The assessment of students in the form of response questionnaire is 𝑋̅=4.38 in very good category. It can be concluded that the momentum and impulses comic is feasible to use in learning and get positive responses from the students. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the momentum and impulses comic is strongly feasible abd very good so that it can be used in the learning process.
