Abstract

This research is a descriptive study using quantitative methods. Quantitative research involves measuring the level of a particular trait. The subjects of this study were all students in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Study Program. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. Based on the results of the overall evaluation, information was obtained that of the 72 students who filled out the questionnaire, as many as 11.63% of students felt that the soft skills service was very satisfactory, 58.68% was satisfactory, 26.39% was unsatisfactory and there were 3.30% students who judged that the service was unsatisfactory. In other words, the largest percentage is in the satisfactory category. Therefore, student satisfaction with soft skills services in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Study Program is in the satisfactory category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the integration of etnomathematics in mathematics learning; describes cultural values ​​with ornaments that are closely related to mathematics and explores and explores mathematical concepts that can be utilized as a source of learning mathematics and efforts to develop etnomathematics as a basis for learning mathematics. The data collection process was carried out using exploration methods, documentation, literature study, and observation in the Batu Pake ’Gojeng park located on Jalan Veteran, Biringere, North Sinjai, Sinjai Regency. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the organization and buildings contained in the Gojeng Archaeological Stone Park have mathematical elements, namely building space, flat building, statistics, social arithmetic and collections. Thus, the role of ethnomatemics is as a student facility to be able to construct mathematical concepts in the park of the Archaeological Rock using Gojeng and can be used as a medium to facilitate students understanding mathematical concepts.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' creativity in realistic Mathematics Learning during the covid-19 pandemic. The research approach used is qualitative with descriptive research. The subject of this research are students at UPTD SMPN 12 Sinjai. The research instruments used include observation sheets, questionnaire sheets and interview guidelines. Triangulation used in this research is triangulation with technique. While the data analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that of the 4 research subjects who worked on 2 questions, it was found that all students answered correctly and correctly on question 1, but in question 2 most students answered incorrectly. This is due to a conceptual error in the application of mathematical formulas, some use the concept of a square area and a triangle area even though what is being asked in the problem is the combined perimeter of a square. So that most of the research subjects answered the questions incorrectly. So it can be concluded that realistic mathematics must first understand the basic mathematical concepts and then be able to realize the concepts.

Abstract

This study aims to compare student learning outcomes in mathematics with the use of Osborn and computer-based interactive mathematics learning model in class X TKJ SMKN 1 Sinjai. This type of research is an experimental research with a quantitative approach with a pretest postest control group design research design. The population in this study were students of class X TKJ SMK Negeri 1 Sinjai. While the sample used is simple random sampling. Based on the descriptive analysis of student learning outcomes in class X TKJ 1 after the application of the Osborn learning model as a control class, the average pre-test of the Osborn learning model was 76.80 and the post-test was 79.25 which was greater than the KKM (65). Based on the inferential analysis, the results of this study indicate that the Sig. (2-tailed) in the paired sample t-test of 0.000 where the value is less than 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that there are differences in learning outcomes between Osborn and the computer-based interactive learning model for the tenth graders of TKJ SMK Negeri 1 Sinjai.

Abstract

This study aims to diagnose students' difficulties in understanding and using the principle concepts in the FPB and KPK materials. This research uses a qualitative research type. The subjects of this research are fifth grade students at SDN 2 Balangnipa in the 2021/2022 academic year. Subject selection was based on mathematical ability and the considerations given by the fifth-grade teacher. The method used in this study was the method of documentation, tests and interviews. The results and conclusions of the research obtained include the types of student difficulties in the FPB and KPK materials are (1) Students have difficulty learning mathematics in the material about finding FPB and KPK scores (2) Lack of interest and enthusiasm for studying mathematics in addition to the limited mathematics learning tools available. used by educators

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendiagnosis kesulitan belajar siswa pada materi limit dan fungsi aljabar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang (1) Kesulitan belajar siswa pada materi limit fungsi aljabar bentuk tak tentu dan tak hingga, dan (2) Upaya siswa mengatasi kesulitan belajar materi limit fungsi aljabar bentuk tak tentu dan tak hingga. Subjek dari penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas XI MIPA 2 UPT SMA Negeri 1 Sinjai yang sedang mempelajari materi limit fungsi aljabr. Metode pengumpulan data penelitian ini meliputi metode observasi, metode wawancara dan metode dokumentasi. Sedangkan metode analisis data penelitian yang digunakan dalam analisis data penelitian adalah mereduksi data, menyajikan data dan menarik kesimpulan. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa (1) terdapat dua jenis kesulitan belajar bagi siswa pada limit fungsi aljabar bentuk tak tentu dan tak hingga, yaitu kesulitan dalam memahami konsep, seperti kesulitan dalam menerapkan rumus dan kesulitan dalam penyelesaian soal, seperti kesulitan dalam menerapkan rumus dan kesulitan dalam menentukan langkah penyelesaian soal. (2) berusaha mengatasi kesulitan belajar pada materi limit fungsi aljabar bentuk tak tentu dan tak hingga, belajar dari berbagai bahan referensi seperti youtube, berdiskusi dengan teman yang lebih mengenal materi, menambah latihan soal.

Abstract

Arabic is familiar to Muslims because the main source of teaching is the Qur'an and hadith, both of which use Arabic. In addition, the books of scholars in the field of Islamic sciences also use Arabic. Thus, Arabic is an urgent language to learn as Muslims. However, the Indonesian people, especially the millennial generation of students, still regard Arabic as a very difficult language to learn. Therefore, providing an understanding of the importance of learning Arabic needs to be done to the community so that they are able to recognize their identity as Muslims as a whole. Speaking skill (maharah kalam) is one of the most important aspects in learning Arabic because learning a foreign language will be easy if you are actively involved in communication efforts. Therefore, the author held training and mentoring activities for maharah kalam in learning basic Arabic at TKA/TPA Al-Ikhsan, Congkoe Hamlet, Lamatti Riaja Village, Bulupoddo District. The result of this activity is that in the process of learning Arabic, students show an enthusiastic attitude in receiving learning materials. This can be seen from their enthusiasm for learning, enthusiastic attitude in practicing vocabulary or conversation in front of friends, asking questions about the material that has been presented, and responding well to questions asked. Thus, the results of the learning evaluation show that students who have never studied Arabic are able to know well the lessons that have been taught and can pronounce Arabic vocabularies properly and correctly.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran interaktif untuk membantu mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Makassar dalam memahami materi algoritma dan pemrograman dasar khususnya pada situasi saat ini yang sedang dilanda pandemic covid-19 yang megharuskan pembelajaran dilakukan secara online. Penelitian ini dirancang dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Untuk mendapatkan modul yang valid dan efektif, maka dilakukan pengujian validitas terhadap instrumen penelitian serta pengujian validitas terhadap modul yang dikembangkan. Modul yang telah dikembangkan kemudian dinilai oleh subjek penelitian untuk menentukan keefktifannya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa MOBELIN dinyatakan memenuhi kevalidan dan keefektifan. Hasil ini diperoleh setelah dilakukan uji validitas oleh para ahli yang terdiri dari validasi instrumen pada keseluruhan aspek berada pada kategori valid yakni 3,32. Sementara itu, MOBELIN dikatakan efektif digunakan berdasarkan penilaian mahasiswa yang terdiri dari beberapa aspek yaitu pada aspek materi dengan skor 3,48 dengan kategori baik, aspek efektifitas dengan skor 3,41 pada kategori baik, aspek tampilan dengan skor 3,56 dengan kategori sangat baik, aspek kemudahan dalam mengakses dengan skor 3,60 dengan kategori sangat baik dan aspek keoptimalan dalam pembelajaran dengan skor 3,36 dengan kategori baik sehingga rata-rata skor secara keseluruhan adalah 3,45 dengan kategori baik. Sehingga,dapat disimpulkan bahwa MOBELIN dapat digunakan sebagai bahan ajar alternatif untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran.

Abstract

Matematika memainkan peran penting dalam semua bidang ilmu pengetahuan. Namun, pentingnya matematika dalam pendidikan tidak sesuai dengan pandangan siswa bahwa matematika adalah mata pelajaran yang mengerikan karena sulit dipahami, tidak menarik, dan membosankan. Penggunaan permainan ular tangga sebagai media pembelajaran, diharapkan mampu mengurangi atau menghilangkan anggapan negatif siswa terhadap matematika terutama kepada siswa SDN No. 196 Managasa, Desa Lamatti Riaja, Kecamatan Bulupoddo yang merupakan salah satu objek dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran ular tangga matematika dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dilihat dari perbedaan yang cukup signifikan antara rerata hasil angket motivasi awal sebesar 2.15 dengan hasil angket motivasi akhir sebesar 3.28. Peningkatan hasil belajar ini disebabkan oleh proses belajar dilakukan sambil bermain sehingga siswa merasa bahwa proses pembelajaran tidak membosankan mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung siswa.

Abstract

This service aims to provide training to teachers, especially teachers at MAN 2 Sinjai in utilizing the Quizalize application learning media. This is motivated by the rapid development of technology, so that teachers are required to utilize learning media in conveying subject matter. Based on the facts in the field, teachers have less interest and ability to utilize technology-based learning media. Therefore, this training focuses on the use of learning media that are attractive to teachers and can be used to deliver innovative learning materials. The method used in this training is a presentation method related to the use of the Quizalize application and dialogic discussions with the teacher. The material presented in this training included an introduction to Quizalize features as an interactive learning medium, and the steps for creating a teacher account in this application. After this activity was carried out, the results were obtained, namely, increasing teacher understanding, competence, and creativity in utilizing technology-based learning media.
