Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of hypnolearning in enhancing teachers' ability to deliver lessons to students through a guidance and counseling program. The research employs an experimental method with a quantitative approach, utilizing a pretest-posttest control group design. The study was conducted at SD Negeri No. 1 Balangnipa, Balangnipa District, Sinjai Regency, from September to October 2024. The population consisted of all elementary school teachers in Gugus II Sinjai Utara, with the sample selected using the total sampling technique to ensure equal opportunities for all members of the population. Data collection techniques included observation and tests, with research instruments comprising pretests and posttests designed to measure changes in teachers' abilities after the intervention. Data analysis was conducted through three stages, including assumption testing (normality and homogeneity tests) and hypothesis testing using a paired sample t-test with a 5% significance level. The results revealed that hypnolearning significantly improved teaching effectiveness, with an average score difference of 24.67742 and a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a substantial difference between pretest and posttest results. This improvement is attributed to teachers' ability to apply relaxation techniques and provide positive suggestions to students, creating a more conducive learning environment and enhancing students' comprehension. Thus, implementing hypnolearning in guidance and counseling programs has been proven effective in improving teaching quality. Therefore, this method is recommended as an innovative strategy for teachers to create a more comfortable, interactive, and engaging learning experience for students

Abstract

Segmentation is one of the critical stages in digital image processing and computer vision. However, conventional clustering-based segmentation methods, such as K-means and Fuzzy C-means (FCM), are still unable to accurately segment images whose pixels form hyperellipsoid clusters in the feature space. In addition, previous clustering methods based on Mahalanobis distance measurement require a long computational time and still have the potential to fall into local optima. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a new method for segmenting images whose pixels form hyperellipsoid clusters in the feature space, utilizing hyperellipsoid clusters merging through hierarchical analysis of hyperellipsoid clusters. The proposed method comprises eight main steps: histogram extraction, peak and valley identification, elimination of low peaks and valleys, peak combination for centroid initialization, initialization of cluster pixel members, elimination of ineffective clusters, hyperellipsoid cluster merging, and finalization of cluster members. This paper presents a novel approach to segmenting color images by employing an initial centroid discovery process and cluster analysis that considers cluster covariance for cluster merging. Based on the tests conducted using various image characteristics, the proposed method can provide 97.42% accuracy, 98.02% precision, 97.15% recall, 2.58 misclassification error, 97.54 F1-score, 95.29% intersection over union, 97.52% dice coefficient, and 15.37 seconds of computation time. The test results are superior to those of conventional methods, such as K-means and FCM. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the proposed method can effectively segment images with high accuracy. The proposed method can serve as an alternative approach to image segmentation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan arus globalisasi dan nilai sosial siswa, mengkaji hubungan linear keduanya, serta menganalisis pengaruh arus globalisasi terhadap nilai sosial dalam pembelajaran matematika di SD 286 Pasaka. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 48 siswa kelas IV sampai VI diambil dengan teknik total sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket dan dianalisis secara deskriptif serta regresi linier sederhana. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa arus globalisasi yang dialami siswa berada pada kategori sedang, sementara nilai sosial siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika tergolong tinggi. Hubungan antara arus globalisasi dan nilai sosial bersifat linear dengan nilai signifikansi 0,973 (p > 0,05). Selain itu, arus globalisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai sosial siswa dengan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,277 dan nilai signifikansi 0,013 (p < 0,05), yang menjelaskan 14% variasi nilai sosial siswa. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa globalisasi dapat memengaruhi nilai sosial siswa secara positif apabila diarahkan melalui pembelajaran berbasis nilai dan peran aktif guru. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi pengembangan strategi pembelajaran matematika yang mengintegrasikan aspek kognitif dan nilai karakter dalam menghadapi tantangan globalisasi.
