Abstract

Education is one of the efforts of awareness to realize cultural inheritance from past generations to new generations. Vocational education must prepare graduates who are easily absorbed by the industrial world and the business world, specifically for solving this problem, one solution is improving the learning model. The project-based learning model is able to form soft skills, gain knowledge to solve problems critically and creative thinking skills. The results of the research carried out were obtained, among other things, from each material validation statement, the experts stated that the module was valid and suitable for use. The results of media expert validation showed that the module was declared media valid. The response of lecturers in the electrical circuits course to the electrical circuits learning module gave a good response, namely the practicality level of the module was 78%, where the module was declared practical. A questionnaire distributed to students taking the Electrical Circuits course with 10 statements stated that the module received a score of 80%, where a score of 80% indicated that the module they used was practical for learning the Electrical Circuits course. The analysis carried out to see the results of the Paired T Test obtained a significant level of 0.000 < 0.05 which shows that there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results. It was concluded from this effectiveness test that there was a difference in the results before and after receiving treatment using Project-based Module Development in the Electrical Circuits Course.

Abstract

This research is motivated by advances in science and technology, as well as the lack of variation in learning methods integrated with technology in learning. The purpose of this study is to determine the feasibility of web learning in supporting independent learning. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model which includes five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Validation was carried out by media experts and material experts, followed by a field trial involving 35 students of SMKN 1 Bintan Utara. The research instrument used a structured questionnaire on a Likert scale to assess the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the media. The validation results showed that the learning media was valid and in accordance with learning needs. The practicality test produced an average score of 85.71% with a very practical category. The effectiveness test through gain score analysis showed an increase in student learning outcomes with a gain value of 0.6 with a moderate category. In conclusion, web-based learning materials are effective, valid, and practical in improving students' understanding of concepts and learning outcomes in science subjects

Abstract

This research aims to develop a web-based information system to overcome administrative inefficiencies in managing the Field Work Practice (PKL) program at Vocational High Schools (SMK). Using the prototype development method, the research followed three stages: collecting user requirements, developing and refining a mock-up, and evaluating system performance through Black Box Testing, specifically assessing system functionality, user interface, and user experience. The results show a reduction in time for administrative tasks such as student enrollment, schedule management, and industry collaboration. The system also achieved improved data accuracy through features such as real-time progress tracking and automated notifications. End-user feedback indicated high satisfaction with the system's usability and interface design. In addition, the system also supports government initiatives for technology integration in education by encouraging collaboration between schools, students and industry partners. The study concludes that the web-based system effectively improves administrative efficiency, promotes transparency and accountability, and prepares students to become a technology-based workforce

Abstract

The Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy is a strategic initiative of the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology to revolutionize the higher education system through increasing student learning flexibility and freedom. The purpose of this study is to explore the academic landscape related to the MBKM policy through a bibliometric approach to identify research trends, publication patterns, academic collaboration, and dominant themes that appear in the scientific literature. The method used is bibliometric analysis by utilizing Biblioshiny, VOSviewer, and Microsoft Excel software on 210 documents obtained from the Dimensions database with the keywords “independent learning” and “higher education”. The results showed a significant increase in publications since 2020 with an annual growth rate of 92.56%, indicating high academic interest in MBKM. The top ten most cited articles raised issues of MBKM curriculum implementation, institutional adaptation challenges, and technology integration in learning. The analysis also revealed extensive collaboration between authors and institutions, as well as a diversity of keywords such as “flexible curriculum”, “project-based learning”, and “industry cooperation”. The discussion in this study highlights that while MBKM offers great potential in enhancing student skills, challenges such as faculty readiness, digital infrastructure, and institutional support still need to be addressed. Therefore, the results of this study provide important insights for higher education policy makers in designing more effective and sustainable MBKM implementation strategies.
