Abstract

This research reveals the idea of the tauhid trilogy theory which roots from Salafis and its existence in the latest 2013 curriculum teaching modules of Akidah Akhlaq from several publishers in various cities which become a reference for teachers and writers for students at the high school level are equivalent, of course from the teaching process from the teacher, from the point of view of education, it will have a real impact, both the impact of theological thinking to character and real attitude in the form of real action. In this study the authors used a qualitative approach, an approach that emphasizes the analysis on the deductive and inductive inference processes as well as on the analysis of the dynamics of the relationship between observed phenomena. From this research, we obtain descriptive data describing the objectives and material, training and evaluation that learning the tauhid trilogy has a tremendous impact on students' beliefs and even becomes the attitude of real action. The data obtained through observation and documentation are then processed into information. The big conclusion from this research will strengthen the views of the moderate Ahlussunnah wal Jama’ah on the tauhid trilogy who have theological problems. This view is strengthened by tracing the genealogy of its roots of thought and the basics of its foundation from the holy texts of Quran and hadits, then discussing it scientifically and concluding it carefully so it can be justified with the considerations of experts from both competent theologians, commentators and legal practitioners. Based on that, this research shows that generally the thought of this tauhid trilogy is a new thing in the realm of Islam, especially in terms of the reasoning of faith which did not exist during the Shalaf Shaleh generation, whose validity is also still debatable, problematic and questionable. In particular, if we investigate further from the development of education, it will have a big impact on society, not only peace in religion, but it can shake religious moderation and lead to anti-tolerant attitudes but to acts of anarchism, radicalism and terrorism that justify the blood flow of fellow believers and same religion, country, and nation.

Abstract

MANSUR, M., SALAMAH, A., MIRMANTO, E. & BREARLEY, F. Q. 2022. Nutrient concentrations in three Nepenthes species (Nepenthaceae) from North Sumatra. Reinwardtia 21(2): 55‒62. — Nepenthes is a genus of carnivorous plants that are unique ornamental plants, but their nutrient concentration relationships have not been studied much, especially in endemic species on the island of Sumatra. So far, the analysis of the nutrient concentration in Nepenthes is mostly limited to leaves. There are few reports of nutrient concentrations in the pitcher fluid and the soil around where it grows. Leaves, pitcher fluid, and soil around the growth sites of each species i.e., Nepenthes sumatrana, N. spectabilis, and N. tobaica, from North Sumatra province were collected for nutrient analyses (N, P, K, Ca, Mg, and Na). The results showed that the nutrient concentrations in the leaves and pitcher fluid in the three Nepenthes species were generally low with those in the leaves greater than in the pitcher fluid. The concentration of nutrients in the leaves of N. sumatrana (lowland species) was least (except for N and Na) when compared to N. spectabilis and N. tobaica (highland species), likely reflecting the poorly fertile soil. In contrast, the nutrient concentration in the pitcher fluid of N. sumatrana was greater than N. spectabilis and N. tobaica. When compared across an extensive data set, we show that leaf N does not change with elevation, whereas P declines and the N:P ratio increases with elevation, suggesting that Nepenthes plants are obtaining sufficient N from prey at higher elevations.

Abstract

A series of unpleasant incidents emerged with religion as the reason. Such as the destruction of the Christian cemetery (Ngrukem) in Solo, the burning of the Ahmadiyah group's mosque in Sintang, and the expulsion of Catholic students who were praying in their boarding house. This article discusses efforts to minimize intolerant incidents, that one of which is carried out through the idea of moderate Islam (wasathiyah). Researchers used a qualitative approach with literature study (library research) as the main method. As a result, the Islamic values of washatiyyah are an implication of the teachings of "Rahmatan lil'alamin". Religious moderation (Islam washatiyyah) is the key to realizing a society that is not extreme in religion and is able to respect, understand and tolerate each other to create a peaceful and harmonious life between religious communities in Indonesia.

Abstract

As one of the pillars of Islam, the Hajj has great urgency to be carried out by every Muslim who is considered to have the ability. Apart from being an obligation, the Hajj also has many advantages, as explained in the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad. This research examines the congregation's acceptance of the hadith on the virtues of the Hajj and its implementation in carrying out the Hajj pilgrimage through two problem formulations; first, what is the reception of the Hajj pilgrims towards the hadith; and second, what is the form of implementation of the hadith by the congregation? This question was analyzed using a qualitative approach with in-depth interview methods supported by data related to the pilgrims' understanding of the hadith of the virtues of the Hajj and the practices carried out during the Hajj pilgrimage. The research results show that the majority of Hajj pilgrims understand and accept the hadith and the virtues of Hajj well. They try to practice the teachings in the hadith, such as increasing worship, protecting themselves from immoral acts, and increasing spirituality during the Hajj. This shows the high awareness of Hajj pilgrims about carrying out the Hajj pilgrimage as well as possible. This research concludes that the congregation's acceptance of the hadith on the virtues of the Hajj is quite good, and they try to apply it in the implementation of the Hajj, so that this can contribute to a deeper understanding of the dynamics of people's spiritual life.

Abstract

This article explores how Wali pilgrimage tourism influences the formation of pilgrims' attitudes toward charity in East Java. This study aims to understand how the spiritual experiences and cultural values associated with the Wali pilgrimage site can shape pilgrims' socio-religious behavior. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation at key pilgrimage sites in East Java. The findings reveal that Wali pilgrimage tourism is not only a form of religious fulfillment but also enhances pilgrims' awareness and commitment to charity through almsgiving. The management of pilgrimage sites that blend Islamic values with local culture plays a crucial role in fostering a spiritual environment conducive to generosity. Local leaders and community figures serve as catalysts in reinforcing social and religious values that promote community solidarity. This research highlights the significance of spiritual tourism as a tool for cultivating positive social attitudes and offers insights for the sustainable development of religious tourism in Indonesia. Consequently, ongoing efforts to strengthen spiritual and social values within pilgrimage tourism are essential to maximize its positive community impact.
