Abstract

Most students are not skilled in writing scientific arguments, have not expressed opinions accompanied by relevant data, learning uses teacher-centered discussion methods but is still not optimal, and teachers have never applied learning to improve students' argumentation skills. So, an alternative for improving students' argumentation skills is to use the Argument Inquiry (ADI) model, a recommendation for a 21st-century skills inquiry learning model that can improve students' argumentation skills. This research aims to analyze student activities in implementing the Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI) model using Interactive E-LKPD, to analyze the increase in argumentation skills in students who apply the ADI model using Interactive E-LKPD and students who do not apply the ADI model using E-LKPD Interactive, and to analyze how students respond after learning by implementing the ADI model assisted by Interactive E-LKPD. This research was carried out at Al-Azhar 5 Cirebon Islamic High School. With a class X population, the samples are classes X.3 and X.1. Research on student activities during 3 meetings showed that the experimental class obtained the highest average score in the double-blind peer review syntax. The students' lowest activity during the learning process was the syntax for revising peer review reports. There is a significant difference in the increase in students' argumentation skills for the better after implementing the ADI learning model compared to students who did not apply the ADI learning model. The response of students who applied the ADI model assisted by Interactive E-LKPD showed a positive response

Abstract

Citizen Science is considered a way to improve the relationship between research, education, and action by involving non-professionals in scientific research. Through Citizen Science, students will be trained to think critically and construct scientific arguments based on data and evidence they collect on their own. However, the scientific argumentation ability of students in several high schools in Region III of Cirebon is still relatively low. Based on the results of surveys and interviews with Biology teachers in the region, learning is still dominated by the Teacher-Centered approach, where the learning process is more teacher-centered. This research is a descriptive qualitative research conducted to determine students' perceptions of Citizen Science's contribution to scientific argumentation skills on environmental change and sustainability, using a descriptive method. The population in this study is MA and SMA in the Cirebon City/Regency area, while the schools sampled in this study are SMA Negeri 1 Source, SMA Negeri 8 Cirebon City, and MA Salafiyah Cirebon City. The data collection techniques used in this study are structured interview techniques and questionnaires, and based on questionnaires and interviews there are a variety of answers obtained, but in general many students are new to Citizen Science, and students' interest in agreeing to the Citizen Science hypothesis can improve scientific argumentation skills and critical thinking skills, in addition to the level of relevance between Citizen Science and environmental change and sustainability materials have great potential to be implemented.

Abstract

Students in learning is still using printed books from the library, this causes students to be passive in learning because the material in the printed books that are causes students to be passive in learning because the material in printed books is too broad, complicated and difficult to carry too extensive. Material that is too broad is often not explained by the teacher due to lack of lesson time. Based on this background, a solution is needed to maximize important material to be discussed and in accordance with the learning objectives at each meeting so that the activities to be carried out in learning can be well allocated. The solution to the problem, namely E-LKPD. The purpose of the study was to determine the perceptions of Biology teachers and students towards the use of E-LKPD in implementing learning with the PjBL model. The research method used was descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study were 1 Biology teacher and 30 students at one of the State High Schools in Cirebon Regency. Data collection techniques used interview sheets, teacher needs analysis questionnaires and student needs analysis questionnaires. The results showed that class X students used learning resources derived from textbooks borrowed from the library, students felt that environmental change material in the textbook was difficult to understand because it was too complex a discussion, the teacher found it difficult to summarize a lot of material from the textbook for several learning objectives. So that according to students and teachers, the package book has not supported learning activities so that it requires other teaching materials that are in accordance with learning objectives and effective content and in electronic form for easy access.  Keywords: Requirement Analysis, E-LKPD, PjBL
