Abstract

Introduction. In Indonesia, technology has developed in various fields, this study explores the management of archives in Indonesian institutions still uses conventional archives or manages records electronically. The result of our findings also convey information on the development of electronic records management that has been carried out through a systematic literature review.Methods. A systematic literature review method was used for exploring electronic records management study. The use of this method is designed to search for, assess, and synthesize the best available evidence. The goal is to get informative, evidence-based answers related to the research questions.Analysis. The research will be analyzed based on the theory of Population, Intervention, Comparison, Outcomes and Context (PICOC). Results and Discussion. Carried out through a systematic literature review method, our results found 20 documents that had links with electronic archive management activities. The institution applies electronic archive management by using software technology such as computer-based applications, Android-based applications on mobile phones, and website-based network applications to various processes of archiving activities.Conclusion Our results suggest that the management of institutional records in Indonesia should follow the development by implementing electronic management.

Abstract

Introduction. From a rare collection preservation perspective, antiquarian collections are considered fragile and prone in terms of biological, chemical and physical damage. This causes antiquarian collections require special handling to preserve. Data Collection Methods. This study used a systematic literature review with a qualitative approach using Google Scholar. Based on the searching process, we analysed three articles. Data Analysis. The data was obtained and analysed by describing the content of the articles, including the ideas of problem solving and recommendations in the articles. Results and Discussion. The digitisation of antiquarian collections aims to improve user services by providing access to digital antiquarian collections and to preserve them. There are three main activities in the process of digitising antiquarian collections, namely selecting, scanning and storing. Conclusion. This study provides an overview of the digitisation process of antiquarian collections conducted by special libraries. More particularly, the special libraries must manage sufficient budget and plan to conduct the digitisation process of antiquarian collections.

Abstract

The spread of hoaxes is increasingly widespread in various media, causing changes in public behavior, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research was conducted to see the development of publications related to public behavior towards hoaxes, the analysis related to the media for spreading hoaxes, and the impact of the spread of hoaxes on public behavior during the covid-19 pandemic This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method by collecting literature related to the topics discussed then conducting an analysis of research on community behavior towards the spread of hoaxes during the COVID-19 pandemic through the media in Indonesia from 2020 to 2021. The results show that there are many the media used as a means of spreading hoaxes makes hoaxes more widespread, lack of understanding of information selection causes the spread of hoaxes to affect public behavior where people are anxious to take action during the covid-19 pandemic. This must be a concern for the government and the community, actions need to be taken to minimize the spread of hoaxes such as information literacy to the public regarding how to filter information from trusted sources.

Abstract

Introduction. Digital curation tasks and objectives align with the task of archivists who must digitally plan to ensure safe long-term preservation. As information professionals, archivists must master competencies to become digital curators in the future. This study aims to determine what competencies an archivist must have in digital curation. Data Collection Methods. This study uses a systematic literature review (SLR) available in SCOPUS from 2018-2022, considering 11 selected articles. This study also applied bibliometric analysis using VOSViewer to identify the main characteristics, discuss, and provide research opportunities in this field. Data Analysis. In the first phase, SLR consists of three steps: planning, conducting, and reporting. In the second phase, the bibliometric using co-occurrence analysis to visualize the keyword network, density, and overlay visualization. Results and Discussion. The results of the bibliometric analysis indicate that there are still several topics regarding digital curation that have not been widely studied, including those related to competence, cultural heritages, data management, career, and learning. Based on the systematic literature review there are 11 selected articles that are relevant to research topics and used for data analysis. Conclusion. From 11 selected articles, it was found that archivist competencies in digital curation can be divided into four categories: cognitive, functional, social, and meta competence. The competencies found have implications for archivists as future digital curators by combining technical skills, including expertise in metadata standards and information organization, as well as personal skills. Based on the findings, it also can be an opportunity for further research to examine digital curation competency seen in the topics that are still rarely studied.

Abstract

Introduction. Organizations need information systems to facilitate document management in support of their business processes that can be managed through EMDS. This study aims to find out the literature on the benefits of EDMS in supporting knowledge management. Data Collection Methods. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method on the results of journal articles regarding the use of EDMS in supporting knowledge management during 2015-2020. The stages of SLR research use three stages, namely planning, collecting and reporting. Data Analysis. Research data using descriptive analysis presented with simple statistical tables.. Results and Discussion. There are ten articles showing that EDMS used in various organizations can assist in the management of KM information assets such as storage, distribution, security that can improve organizational performance that needs to be supported by good human resources. Conclusion. HR plays an important role in information management through the use of EDMS to support KM. This research provides awareness of the importance of utilizing EDMS and competent human resources in KM management in organizations. The collection of articles uses two databases so that the data obtained is still limited.

Abstract

Background of the study: Digital archives in institutions or organizations has increased which is marked by the number of institutions that have established archive units. In the process of preservation or preservation of digital archives, it has its own difficulties compared to other media. Preservation is the most strategic activity, because the availability of records is closely related to the acquisition results that are maintained properly so that they can be processed and accessed for users. The implementation of archive preservation is not easy, there are several obstacles that cause the preservation to be less than optimal. Purpose: This study aims to provide knowledge about the preservation of digital archives as an effort to save important information and data in archives, it requires preservation or preserving archives in digital format. So that further research is needed, so this research is to facilitate researchers in conducting further research. Method: This study uses a systematic literature review method by combining bibliometric analysis of the literature from the Scopus database for the period 2018 to 2022. Findings: The results of the study show that preservation is an effort to maintain and store archives, both content or media so that they are durable and longer. Conclusion: Research topics in the search results regarding the preservation of digital archives are still found that have not been widely studied, namely, data preservation, long-term preservation, digital archives, and web archives, which can provide opportunities for further researchers to examine digital archive preservation

Abstract

Kajian ini menyajikan tantangan dan peluang dalam pelestarian/preservasiTacit Knowledge (TK) dari seorang Pustakawan sebagai asset yang bernilaibagi sebuah perpustakaan. Studi spesifik diambil dari TK yang dimilikioleh Ibu Atikah sebagai Pustakawan Madya di Kelompok Layanan MajalahTerjilid dahulu. Penulis berpendapat bahwa ada ancaman kepunahan TKkarena tidak adanya rekaman maupun pendokumentasian TK beliau mengenaiKelompok Majalah Layanan Terjilid. Kajian ini menggunakan metodekualitatif dengan pendekatan study literature. Data diperoleh berdasarkanpengamatan sehari-hari penulis dalam melakukan pekerjaannya sebagaipustakawan dalam melayani pemustaka di Kelompok Layanan MajalahTerjilid Bidang Layanan Koleksi Umum. Kesimpulannya ditemukan bahwapengetahuan tacit yang ada pada diri pustakawan harus dituangkan dalambentuk catatan khusus yang bersistematis agar pengetahuannya tetapada, terjaga dan dapat digunakan dan lebih bermanfaat lagi baik bagipustakawan sebagai regenerasi maupun oleh pemustaka dalam pencarianinformasi yang dibutuhkan. Preservation pengetahuan tacit ini sangatpenting untuk keberlangsungan proses ilmu pengetahuan dan merupakanaset yang sangat bernilai bagi tumbuh kembangnya perpustakaan yangmenaunginya. Abstract

ABSTRAKKegiatan mengeksplorasi dan mengelola pengetahuan merupakan bagian dari aktivitas knowledge management dan kegiatan yang paling banyak dilakukan dalam knowledge management adalah kegiatan knowledge sharing. Penerapan knowledge sharing di perpustakaan begitu penting karena dalam kegiatan ini akan terjadi proses berbagi pengetahuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan Systematic Literature Review (SLR) pada artikel jurnal yang terbit di tahun 2017-2021 di Indonesia dengan menetapkan tiga Research Question (RQ). Hasil akhir yang diperoleh yaitu terdapat berbagai kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam rangka penerapan knowledge sharing di perpustakaan, seperti diskusi, seminar, berbagi pengalaman, storytelling, rapat, pertemuan tatap muka, pembuatan SOP, pembuatan modul literasi informasi, laporan hasil seminar dan workshop, notulensi rapat, modul pelatihan, rekaman audio pembelajaran di kelas, pembuatan tautan materi seminar yang dibagikan secara online, kliping surat kabar, berbagi informasi melalui cloud computing, mengajari penggunaan OPAC, dan lainnya. Penerapan knowledge sharing di perpustakaan juga memberikan manfaat yaitu meningkatkan kinerja pustakawan dan kinerja perpustakaan. Penerapan knowledge sharing tidak lepas dari berbagai hambatan yang dominan justru berasal dari SDM perpustakaan sendiri yaitu kurangnya kesadaran diri akan kontribusi dalam proses berbagi pengetahuan, rendahnya keinginan untuk berbagi, kurang percaya diri untuk berbagi pengetahuan, dan kesulitan komunikasi. Sedangkan untuk faktor budaya dan teknologi tidak terlalu menjadi hambatan. ABSTRACTThe activities of exploring and managing knowledge are part of knowledge management and the activities that are mostly carried out in knowledge management are knowledge sharing. The implementation of knowledge sharing in the library is so important because in this activity there will be a process of sharing knowledge. This study uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) on journal articles published in 2017-2021 in Indonesia by setting three Research Question (RQ). The final result obtained is that there are various activities carried out in the context of implementing knowledge sharing in the library, such as discussions, seminars, sharing experiences, storytelling, meetings, face-to-face meetings, making SOPs, making information literacy modules, reports on the results of seminars and workshops, meeting minutes , training modules, audio recordings of classroom lessons, creating links to seminar materials to share online, newspaper clippings, sharing information through cloud computing, teaching the use of OPAC, and more. The implementation of knowledge sharing in the library also provides benefits, namely improving the performance of librarians and library performance. The application of knowledge sharing cannot be separated from various obstacles, the dominant ones coming from the library's own human resources, namely the lack of self-awareness of the contribution to the knowledge sharing process, low desire to share, lack of confidence in sharing knowledge, and communication difficulties. Meanwhile, cultural and technological factors are not too much of an obstacle.

Abstract

The application of organizing knowledge in libraries is very important for the development and performance of a library. This study aims to provide a study and analysis of the application of organizing knowledge in university libraries in Indonesia. The methodology of systematic literature review is carried out in this qualitative descriptive study to describe and examine in detail several written works or articles. The collection of article material is carried out through searches on the ResearchGate portal for articles relevant to the specified topic. Further more, the articles were framed and selected through several exclusion and inclusion selection. The results of this study indicate that most of the research related to the application of organizing knowledge is carried out through qualitative methods. The models and methods of implementing organizing knowledge also vary according to the conditions and perspectives of each university library.

Abstract

This research discusses the holding of virtual archives exhibitions as an effort to increase archival outreach at the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI) as an archival institution and relevant to ANRI's function in managing archives (historical value archives). The purpose of this study is to describe the holding of a virtual archives exhibition by ANRI as an effort to increase archival outreach by ANRI. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, data collection is carried out by making observations, interviews, and document analysis. Data gathering of this study was conducted from February 2021 to May 2022.  The results of this study show that the holding of a virtual archive exhibition at ANRI as an innovation in archives management supported by policies in regulating the stages of organizing, managing exhibition resources, collaboration and sustainability of virtual archive exhibitions will support efforts to increase archival outreach. The virtual archives exhibition is held in accordance with ANRI's vision and mission in managing archives as a collective memory and national identity by utilizing social media platforms websites, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook. With the use of social media in organizing a virtual archive exhibition by ANRI, it can reach a wider range of archives users.
