Abstract

Knowing the connection between company’s success factor from knowledge management will be a great finding for other companies. The purpose of this research is to analyze how companies implement Knowledge Management (KM) based on the four KM lifecycles by Bukowitz and Williams The data comes from any scientific paper about the implementation of KM in companies in Southeast Asia from 2016 until 2022. This research utilized Systematic Literature Review (SLR) based on the PICOC methodology. This systematic literature review observes and identifies the KM implementation through the KM lifecycle. KM lifecycle consists of four cycles: get, use, learn, and contribute. The get stage consists of three main modes of implementation: company ways of seeking information to decide, company ways of seeking information to solve a problem, and company ways of seeking information to innovate. The use stage consists of two main modes of implementation: company ways of combining information in new/different ways and company ways of combining information in exciting practices. The learning stage consists of one primary mode of implementation: company ways of learning from experiences to create a competitive gain. The contribute stage consists of one primary mode of implementation: employee ways of dispatching their knowledge to the communal knowledge base.

Abstract

Introduction. This study discusses how a job design influences knowledge productivity among archivists at the Indonesian National Archives. A job design is examined with knowledge productivity and the relationship between them. The three job design was used to measure knowledge productivity characteristics (motivation, social, and work context). Data Collection Methods. This research used a quantitative approach with qestionnaires distributed in March-April 2021 to archivists at The National Archives of Indonesia Data Analysis. The validity and reliability of the instrument were processed using the IBM SPSS v26 program. Results and Discussion. The results showed that the job design had a relationship with knowledge productivity of 0.859 with a significance value (Sig.) of 0.000 and a coefficient of determination of 0.738. The results of the regression analysis showed Y = 37.707 + 0.189X means that job design has a positive effect on knowledge productivity. Conclusion. Based on data analysis, there is a positive influence between job design and knowledge productivity. It was found that knowledge productivity variable that the work context indicator did not have a significant effect on knowledge productivity.

Abstract

Museum Siola Surabaya has been keeping both artefact and paper-based colonial archives since 2015. What matters the most are to provide various sources of history of Surabaya, such as old furnitures, Surabaya topography maps, pictures of Surabaya mayors, city’s placard and certificate and Peneleh Dutch Cemetery archives. Before 2015, the archives were kept by Hygiene and Green Public Outdoor Service that has authority to manage cemetery at Surabaya. Unfortunately there are only limited pages of archives that are safe to be exhibited, such as cemetery map, the deceased biographies and cemetery register books. The archives kept as one

Abstract

This research discusses research trends on the topic of oral history and documentation in Indonesia. The focus of the discussion is (1) how much relevant research is related to the topic of discussion of oral history and documentation; (2) what are the research trends in oral history and documentation; and (3) what are the implications for research on similar topics in the future and the implications for research in Indonesia. This research uses a bibliometric analysis method by taking data from the SCOPUS database with search filters related to the topic of oral history and documentation for the last ten years, or 2013–2023. Then it was analyzed further using VOSviewer to see the network and density of research on similar topics. The results show that the highest number of publications related to the topic of oral history and documentation is in 2022, with 21 publications; the country with the most contribution is the United States with 46 publications; the field of social sciences is the subject with the largest contribution of 37.9%; and the most common documents were articles at 58.3%. Seeing from the network and density analysis that the topic of oral history and documentation is related to other keywords and has the opportunity to be further researched is also an interesting discussion.

Abstract

In the evolving landscape of modern libraries, where the demand for service innovation and the imperative for standardized services intersect with existing gaps in their fulfilment. This research examines the development of research on library quality standardization in Indonesia from 2018 to 2023, utilizing the Scopus international scholarly publication database. Three main questions were explored: (1) The quantity of international scholarly publications on library quality standardization in Indonesia during this period; (2) The involvement of core journals in international publications on library quality standardization in Indonesia; (3) The landscape of international research publications on library quality standardization in Indonesia based on keywords. Research data were collected through Scopus searches using customized keywords and filters, and analysis was conducted using Scopus Analyze Search, VOSviewer, and CitNetExplorer. Findings indicate that the peak development of the library quality standardization topic in Indonesia was in 2022 with 16 articles, and the "Library Philosophy and Practice" journal emerged as a core publisher with 11 articles. Mapping results reveal a lack of interconnectedness between articles, indicating less variability and continuity in discussions. Recommendations for further research include adding data from multiple databases for comparison, enhancing keywords, and refining query terms for richer and more comprehensive results.

Abstract

Bibliometric analysis is a quantitative method for analyzing data in existing databases at journal publishers. This method is used to find out how much a particular topic has been researched and discussed by researchers in the field concerned. This method is to find out current research trends and what types of research are still lacking and need to be explored more deeply for future needs regarding digital preservation of ancient library manuscripts. The data presented comes from existing analysis drawn from the SCOPUS Journal database and then the data is also processed through the VOSviewer application. In the research trends regarding digital preservation that exist in this modern era, it is considered important to know the trends and directions of research related to this issue, especially as we currently live in a fast-paced modern world. This is also because we are in the digital era and digital preservation has become an important topic to discuss in recent years. Various kinds of challenges and opportunities are very interesting to discuss regarding the research topic of digital preservation of manuscripts in libraries.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the research dynamics related to the Application of Knowledge Sharing in the Public Sector. The study was conducted in December 2023 by searching the Scopus database with the keywords "knowledge sharing" and "public sector". The search results were analyzed and processed using the VOSViewer application program to identify the bibliometric map of the development of research in the field of knowledge sharing in the public sector. The results show that the number of research publications in the field of knowledge sharing in the public sector on Scopus from 2019 to 2023 has experienced a significant increase and has been most published in the VINE Journal of Information and Knowledge Management Systems. Knowledge Sharing research in the Indonesian public sector is considered less popular. The most productive researcher in publishing research results is Sreejith Balasubramanian, affiliated with Middlesex University Dubai. Through network visualization, it shows that the research development map regarding knowledge sharing in the public sector is divided into 6 clusters. Cluster 1 consists of 15 topics, cluster 2 consists of 14 topics, cluster 3 consists of 12 topics, cluster 4 consists of 12 topics, cluster 5 consists of 10 topics, and cluster 6 consists of 5 topics. Research related to this topic in Indonesia is still focused on business, management, and accounting subjects in several institutions, with collaboration between researchers that needs to be improved.

Abstract

Background of the study: Universities should manage information digitally. Digital curation is a way to preserve and develop the collection of information so that it can be maintained and accessed in the future. Purpose: This study aims to determine how many studies have examined digital curation at universities from 2012-2022 and the extent of the research affiliation. Method: This research is a quantitative research using a descriptive methodology through a systematic literature review. The collection of journal articles uses bibliometric analysis to find the articles studied from the Scopus database and processed with using VosViewer to describe research trend data. Findings: There are 91 journal articles from the Scopus database on digital curation in universities from 2012 to 2022. Digital curation is the most dominant keyword with 22 events. The trend of the highest number of research shows that there are 16 journal articles in 2012. The Digital Curation keyword shows the highest number of 57 research relationship affiliations. Conclusion: This research can describe research trends, distribution map and research relationship. It can also help to show clearly that research is still rare or has not been studied to encourage novelty for the development of further research.
