Abstract

Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) is a voluntary act of creativity and innovation designed to enhance an individual's or organization's performance with persistence and enthusiasm, involving taking more responsibility and encouraging others to do the same. One of the challenges that must be faced is low OCB. Instances reflecting low OCB behavior include difficulty finding replacements when colleagues are not available, a lack of commitment to tasks beyond routine work, and a strong sense of indifference. Therefore, an analysis is needed to determine the relationship between tenure, job satisfaction, organizational culture, and OCB at Delta Surya Sidoarjo Hospital. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. The number of randomly selected respondents was 165. There were two variables in this study: the independent variable and the dependent variable. Independent variables include tenure (X1), job satisfaction (X2), and organizational culture (X3). The dependent variable in this study was Organizational Citizenship Behavior (Y). Two data analysis techniques employed in this study: the linear regression test and the chi-square test. Based on the research results, it was found that the measurements of Organizational Citizenship Behavior for Delta Surya Hospital employees on December 19, 2022, showed that 33.33% of employees had high OCB, while 66.66% had low OCB. Using the linear regression test, it was stated that tenure did not affect OCB (sig = 0.396), Organizational Culture affected OCB (sig = 0.000), and job satisfaction influenced OCB (sig = 0.000). Job satisfaction at Delta Surya Hospital is high, while Organizational Culture and Organizational Citizenship Behavior are low. Job Satisfaction and Organizational Culture affect Organizational Citizenship Behavior, while tenure has no effect.

Abstract

Despite a decrease from 2021 to 2022 based on data from the Indonesian Nutrition Status Survey in 2023, helminthiasis remains a major problem in Indonesia, with high prevalence rates in 2020. The Indonesian government has intervened to address the problem, including a survey to assess helminthiasis prevalence in Jember district conducted by BBTKLPP Surabaya and Jember District Health Office. The survey results showed that some students were still infected with helminthiasis, and there were problems with clean and healthy living behavior in some students. However, there are difficulties in presenting sensitive reports, so 13 indicators in the questionnaire were simplified using PCA (Principal Component Analysis) method to facilitate data visualization and analysis given the correlation among indicators. This study used a descriptive observational design with a cross-sectional approach and included 190 samples of primary school students out of a total of 615 samples. Some samples were not used because of incomplete or blank data due to absence at the time of the survey. The results showed that 7 out of 13 indicators were feasible for further testing, while the remaining 6 indicators were not feasible. Using the PCA method, 3 indicators (Principal Component) were successfully obtained to represent the other 7 indicators, namely basic knowledge of helminthiasis, environmental sanitation, and personal hygiene related to helminthiasis among primary school children. This study concluded that the PCA method is effective in identifying factors associated with helminthiasis and can reduce correlated variables without losing important information from the original data. This helps in the implementation of helminthiasis prevention efforts in Indonesia.

Abstract

The application of tariff applied in handling BPJS patients references the INA- CBGs and the payment model used by BPJS Kesehatan to replace the total bill by the hospital. Hospitals receive payments based on the INA- CBGs rate, which is the average cost spent by a group of diagnoses. It is expected to improve the quality and efficiency of hospitals. The benefit of implementing INA -CBGs in JKN is the tariffs in the form of packages cover all components of hospital costs. Cost efficiency efforts must be made. That is no deficit from the applicable INA-CBGS tariff. Quality and cost control efforts are very important in the implementation of ENT specialist poly services. This study aims to analyze the demographic characteristics of the patient, the patient's diagnosis, the difference in rates between INA CBGS payments and RSIS rates, the composition of financing and the Unit Cost of ENT Polyclinics. The research type is quantitative observational with cross-sectional design. The research location is at the Surabaya Islamic Hospital with BPJS TXT data, processing in January-December 2019. The results showed, the demographic characteristics of most patients were > 50 years old, and most of them were diagnosed with minor chronic diseases. The difference between Ina-CBGS payments and RSIS rates is Rp. 60,174 which means that each patient contributes a profit of Rp. 60,174. The composition of the financing for implementation of the ENT Polyclinic is the cost of consulting services. The unit cost of ENT Polyclinic patients is Rp. 132,774 per patient.

Abstract

Nursing staff is a priority in providing services to patients. If the number of nurses and patients is not balanced, this will result in workload problems and the lack of staff will result in less than optimal service to patients. In this study, the method used to calculate staffing needs was WISN (Workload Indicators of Staffing Need) for Mekkah inpatient nurses (adult inpatients). The WISN method has five stages: finding available work time, finding work units and human resources categories, making work load standards, making allowance standards, and calculating labor requirements for each work unit. The aim is to analyze the need for nursing staff based on the workload in the Mekkah inpatient unit (adult inpatient unit). The time motion study method is to be able to understand more deeply the phenomena that occur and are felt by the informants through observations and interviews. The results of research on staff requirements using the WISN method were 35 nurses with real conditions of 20 nurses so there was a shortage of 10 nurses.
