Abstract

ABSTRAK: Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat terkait dengan pemberdayaan kader hear (Hypertension Awerness) merupakan sebuah metode pola pembinaan edukasi pemberdayaan kader melalui kegiatan pendidikan kesehatan dan pendampingan kader secara langsung yang bertujuan untuk melatih kemampuan kader Kesehatan dalam mengenal masalah dan penatalaksanaan hipertensi. Metode ini digunakan agar para kader sebagai sasaran program tidak hanya mengerti dan memahami, namun juga berperan aktif dengan cara menerapkan apa yang sudah diketahui pada kegiatan ini. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data dengan menggunakan program statistic program, pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan diperoleh hasil terdapat 58 % menyatakan menarik, 32 % menyatakan sangat menarik, dan sisanya 10% cukup menarik. Kemudian program pengabdian masyarakat disampaikan dengan baik sebesar 65%, sangat baik 25%, dan cukup baik 10%. Hasil pretest pengetahuan kader terkait pengertian, penyebab, tanda gejala, pencegahan, dan tatalaksana terkait penyakit tidak menular hipertensi berada pada kategori pengetahuan buruk sebesar 55% dan pengetahuan baik 45%. Hasil dari posttest dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat tingkat pengetahuan kader meningkat yaitu pengetahuan baik sebesar 85% dan pengetahuan buruk sebesar 15%. Program Pengabdian Masyarakat ini dilakukan dalam bentuk Edukasi kesehatan yang dilakukan dengan informasi yang sesuai dan spesifik dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan para kader yang nantinya dapat membantu pasien hipertensi dalam mengatasi masalahnya di masyarakat ABSTRACT: Community service activities related to the empowerment of hear cadres (Hypertension Awerness) are a pattern method of fostering cadre empowerment education through health education activities and direct cadre mentoring which aims to train the ability of health cadres to recognize problems and manage hypertension. This method is used so that the cadres as program targets not only understand and understand, but also play an active role by applying what is already known in this activity. Based on the results of data processing using the statistical program, the community service carried out showed that 58% said it was interesting, 32% said it was very interesting, and the remaining 10% said it was quite interesting. Then the community service program was delivered well at 65%, very well at 25%, and quite well at 10%. The pretest results of cadre knowledge related to understanding, causes, signs, symptoms, prevention, and management related to hypertension non-communicable diseases are in the category of bad knowledge of 55% and good knowledge of 45%. The results of the posttest of community service activities increased the knowledge level of cadres, namely good knowledge by 85% and bad knowledge by 15%. This Community Service Program is carried out in the form of health education which is carried out with appropriate and specific information that can increase the knowledge of cadres who can later help hypertension patients in overcoming problems in the community.

Abstract

Hypertension is a chronic disease that requires special treatment to support the success of treatment. This study aims to analyze the role of peer group support in an effort to increase the success of treating hypertension patients in the work area of the Jenggawah Health Center. In this study, there were 15 informants who participated in data collection. Determination of informants using purposive sampling. This study uses a qualitative research design with a case study approach. This study uses 3 methods of data collection, namely in-depth interviews, focus group discussions (FGD), and observation. The results obtained: peer group support programs can increase knowledge about hypertension treatment; fostering motivation through sharing experiences, becoming friends, supporting treatment, and wishing for healing; establish effective communication between members through verbal and nonverbal; and increasing psychological support for self-confidence, stigma, and medication adherence. The conclusion of this study is that peer group support can help increase the success of treating hypertension patients through knowledge, motivation, communication, and psychological support. So it’s hoped that a nurse can continue to support and be a facilitator in the peer group support program to increase the success of treating hypertension patients

Abstract

Aggressive as physical or verbal behavior intended to cause harm. Meanwhile, aggressive behavior is a serious problem that has a negative impact on adolescent mental health and achievement in school. The purpose of this study was to describe aggressive behavior in adolescents in high school environments in urban and rural areas of Jember Regency. The design of this research is a quantitative descriptive research. This research was conducted in senior high schools in rural and urban areas in Jember Regency with a total sample of 250 respondents who were selected using a purposive sampling method. This study used univariate analysis, wherein the results of this study will display demographic data and a description of aggressive behavior in adolescents. The results of the emotion study showed that 46.4% of respondents had verbally aggressive behavior, 29.6% of respondents had physically aggressive behavior, 12.8% of respondents had angry aggressive behavior and 11.2% of respondents had hostile aggressive behavior. Based on the results of this study that the aggressive behavior of adolescents tends to be high, so to overcome aggressive behavior in adolescents it is necessary to make various efforts by paying attention to the dimensions of development in adolescence so that the efforts developed are able to overcome various causes of mental health problems faced by adolescents and adolescents have resilience..

Abstract

One of the health problems faced by women is breast cancer, breast cancer is the most common cancer worldwide and the second cancer that causes death. Breast cancer is the most common in women, namely 42.1 per 100,000 population. Breast cancer can be detected early by breast self-examination or BSE, but many women forget the method and order of practice. Using posters can provide reminders and ways for women to continue doing BSE. This type of research is a quasi-experimental quantitative research. The research design used was a pretest-posttest control group design. The results show differences in knowledge, attitudes and practices each and between groups. Knowledge attitudes and practices have improved overall since the intervention. At the end of the measurement, all groups had good BSE knowledge and attitudes. Behavior with good category before treatment 18% to 39%. In conclusion there are differences in knowledge, attitudes and practices respectively and between groups. Poster media is an effective medium for increasing knowledge and practice. Posted poster media is effective in increasing BSE attitude.

Abstract

Introduction: The prevalence of various health problems in the aggregate of toddlers is still quite high in Indonesia. The role of the family is needed, especially in optimizing the implementation of the health care function in order to be able to improve the health quality of toddlers. Objective: Analyzing the correlation between the parental character and the health care function implementation of families with toddler is study's purpose. Methods: Cross sectional quantitative design was carried out in this study. The population in this study was the entire family of toddlers. The research sample was 100 families with a sampling technique using purposive sampling. Results: The independent variables were the characteristics of parents including parent education (mom and dad), family revenue, and profession of mother. The dependent variable included the health care function implementation of families with toddler. Conclusion: Mother’s education, family revenue, and mother’s profession didn’t have a significant relationship with the health care function implementation of families with toddler. There was a correlation between father's education and the health care function implementation of families with toddler. A father's high education will help fathers in making wise decisions about children health in the family. Health education related to optimizing health care functions should be provided by nurses to parents.

Abstract

Introduction:The documentation is a comprehensive record of the patient’s condition and can be used as evidence of accountability. In Indonesia, many nurse do not document nursing orphanage properly. Implementation of nursing documentation is due to various factors, one which is knowledge. One of factor in improving the knowledge of nurses in documenting nursing orphanages is through training Objectives:  This study aims to find out the impact of 3S based training (SDKI, SLKI, SIKI) on nurses knowledge of documentation of nursing care independent practice Methods: The method used is quantitative research, pre-esperimental research design with one-group pretest-posttest research design using Wilcoxon test. The population used in this research was 54 independent practice nurses from DPK PPNI Tanggul. The sample for this research consisted of 15 respondents who had been selected using purposive sampling in accordance with the inclusion criteria, namely nurses who were present and committed to participating in the training and mentoring process. Results:In the study showed before given training , knowledge of nurses category good is 2 respondents (13.3%). After conducting the training , knowledge of nurse category good as 11 respondents (73.33%). The Wilcoxon test results obtained a p-value of 0.003 ≤ 0.05 which means there is a difference between the pre-test and post- test results Conclusions:  The importance of training for nurses is to increase their knowledge in nursing documentation, so that nurses are expected to be able to implement related nursing documentation.

Abstract

Perkembangan psikososial rasa remaja berada pada tahap pencarian identitas diri. Hal tersebut membuat remaja mulai berpikir tentang dirinya sendiri sebagai persiapan ke arah kedewasaan. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk membantu remaja agar mampu mencapai perkembangan psikososial pada rentang adaptif dan sehat adalah dengan melakukan psikoedukasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan psikoedukasi dengan pendekatan skill training model untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenali perkembangan psikososial pada remaja berdasarkan teori Erikson. Desain penelitian menggunakan quasy experiment with control group terhadap 50 orang responden yang diambil secara acak dengan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Responden kemudian dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok yakni kontrol dan eksperimen masing-masing terdiri dari 25 orang. Intervensi diberikan selama 2 hari dengan jumlah sesi sebanyak 5 sesi meliputi topik tentang perubahan aspek biologis dan psikoseksual, perubahan aspek kognitif dan bahasa, perubahan aspek moral dan spiritual, perubahan aspek emosi dan psikososial, dan perubahan aspek bakat dan kreativitas pada remaja. Kemampuan remaja dalam mengenali perkembangan kesehatan mentalnya diukur dengan kuesioner dengan reliabilitas 0,983. Data dianalisis dengan uji Wilcoxon dan Mann-Whitney untuk membandingkan skor subjek pada pretest dan posttest dari kelompok kontrol dan eksperimen. Hasil penelitian diperoleh: 1) tidak ada perbedaan kemampuan mengenali perkembangan psikososial remaja pada kelompok kontrol sebelum dan sesudah intervensi (p-value 0,235 > 0,05); 2) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan mengenali perkembangan psikososial remaja pada kelompok eksperimen (p-value 0,000 < 0,05); 3) terdapat perbedaan kemampuan mengenali perkembangan psikososial antara kelompok kontrol dan eksperimen (p-value 0,003 < 0,05). Psikoedukasi dengan pendekatan skill training model dinilai cukup efektif digunakan sebagai pilihan intervensi bagi perawat jiwa atau profesional terkait lainnya untuk membantu remaja mengenali kemampuan perkembangan psikososialnya. The psychosocial development of adolescents is at the stage of searching for self-identity. This makes teenagers start to think about what and who they are at that time and in the future as preparation for adulthood. Psychoeducation is an intervention option to help adolescents achieve their psychosocial development in the adaptive and healthy range. This research aims to provide psychoeducation with a skills training model approach to improve the ability to recognize psychosocial development in adolescents based on Erikson's theory. The research design used a quasi-experiment with a control group on 50 respondents taken randomly using a proportional stratified random sampling technique. The respondents were then divided into 2 groups, namely the control and the experiment consisting of 25 people each group. The intervention provided in 5 sessions in 2 days include: changes in biological and psychosexual aspects, changes in cognitive and language aspects, changes in moral and spiritual aspects, changes in emotional and psychosocial aspects, and changes in talent and creativity aspects. Adolescents' ability to recognize the development of their mental health was measured by a questionnaire with a reliability of 0.983. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney tests to compare subjects' scores on the pretest and posttest from the control and experimental groups. The results of the study were obtained: 1) there was no difference in the ability to recognize the psychosocial development of adolescents in the control group before and after the intervention (p-value 0.235 > 0.05); 2) there was a significant difference in the ability to recognize the psychosocial development of adolescents in the experimental group (p-value 0.000 < 0.05); 3) there was a difference in the ability to recognize psychosocial development between the control group and the experiment (p-value 0.003 < 0.05). Psychoeducation with a skills training model approach is considered a quiet effective intervention for psychiatric nurses or other related professionals to help adolescents recognize their psychosocial development abilities.
