Abstract

Abstract

This research investigates the dissemination of hoax content related to the 2024 Indonesian General Election (#Pemilu2024) on TikTok, highlighting the platform's role in the spread of disinformation. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining a literature review with primary data collected from TikTok via web scraping and secondary data sourced from Turnbackhoaks.id and media reports. Content and message analysis, along with Naïve Bayes classification, were employed to investigate the types of hoaxes, their dissemination patterns, and audience responses. Data triangulation ensured validity and reliability. Findings revealed a concerning prevalence of political hoaxes, including black campaigns and attempts to manipulate public opinion, rapidly spread by TikTok's short-form video format. The Naïve Bayes method classified comments on #Pemilu2024 TikTok videos with an accuracy rate of 87.37%. After preprocessing, 414 comments were analyzed, comprising 127 negative, 237 positive, and 50 neutral comments. The Naïve Bayes method effectively predicts sentiment in TikTok comments related to #Pemilu2024. The analysis reveals that social media videos can easily influence the Indonesian people without verifying information on official websites.

Abstract

Political parties reflect a democratic state, which is believed to be a condition for modern state life. As institutions for channeling interests, political parties are used as communication with a two-way function, namely, top-down and bottom-up. If this can be carried out well, then political parties' function as political socialization, political participation, political communication, articulation of interests, aggregation of interests, and policymaking can run well to realize the expected political development. The research method used in this research is qualitative research methods. Through qualitative research, the author has created a complex picture, examined words, reviewed detailed reports from the point of view of resource persons, and conducted studies on natural situations. This study aims to determine direction of political parties' development in the Russian Republic of Tatarstan, political parties' function, and political development amid a society in this modern era. The problem in this research is that political parties in Russia tend to have their own interests, either from the central government or the state or Federation governments. In addition, there tends to be a mismatch between the central and state governments in decision making. In fact, in the context political parties can be a tool for realizing development in a country. Even though there are problems, the results showed that political parties in the Republic of Tatarstan rated quite well in carrying out their functions by the functions of political parties according to the Law of the Russian Federation and the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan concerning Political Parties. The development of political parties in the Tatarstan Republic has played a role in controlling conflicts of interest among the Republic of Tatarstan.

Abstract

The phenomenon of using social media as a medium to meet the information and education needs of society is the result of the rapid development of the internet. Now people's needs are easily met, because various things are included in it. This can be analyzed based on the phenomenon of Instagram accounts as information on feminism education in the Instagram account @perempuanbercerita. The purpose of writing this research article is that the many cases against women make Instagram an information medium capable of providing feminist education to followers, using qualitative research methods with observation, note-taking and descriptive analysis techniques, with the phenomenological study approach of Edmund Husserls. The research subject is the flow of feminist educational information from the Instagram account @perempuanbercerita to followers of the Instagram account @perempuanbercerita. The use of social media Instagram as an educational medium, as well as empowering women, produces responses in the form of information, emotions and actions in accessing @perempuanbercerita posts as well as conscious experiences in cognitive and perceptual aspects in line with the development of the same meaning related to feminist values.

Abstract

Background: Several studies have investigated Government Public Relations (GPR) over the last few decades. However, very little exhaustive research has been conducted on this issue so far. Purpose: The study aims to provide a comprehensive review of the literature and a bibliometric analysis of GPR based on existing empirical research. Methods: The study employed a Systematic Literature Review, searching for the phrase “Government Public Relations” in article titles, abstracts, and keywords in the Scopus database, yielding 126 articles from 1976 to 2025. The evaluation was done on October 19, 2025. The raw data were analyzed bibliometrically using VOSviewer. Results: The research shows that GPR has experienced remarkable worldwide expansion, with the greatest concentration in the United States and Indonesia. This growth is driven primarily by digital transformation, global crises, demands for democratization, the complexity of global issues, and the professionalization of GPR. Conclusion: The GPR sector in emerging countries is still under-researched. Research works in the past have primarily dealt with advanced countries, for example, the United States and South Korea. Future research should address the needs of developing countries, particularly Africa, Latin America, and Central Asia. The paper argues that there are five essential qualities of effective GPR: transparency, accountability, public participation, responsiveness, and two-way communication. The paper also analyses the conceptual framework of GPR. Implications: The consequences for the sustainable administration and development of government organizations and for ensuring their adherence to GPR principles.
