Abstract

This research is motivated by findings that indicate the low effectiveness of academic supervision, limited training, low teacher professionalism, and less than optimal teacher performance in elementary schools. These problems were identified through primary and secondary data obtained from the research location. The main objective of this study is to examine the influence of academic supervision and training on teacher professionalism, and to examine how these factors impact teacher performance improvement. The study was conducted at a public elementary school in Pulosari District, Pandeglang Regency. The study population involved 203 teachers with a sample of 135 respondents. The method used was a quantitative approach with a Likert-scale questionnaire instrument, while data analysis was conducted using Smart PLS regression. The results of the study indicate that academic supervision and training have a positive and significant effect on teacher professionalism. Furthermore, teacher professionalism plays a significant role as a mediating variable, strengthening the influence of academic supervision and training on teacher performance. In other words, the better the academic supervision and training provided, the higher the level of teacher professionalism, which ultimately impacts performance improvement. The conclusion of this study confirms that improving the quality of academic supervision, training, and teacher professionalism is a strategic factor in optimizing the performance of educators in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of pedagogical competence and organizational culture on creativity and its implications on the performance of elementary school teachers in Labuan District, Pandeglang Regency. Specifically, this study examines the relationship between personality and organizational culture, the relationship between personality and teacher performance through organizational culture as an intervening variable, the relationship between the work environment and organizational culture, the relationship between the teacher's work environment and organizational culture in Cipeucang District Elementary School, and the relationship between organizational culture and teacher performance. The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive approach and associative survey. The study population consisted of 98 civil servant teachers in Cipeucang District Elementary School, Pandeglang Regency, who also served as research samples. The research instrument was a questionnaire with a Likert scale, while data analysis was carried out using regression techniques using the Smart PLS tool. The results of this study indicate that pedagogical competence and organizational culture have a positive effect on teacher creativity, which in turn improves performance. However, when organizational culture is considered as an intervening variable, personality does not significantly influence teacher performance. Furthermore, organizational culture has been shown to act as an intervening variable, but the work environment does not show a significant effect. These findings emphasize the importance of strengthening pedagogical competence and developing a conducive organizational culture to enhance teacher creativity and performance. This study provides practical implications for elementary school management, particularly in building an organizational culture that supports teacher professionalism.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kualitas kehidupan kerja dan work life balance terhadap kinerja pegawai honorer melalui kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel mediasi di Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kota Cilegon. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada pegawai honorer di instansi terkait. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan teknik Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas kehidupan kerja dan work life balance berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, yang pada akhirnya meningkatkan kinerja pegawai. Selain itu, kepuasan kerja berperan sebagai mediator dalam hubungan antara kualitas kehidupan kerja dan work life balance dengan kinerja pegawai honorer. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi bagi organisasi dalam meningkatkan kebijakan terkait kesejahteraan dan keseimbangan kerja-kehidupan guna meningkatkan produktivitas pegawai.

Abstract

Juvenile delinquency is a crucial issue faced by many schools, including vocational high schools in Cilegon City. This study aims to explore the role of interpersonal intelligence in mediating the influence of character strength and emotional intelligence on juvenile delinquency. Using a quantitative survey method, data were collected from 250 vocational high school students in Cilegon City through a validated questionnaire and analyzed using the SEM-PLS approach. The results showed that character strength has a negative and significant effect on juvenile delinquency with a coefficient value of -0.321, indicating that increasing character strength can significantly reduce the level of juvenile delinquency. In addition, emotional intelligence also showed a negative and significant effect on juvenile delinquency. This confirms that increasing emotional intelligence also contributes to reducing juvenile delinquency. Interpersonal intelligence itself has a negative and significant effect on juvenile delinquency with a coefficient value of -0.161, indicating that better interpersonal skills can reduce the tendency of delinquent behavior. Furthermore, character strength and emotional intelligence were found to have a positive and significant influence on interpersonal intelligence, with coefficient values ​​of 0.370 and 0.484, respectively. Another important finding is the significant negative indirect effect of character strength and emotional intelligence on juvenile delinquency through interpersonal intelligence. This indicates that increasing character strength and emotional intelligence can reduce juvenile delinquency by increasing their interpersonal intelligence. This study concludes that strengthening students' character and emotional intelligence, as well as increasing interpersonal intelligence, are important strategies in reducing juvenile delinquency.

Abstract

1 Elementary school education is the most important educational process in student development. This is because elementary school is the source of basic education for children to acquire knowledge after they are educated by their parents at home. This study aims to determine the direct influence of leadership style and work environment on teacher performance and work motivation at SDN Carita District, Pandeglang Regency, as well as the indirect influence of both through work motivation on teacher performance. This research method is quantitative research to analyze the causal relationship between variables. This causal research uses quantitative data from a population of 60 teachers at SDN Carita District, Pandeglang Regency, with a saturated sample method. The Likert scale is used to measure respondents' attitudes and perceptions of social phenomena. The results of the study show that leadership style has a significant positive effect on teacher performance (coefficient 0.216,p-value0.007) and work motivation (coefficient 0.189,p-value0.037). The work environment has a very strong influence on teacher performance (coefficient 0.675,p-value0.000) and work motivation (coefficient 0.799,p-value0.000). Work motivation also has a significant effect on teacher performance (coefficient 0.562,p-value0.025), with an indirect influence of leadership style and work environment through work motivation. The study shows that leadership style and work environment have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance at SDN Carita District, Pandeglang Regency. Leadership style increases work motivation, which also contributes to teacher performance. The work environment has a very strong influence on motivation and performance. The indirect influence of leadership style and work environment through work motivation is also significant, confirming the importance of good management to improve teacher performance sustainably.

Abstract

The results of the first hypothesis test showed no influence of leadership on teacher performance at SDN Teachers in Pagelaran District. This result does not support the proposed hypothesis (rejected) The results of the second hypothesis test showed a significant positive influence of work discipline on teacher performance at SDN Teachers in Pagelaran District. This result supports the proposed hypothesis (accepted). The results of the third hypothesis test showed no influence of competence on teacher performance at SDN Teachers in Pagelaran District. This result does not support the proposed hypothesis (rejected). The results of the fourth hypothesis test showed a positive and significant influence of leadership on competence at SDN Teachers in Pagelaran District. This result supports the proposed hypothesis (accepted). The results of the fifth hypothesis test showed a significant positive influence of work discipline on competence at SDN Teachers in Pagelaran District. This result supports the proposed hypothesis (accepted). The results of the sixth hypothesis test showed that competence could not mediate the influence of leadership on teacher performance at SDN Teachers in Pagelaran District. This result does not support the proposed hypothesis (rejected). The results of the seventh hypothesis test showed that competence could mediate the influence of work discipline on teacher performance at SDN Teachers in Pagelaran District. This result supports the proposed hypothesis (accepted). This study provides important insights for improving the performance of teachers at SDN Pagelaran District, Pandeglang Regency by emphasizing the importance of humanistic leadership, improving teacher performance and creating a better work environment. This strategy can create more productive teacher performance.

Abstract

This community service aims to empower livelihoods in Siremen Village, Tanara District, Serang Regency, through the application of egg hatching technology to improve the community's economy. Preliminary studies are carried out to understand village conditions, identify potential, and determine needs that form the basis for planning economic empowerment programs. Collaboration through coordination meetings with related parties, such as the village government and local breeders, has proven to be a crucial factor in the success of the program. The implementation of training and workshops focuses on increasing the knowledge and skills of village communities regarding egg hatching technology and livestock management. Research findings show that training with the active participation of local farmers can increase the acceptance and implementation of new technologies. The implementation of egg hatching technology is supported by the provision of equipment and technical guidance, increasing efficiency and productivity in its application on chicken farms. Regular monitoring and evaluation of progress on the farm, including data collection on egg and chicken meat production, is the basis for assessing the program's economic impact. Extension and dissemination of activity results through seminars, reports and scientific publications are crucial steps in increasing awareness of new technologies in the agricultural and livestock sectors. Overall, this activity succeeded in empowering livelihoods in Siremen Village, with solid collaboration, effective training, technology implementation, and regular monitoring being the key points for its success

Abstract

Kurang maksimalnya kerjasama antar karyawan yang menyebabkan aliran informasi kurang efektif, minimnya dukungan antar rekan kerja, dan kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan masalah bersama. Kondisi ini berdampak pada penurunan produktivitas, kualitas kerja, serta menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kurang kondusif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh strategi pengelolaan konflik terhadap efektivitas tim, kerjasama antar karyawan, dan hubungan interpersonal, serta menganalisis pengaruh hubungan interpersonal terhadap efektivitas tim dan kerjasama antar karyawan. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mengeksplorasi peran hubungan interpersonal sebagai mediasi dalam pengaruh strategi pengelolaan konflik terhadap efektivitas tim dan kerjasama antar karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi dan pengolahan data menggunakan Smart PLS. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh karyawan BUMD di Provinsi Banten, dengan sampel sebanyak 255 responden yang ditentukan berdasarkan jumlah indikator sebanyak 51. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pengelolaan konflik memiliki pengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap efektivitas tim dan kerjasama antar karyawan. Sebaliknya, strategi pengelolaan konflik memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hubungan interpersonal. Selanjutnya, hubungan interpersonal berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap efektivitas tim dan kerjasama antar karyawan. Selain itu, hubungan interpersonal memediasi pengaruh strategi pengelolaan konflik terhadap efektivitas tim dan kerjasama antar karyawan secara signifikan. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peran hubungan interpersonal dalam memperkuat efektivitas tim dan kerjasama melalui strategi pengelolaan konflik yang efektif.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi sumber daya manusia dan motivasi kerja terhadap produktivitas kerja melalui kepuasan kerja di PT. Standard Toyo Polymer (STATOMER). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif sebagai kerangka kerja utama dalam mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data dan menggunakan instrumen kuesioner dengan 135 responden dalam penelitian. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara variabel-variabel yang diuji, kecuali untuk hubungan antara motivasi kerja dan produktivitas kerja yang menunjukkan hubungan positif namun tidak signifikan. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa peningkatan kompetensi sumber daya manusia dan kepuasan kerja karyawan dapat menjadi kunci untuk meningkatkan produktivitas kerja, sedangkan motivasi kerja saja mungkin tidak cukup untuk secara signifikan meningkatkan produktivitas kerja dengan keterlibatan kepuasan kerja sebagai mediator. Rekomendasi diberikan kepada manajemen perusahaan untuk memprioritaskan pengembangan kompetensi dan strategi peningkatan kepuasan kerja sebagai upaya utama untuk mencapai produktivitas kerja yang optimal. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa peningkatan kompetensi sumber daya manusia dan kepuasan kerja karyawan dapat menjadi kunci untuk meningkatkan produktivitas kerja, sedangkan motivasi kerja saja mungkin tidak cukup untuk secara signifikan meningkatkan produktivitas kerja. Hasil penelitian diharapkan relevan untuk PT. Standard Toyo Polymer (STATOMER) dan tidak dapat digeneralisasikan untuk perusahaan lain di industri yang berbeda.

Abstract

This study explores the influence of professional competence and pedagogical competence on teacher performance and the mediating role of work motivation among private PAUD teachers in Serang District, Serang City, Banten Province. The purpose of this study is to identify the direct and indirect influence of these variables on teacher performance through work motivation. The method used is Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-P2LS) with a quantitative approach, involving 135 respondents from 203 ASN populations. This study provides important insights for improving the performance of private PAUD teachers in Serang District, Serang City, Banten Province by emphasizing the importance of innovative professional competence and improving pedagogical competence based on skills and strengthening teacher work motivation. This strategy can create a more productive work environment.
